I am honestly proud of this batch here; I love how all these have turned out, especially the bottom right, which at first had a little trouble with perfecting the mask and thin tubes.

I'm having a blast watching pokemon scarlet and violet, the games are so bad, so many bugs and glitches, so many pokemon are ugly, so many DOG pokemon, too many dogs, the characters are giving me so many gay vibes, you can take selfies with your mons and character, you can actually real time play with your friends in your world. It is ACTUALLY open world.

favourite new pokemon in sv? :]

Honestly, I think most of the new sv pokemon suck in design :[ a lot of my favorites are just alternate forms or evolutions of older pokemon cuz they’re really good at making pre-existing designs cooler but, so many of the gen 9 newbies just. Feel bare or unfinished. Idk, maybe it’s just me. Like I really wanna like Orthworm, but the eyes kill the entire appeal, and the evolutions of the starters all suck ass, and I love Tadbulb but can’t stand looking at Bellibolt, Palafin’s battle form is hard to look at, Flamigo makes me mad because the design is so uninspired, and I wanna like Glimmora so bad but they animated it to shoot all of its attacks out of its ass (made me put it away in a box because I was so tired of looking at that), and Gimmighoul’s evolution is so ugly despite it being so hard to get that it made me actually mad when I finally evolved it.

Complaining aside, I guess my favorites are between Todsecruel, Spidops, Lokix, Clodsire, Dachsbun, Tadbulb, Farigraf, Scovillain, Slither Wing, Iron Treads, and Miraidon. If I had to pick, probably Todsecruel.

#this game made me unironically miss sword and sheild which is always a bad sign #i esp miss the swsh pokedex. even if the starter lines were awful everything else slapped #and i also miss peony. every day I miss him #also tinkatonk seems to be a fan favorite which ok godspeed but personally i dont like the design either sorry fellas :[ #I was glad to get so many new bug pokemon although i was also dissapointed by some of them and really you cannot beat orbeetle #like that set the bar so high for me ORBEETLE MY BELOVED #pokemon spoilers #pokemon scarlet and violet #it was fun to see spain as a reigon though one of the towns even reminded me of my grandmas village #but they did do what i was afraid they would do aka mix spanish-speaking culturesd together which is. not great and appropriative #like fuecocos evo line sucks specifically because of how it appropriates things like. sombreros and day of the dead #day of the dead is definetly not a spanish tradition because it was developed from indigenous practices DESPITE spaniards colonizing them #shakes my head smh

it’s so funny actually bc when the starters were first revealed I was 100% obsessed with Sprigatito like everyone else, absolutely sure I was gonna chose that sweet little kitty, didn’t rlly care about Fuecoco. but then I actually started the game and as SOON as I saw that DUMB LITTLE HAPPY FACE. HIS STUPID LIL SMILE. I WAS SO IN LOVE. I FELL SO HARD I SIMPLY HAD TO PICK HIM. I LITERALLY SENT MY FRIEND A VIDEO OF MYSELF JUST LOSING IT AND WEEPING BECAUSE OF HOW CUTE HE WAS. I PANICKED WHEN IT WAS TIME TO NICKNAME HIM AND JUST TYPED IN ‘LITTLE GUY!!!!’ IN ALL CAPS.

*deep breath* anyways after that I changed his nickname to Coco Cola and I calmed down a little bit but I love him. I love him so much. (And I may or may not have been absolutely crushed when he evolved within a day and was no longer super cute but that’s okay…. I - *sniff* - I love my baby boy at all stages of life… definitely not mad about it…. definitely not missing his adorable smile looking up at me every second of my life…….)
