How do you think EddEddy is an abusive pairing?

i don't think their relationship is abusive lol. i think it has the potential to be toxic and annoying, but that's mostly just early on. they fight, they break up, they get back together, rinse and repeat. they both cycle through periods of being too cold or too needy. they've got issues to work out and that's a messy process for 2 giant egos. but they never give up on each other. they've got that whole red thread of fate thing going on.

#for the record i don't see their casual bickering as toxic #if anything it's indicative of their closeness and how comfortable they are with each other #when i say fighting i'm talking about BPS style screaming matches and taking (verbal) cheap shots at each other #eddy's got his issues with intimacy and emotional availability #edd's got whatever the fuck is going on with him (i have too many thoughts to post here but seriously i'm worried about the guy) #they're both insecure and jealous which comes into play as you might imagine #and throw some codependency in there for good measure #but as they get older and get past the initial teen/YA awkwardness & melodrama they can work through their ~trauma~ #and things get way more stable and they live happily ever after tee hee #text
