getting so fed up about the lack of trans voices in rhetoric on an academia level while trying to find sources for a class project that i am considering changing my career goals

#i'm supposed to lead a class discussion on intersectionality in women's rhetoric #so of course i want to look at queer women! so i've got alison bechdel of course. #gonna figure out an excerpt from gender troubles by judith butler to use #debating stone butch blues by feinberg? not sure yet #but what i really want is a trans or nonbinary rhetor to examine #but i am having A LOT of trouble finding a single one! #it was fucking difficult to find a trans masc journalist for an assignment in another class but i did it #this? this feels damn near impossible! WHERE are my trans academics rhetoric academics!!!! #but yeah this is literally making me consider doing a 180 on my '5 year plan' or whatever #maybe i should get a masters in rhetoric instead of aviation management #bc like. i do always say 'be the change you wanna see in the world' bc i do enjoy the sentiment at the very least #maybe i should fuckin pony up then and listen to my own damn self #be the trans rhetor examining our space in not just academia but the rhetorical sphere for the next queer kid looking to do a presentation #idk! idk! idfk!!!!!!!!! #gahhhhhhhhhhhhh its so frustrating just. in general. to lack sources that you know SHOULD exist #but they DONT >:( #max is talking #damn those are some long ass tags
