Despite the still chilly weather outside, it had been impossible to resist the pull of popping into the ice cream shop when she was walking by on her way to her next errand of the day. It was just her luck that when she walked through the doors, a familiar face was waiting right at the back of the line. "Eli!" she called out, striding forward to go greet him. "Here getting ice cream for yourself or did someone sucker you into picking it up?"

"You can put that one there," Reggie directs, using a half-eaten Red Vine as a pointer of sorts as he gestures to the general empty floor space beside where his TV and PlayStation 5 were. He has yet to source a bedframe, but he had ensured he was able to play FC24 from the second the space was his for the duration of his lease.

Initially, he had helped, lugging two boxes that had previously been stored at their parents inside where he would unpack them at some point in the near -- or more likely, slightly distant -- future. Like most things with Reggie, the effort trickled off to less than nothing, as a quick glance at his phone had ended up in him sprawled on his couch replying to Instagram DMs while he chewed his way through the remnants of last night's snack of choice.

"Is that the last one?" He asks, with full awareness that it was.

Since Asli had given birth, Yas had been through a handful of times to offer help where she could and be another pillar of support for her and Eli. There was something special about being able to be a part of any child's life, but even more so knowing that it was family. After finishing her load of work at the hospital early for the day, Yas had stopped off at The Sweet Spot and picked up a box of treats to bring over just to check in. Knocking gently at the door just in case the baby was still asleep, Yas waited until she was greeted at the door. "Eli, hey. I just stopped by to bring you guys some pastries, make sure everything is still all going well," she greeted with a bright smile, holding out the box towards him.

Getting to know her family better meant getting to know the people in their lives. With the news about Asli's pregnancy, it became even more important to Yas to get to know Eli. When she spotted him across the field at the festival, Yas made a beeline over to greet him. "Hey, Eli, hi," she called out, lifting a hand up in a wave as she approached. "If you're not super busy, do you want to grab some corn dogs and go listen to some music?" Pausing, she quirked a smile at her lips before speaking again. "Asli told me about the baby, congratulations."

Along with the Instagram post, Asli has been working on a surprised birthday party for Elijah over the course of the past few months at her house. While making an abundance of his favourites of food and drinks (with Nazli, unfortunately, in charge of the cake), she worked alongside Nazli to be able to connect with Elijah’s closest of friends who may not live in town to bring them out to Providence Peak, alongside with the most important people in his life: his family. While Elijah thought that he was going to spend a quiet evening with Asli, Alex, Nazli, and the cats at Asli’s home, he’s going to come over and be reunited with some of the most important people to celebrate his birthday. Another surprise that Asli has for him is currently in the works and waiting for him at a later time. Happy birthday, Elijah Falvey!
