or Wukong accusing him of following him because he saw through Macky hiding in his shadow or Wukong punched him in the face on reflex when Macky when to introduce himself or when Macky saw Wukong show off to humans that he can speak their language and was so fucking giddy about it or—

#so many options and they all lead to one thing: #down bad loser #macky just looked over and saw Wukong doing some shit either direct at him or someone else and was never the same #my personal hc is that swk and macky run into each other pre-Subodhi training but swk was looking for the master’s monastery #macky pops up from the shadows bc he likes spooking people and swk decks him on instinct bc ‘OH FUCK!
