Now that the Shared Home event has come to an end, I want to thank everyone for participating! As an extra reward for everyone’s efforts in helping make it a successful event, every muse may collect an additional two points for each of the four task blocks of the event they took part in by completing at least one task, for up to eight points if an in-character post was made on the muse for all four blocks. You can just link your event tags (/tagged/fmdshaudition, /tagged/fmdsh1, /tagged/fmdsh2, /tagged/fmdsh3) on the muse blog from each task block on your points tracker to verify this.
There will be a break before we have another event since this one was so long, but don’t worry, other points opportunities are in the plans!
Also, a quick unrelated side note that I won’t be around at acceptance time today, so any last minute applications may not be accepted until later than the normal time! As long as they’re in before 6PM EST, they’ll still be reviewed for this round of acceptances.

[ARTICLE] SBS ANNOUNCES NEW IDOL-CENTRIC REALITY SHOW “SHARED HOME”
SBS has announced the airing of a new reality show called Shared Home featuring an all-idol cast. Idols from BC Entertainment, Dimensions Entertainment, and Gold Star Media have all been rumored to be participating in the season as the main cast and as special guests in select episodes. According to SBS, the show is called Shared Home as several idols will come together in the sharehouse form of living and share their lives and emotions as they get to know each other and make their sharehouse into a shared home. Further details, including a premiere date, have yet to be announced, but the show is reportedly nearing the end of its casting process.
ADMIN NOTES:
Please note that this is only an announcement post and the tasks for this two week block are for slightly-backdated casting, not yet the filming of the show itself. This is our long-term, or ongoing, event for 2019, like our We Got Married event in 2017 and our Idolized documentary event in 2018! If you weren’t here for either of those, these sorts of events run longer than a normal event and will be driven forward by sets of tasks posted on a bi-weekly (once every two weeks) basis specific to the filming of each set of episodes. Like our We Got Married event, the number of muses who can participate as main cast will be limited, but, muses who aren’t in the main cast of the show will be able to make cameo appearances in the episodes and complete tasks related to that in order to earn points, too! Unlike the first two ongoing events, there’s also plans for the event to overlap with a couple of tasks or mini-events during its run through the end of the year.
The show will be partly based on the premise of the show Roommate, but will not be an exact copy. There will most likely be two separate houses and groupings of idols shot for the show to enable a wider cast of muses.
Please be aware that if you sign up to have your muse be a part of the main cast for the show, you are expected to be able and willing to try to fulfill bi-weekly prompts and plan on being active for the majority of the run of the show. You won’t be penalized for not completing every task since everything is for fun, but the goal is to have active members participating as the main cast so that the event can stay exciting and interactive! If you’re anticipating an extended period of low activity before the end of the year, it may be best to stick to the optional cameo tasks for your muses instead!
Step One: If you are interested in your muse being part of the main cast, please fill out this survey here in-character. The questions will be used to sort muses into one of two share houses as well as to decide initial roommates! This will be your official expression of interest for the event but step two must also be completed in addition to step one order to officially enter your muse into contention as a main cast member! In-character, this will be filled out by the muse after passing the casting process from step two and receiving the form from the producers. Out of character, this step should ideally be completed first if you plan to complete it.
You may only submit this survey for one muse per mun, so choose the muse wisely.
The survey will be closed if the number of submissions exceeds a reasonable number of participants to live in two houses. If the limit is surpassed to the point that cutting the cast down is required, the latest submissions and submissions that do not complete step two by the due date will be cut for the most fair method. No more than four idols from the same group will be allowed to participate as main cast at the same time. Consider this if you have multiple muses and are deciding which one to submit. It may be wisest to submit a muse from a group with fewer muses currently in it than a group with many muses taken. The form will be updated as soon as possible to note if/when any groups are capped.
Step Two: Complete this casting video prompt in-character with a character count of at least 400 words and tag it with #fmdshaudition. This will be your muse’s in-character audition for the show and you may collect three points after completing it. You will have until Friday, November 1, at 11:59PM EDT to complete this step.
Note: Step two can be completed without step one for the points if you do not wish for your muse to actually became a main cast member, just make sure not to complete step one if that’s the case! This can be done for muns that don’t want their muse to be a part of the main cast or for additional muses past the one per mun that can be considered for the main cast!
The survey will be closed a few days before the casting tasks deadline (or if the number of interested participants exceeds a realistic amount — around 30/40) and the cast, houses, and roommates will be announced not long after to officially begin the ongoing event.
POINTS AVAILABLE:
Total available points: 6 points (Please note all six points are available for all muses, whether signing up to be main cast for the ongoing event or not.)
+3 points: Complete step two listed above and post it in the #fmdshaudition tag by Friday, November 1, at 11:59PM EDT to qualify for points.
+3 points: Write a head canon (400+ words) about your muse’s current living situation, what it’s like, and/or how they honestly feel about it. Are they messy or clean? Is their room decorated a certain way? If they live in a dorm, what do they like and dislike about living with their group members and co-workers? If they live on their own, do they get lonely? Maybe they’ve even moved back in with their family or share a house with a friend or group mate. What’s that like? This will not count toward your monthly limit and must be completed and posted in the #fmdshaudition tag by Friday, November 1, at 11:59PM EDT to qualify for points. (This is not a required step for a muse to be cast in the show, but is optional development for additional points.)
If anything in this post is unclear or you have any questions, please feel free to contact the admin.

welcome / kami & open
it felt weird having an entire house warming, it seemed like they really wanted to drive the concept home. ( and it was only strange because she didn’t a house warming party when she moved out. ) but it was something and kami found herself getting ready for it, taking the entire process too seriously. by the time the guest arrived, she was setting out a few side-dishes that she had just finished up. then there was another trip back upstairs, this time for touch ups. now when she came down, it seemed to be in full swing.
it was her luck, just as she walked past the front door, it opened up. she took a few steps back, a little shocked ( even though, she should’ve known. ) but mostly thankful they didn’t hit her in the face. “hello and welcome!” there was a hint of excitement in her voice. kami was never an overly bright person but she didn’t want to come off dry, not with the kami’s around. “i should move so you can really come in huh?”

sharehouse solo
this was something that nari wasn't into at all.
she could see the company pushing the girls to do it, to shove more on their schedule. it was an easy way to promote them outside of music but she hated the though of it. the company just gave word that they'd be able to move out on their own.
a sharehouse? and being recorded?
nari wasn't interested at all.
so she went for poliet when it came to filming her video. honestly, she wanted to come off as un-interesting as possible. maybe this would be a another test of her acting skills. it was the main reason she had set her audition clip in one of the companies rooms.
once the camera came on, she had a soft smile. not really engaging but you couldn't doubt she was poliet.
"hello, i'm wish's rina and this is my audition." her manager gave her a few questions to answer so nari chose to stick with this. she had memorized them at least, all she had to do was ease them into the audition. it'd be a rather plain video. with not much happening.
"right now, i still live in a dorm with the wish's members. for now we're rooming together." there was silence for a moment before she spoke again.
"i'd be nervous to room with so many people. that would be my personal problem but i don't think it'd be a big problem, a lot of idols know each other so i think people would be able to find friends easily." a clear given that would be no drama from her if she was on the show. "i think that finding a moment to be a alone is the hardest part of living with other's but it also depends on the size and other factor's, either way. you don't get a lot of privacy."
and now here, she had to lie a little bit. because nari never felt like she really had a home, not with her parents. but they created an image for her, for them and she had to get keep it up. "it happened once i became more comfortable with my members. i had a lively home and the other girls also keep things lively. once we became truly comfortable with each other, it became home."
and that was it.
there was nothing else left for her to say. "thank you for watching my audition."

eunah’s cameo appearance interview for fmdsharedhome.
what piece of advice would you give to the cast members about moving into a new place?
“recently, my group mate minzy and i moved into our own apartment, and my best advice would be to unpack straight away,” eunah says, ever sensible in her notions. she hates interviews like these, she always has to pad out her sentences, not an easy task for someone as quiet as eunah. “i really regretted not hanging all my clothes up straight away, it’s turned my room into a mess with clutter.”
what one thing is the most important thing to have in a new home or to figure out about a new home, in your opinion?
“the best nook!” this is an answer she can give earnestly and honestly for once. “it’s important to carve out a special space for relaxation after a long day. i have my spots in our new apartment that i enjoy - i write songs while sitting by my bedroom window, for example. i hope the housemates will be able to find spots like that for themselves in their new house.” she gives the camera a double thumbs up.
of the two houses and their different designs (house one - open, natural lighting, more outdoor access; house two - modern, sleek, elegant), which would you rather live in yourself?
eunah only went to house two’s housewarming party, but when she saw house one, she had to sigh. “ah, definitely house one. i only got to attend house two’s party, so i didn’t get to see it but i wish i had. it’s much more my style. i’m a big fan of natural lighting and all that kind of thing. i think it helps foster creativity.” of course, nowdays eunah thinks that the lights of seoul outside her window are as natural as the moon or sun, but she doesn’t want to get into that.

Filming for the third and final filming block (episodes nine through fourteen) of Shared Home has begun! Below, you’ll find the tasks for this four week period. These four episodes will revolve around the main cast celebrating the holidays, opening up more to one another, and saying farewell.
This post is quite long, but it is divided into information for the main cast and information for muses not in the main cast, so that you can find the information most pertinent to your muse(s).
Reminder: Shared Home has begun airing on SBS. Cast members are allowed to share photos and posts on social media about the show, but since the show will be airing several weeks behind filming, they are not allowed to post any content that will spoil details of the events of the show.
Note: Since there are quite a few people on hiatus for the holidays, I’ve extended the deadline an extra week again for this block and spread the events of the block out over four weeks instead of three, so everyone will have four weeks to earn points.
As always for events, please don’t feel pressured to complete more than you’re able to. Main cast members are encouraged to try to do at least a thread or two per filming block, but you won’t be penalized if you’re not able to!
HOUSE INFORMATION | ROOMMATE INFORMATION
FOR MAIN CAST:
Shoot Week One & Two (Dec. 15 - 28):
On December 16 (at a time not conflicting with ISAC filming for applicable muses) , the cast members of each house will film the music video for a cast Christmas song with them singing the song in their respective cast house with their own house mates (like the linked music video, but interacting with the cameraperson around their assigned house) and in front of red and green colored backdrops. This means there will be two versions of both the song and music video: one for each house. Both videos will be released on December 23 as a promotion for Shared Home. Assume the song was recorded earlier around individual muse’s availability. There is no official canon line distribution for this song, but assume each muse recorded for the parts matching their position or soloist type and each muse gets at least one line in the final song with main positions and soloists generally getting more than sub-positions.
From December 22 through the end of filming, each house will be decked out in winter decorations. This will include a (fake) Christmas tree through December 31, at which point the tree will be removed from the house, though the general winter decorations with remain. The base of the decorations, including the Christmas tree, have been put up by production, but cast members are free to add additional decorations to their house.
During the shoot week of December 22 to December 28, cast members will have chance to have their family meet their housemates. All cast members with a parent or parents or other close relative (grandparent(s), aunt/uncle, siblings, etc.) living in Korea will have an optional invitation extended to have said relative visit the house with transportation paid for by production if necessary. The cast member will be aware if their family is coming at least a week beforehand, but the time will be kept secret to keep an element of surprise. For cast members with relatives living in Asia, but outside of Korea, the production budget will pay for up to two round trip economy class plane tickets to surprise a cast member. Cast members without any close relatives or without any close relatives within Asia will not be offered this chance, but are expected to be cordial to their house mates’ relatives if applicable. The invitation is free to be declined by the relative(s), though production will encourage their participation for the feel good content for the show.
Shoot Week Three (Dec. 29 - Jan. 4):
House One Only: On December 29th, all main cast members of House One who do not have other schedules will be filmed attending Lipstick’s Prima Donna encore concert at Olympic Gymnastics Stadium to support cast mate Minnie. Tickets in the VIP section and backstage passes have been arranged for all House One cast members free of charge through an agreement between BC Entertainment and SBS.
House Two Only: On December 29th, all main cast members of House Two who do not have other schedules will be filmed attending BEE’s Winter Party concert to support cast mate Jiah. Tickets in the VIP section and backstage passes have been arranged for all House Two cast members free of charge through an agreement between BC Entertainment and SBS.
On January 2, the two houses will throw a two part New Year’s party. This time, instead of decorating for their own party, each house will be tasked with going out and buying decorations for the other house. They will then be given two hours total on January 2 to decorate the other house while the other house’s residents are decorating theirs. Humorous results by way of tacky or comedic decorations are anticipated, but cast members may choose to play nice, too.
The party will begin at 9PM at House One before the whole cast and cameo guests move to House Two at 10:30PM to discover the decorations there as well and continue the party. Cameo guests still around will be asked to leave around midnight. This party will be less formal than the housewarming party during the first week of filming, in a way the producers hope will demonstrate the increased comfort between house mates. There will be wine and champagne available during the party in the spirit of the new year for cast members who would like it, but each cast member will be limited to one glass and production will intercede with anyone who tries to go overboard.
Shoot Week Four (Jan. 5 - 11):
The final week of filming is set to be a warm and sentimental one. On January 7, 9, and 10, different arrangements of volunteers (mixing those from both houses as well as cameo guests) will be tasked with delivering coal briquettes around neighborhoods outside of their own in need of them.
Cast members will also be tasked with writing a farewell letter to their house mates at the beginning of this week that they should complete and pin to a cork board in the kitchen for their house mates to read by the end of the week. They will be filmed on their own reading the letter to the camera, which will likely be used as narration, but they are not required to read the letter directly to their house mates themselves unless they wish to.
The last task the cast members will be given will be to show at least one of their housemates (though more is encouraged) a place or activity close to their heart. A dancer might take their housemate(s) to the dance studio to film a segment or someone who has fond memories of visiting Everland as a kid may take their housemate(s) there. The only places explicitly off limits are locations that are not family friendly and, in order to maintain the concept of everyone being house mates, the cast member’s house or dorm are also off limits. Each cast member will film a short solo visit to said location or doing said activity before taking anyone there.
POINTS AVAILABLE FOR MAIN CAST: 17 points
+2 points (up to 10 points total) - INTERACTIONS: A thread taking place during this filming block with a starter and at least three replies (starter ▻ partner reply  ▻ op reply  ▻ partner reply) by the end of the three week filming period is worth 2 points. This is valid for up to five threads with different muses.
+3 points - SOLO: Writing a self-para of 400+ words taking place at any point during this filming block by the deadline is worth 3 points.
+2 points - SOLO: Writing a farewell letter of 200+ words from the perspective of your muse to their housemates by the deadline is worth 2 points.
+2 points - INTERVIEW: Answering this short interview (during filming week three) in-character is worth 2 points. These will be filmed in an area set off to the side of each house to be filmed with the cast members speaking directly to the camera about their feelings.
None of these will count toward your monthly limits for anything and must be completed and posted in the #fmdsh3 tag by Saturday, January 18 at 11:59PM EST to qualify for points.
FOR NON-MAIN CAST (CAMEO APPEARANCES):
Idols not in the main cast of the show will have a variety of opportunities to appear on-camera for this filming block. The following prompts explain each opportunity.
Opportunity One
Your muse has been requested to make an appearance during the New Year’s party on January 2 during the third shoot week. Details of the party can be found above in the shoot week three section of the main cast’s schedule. The party will go from 9PM to midnight, but guests will not be expected to be there the whole time like the main cast is. Like the main cast, each guest will be limited to one glass of champagne or wine if they choose to drink to avoid anyone getting too messy and production will intercede with anyone who tries to go overboard.
Opportunity Two
Your muse has been requested to make an appearance during the fourth shoot week filming of delivering coal briquettes to give back. Details of this can be found above in the shoot week four section of the main cast’s schedule. Cameos may help out volunteering as many days as they (or their management) would like and as their schedule allows.
Opportunity Three
Your muse has been requested to help film promotional content for the show. This will have been filmed or recorded some time from December 15 - 21. Your muse has been asked to record themselves doing one of the two following options in either audio or video format:
Covering a (family-friendly) snippet of a Christmas or New Year’s song of their choice (this can be a vocal/rap cover or an instrumental cover).
Giving an answer to the question of what “home” means to them.
These recordings will be used to overlay teaser compilations for upcoming episodes of the show to draw in the attention of fans of idols that may not be in the main cast of the show.
POINTS AVAILABLE FOR CAMEOS: 15 points
+2 points (up to 10 points total) - INTERACTIONS: A thread taking place either during the New Year’s Party,or during coal briquette delivery volunteering with a starter and at least three replies (starter ▻ partner reply  ▻ op reply  ▻ partner reply) by the end of the three week filming period is worth 2 points. This is valid for up to five threads with different muses (muses don’t have to be main cast).
+3 points - SOLO: Completing the above holiday cover or “home” prompt in a self-para of 400+ words by the deadline is worth 3 points. (The “home” prompt does not have to be 400+ words answering what home means to them. It can also include them getting ready to record their answer.)
+2 points - INTERVIEW: Answering this short interview in-character is worth 2 points. This will be filmed in their company building during filming week four.
None of these will count toward your monthly limits for anything and must be completed and posted in the #fmdsh3 tag by Saturday, January 18 at 11:59PM EST to qualify for points.

Filming for the first filming block (episodes one through four) of Shared Home has begun! Below, you’ll find the house and room arrangements and the tasks for the next three weeks. The first four episodes will revolve around the main cast moving in, meeting their housemates, and getting comfortable in their new home.
Please note that this post is quite long, but it is divided into information for the main cast and information for muses not in the main cast, so that you can find the information most pertinent to your muse(s).
Note: While the initial ongoing event announcement post stated there would be new filming blocks every two weeks, in order to give members more time to complete tasks, they’ve been changed to every three weeks.
As always for events, please don’t feel pressured to complete more than you’re able to. Main cast members are encouraged to try to do at least a thread or two per filming block, but you won’t be penalized if you’re not able to!
FOR MAIN CAST:
Out of character, no one had to be cut and all muses who completed both required steps were included in the main cast! In character within the universe of the roleplay, the cast was meticulously chosen and cut down from a large batch of applicants to be on the show.

Before shooting begins, each participant will sign the contract for the show and be provided with a few basic rules of living in the house. These rules will not be able to be broken as production will always be present or nearby and monitoring the set whenever cast members are in the house.
Pets of any kind are not allowed on the house premises.
Cast members are not allowed to obscure or otherwise impede the filming of the stationary cameras mounted throughout all rooms of the house excluding the bathrooms.
Cast members are not allowed to engage in illegal activities of any sort on the premises of the house. Such activities will be immediately reported to the authorities.
Dating and other such activities are not to happen on the premises of the house while filming.
Guests to the house are not permitted to stay overnight unless production specifically requests them to.
Shoot Week One:
At some point from November 2 to 7, all cast members for the main cast will have their first day of filming. This will be a solo shoot of them packing in their current residence for the “move” into their new home. While they’ll not be living in the house full time, cast members are expected to pack and bring things with them to make their living quarters for the show feel like home. One producer and a small camera crew will be present for this shoot.
Shoot Week Two:
On November 10, all cast members will arrive at their assigned house. They will arrive in the order listed above of the main cast in each house. This will involve a small filming crew and the cast members will meet and mingle with the others in their house. They will not yet know their room assignments.
Once everyone is in their respective house, they will be told by the producers they will having a meal together with the rest of their housemates for their first night to meet each other. Cast members will then get to work cooking in the house’s large kitchen. Cast members most insecure in their cooking abilities will be tasked with either pairing up with another bad cook, helping a more experienced cook, or setting the table. Cast members most comfortable with cooking are permitted to take the lead on figuring out the menu with the items available in the fully-stocked kitchen.
The cast will eat the dinner that was prepared all together. They will be filmed talking and will be prompted to discuss their concerns and hopes for living with the others. After dinner, they will each be given a card with a number on it from production. This card will correspond to the number on one of the bedroom doors in the house, and this is the room they’ll be staying in. At this point, cast members will move their things into their rooms and meet their roommates and ideally begin to get to know them. This will all be filmed and cast members will spend their first night sleeping over in the house. The next day, cast members are allowed to freely interact for the whole day (with some nudging from production for interesting interactions when necessary) and get to know each other better within the confines of the house. Filming will end at 11PM on November 11. As this is a day without music show filming, the only cast members allowed to leave will be CHARM‘s Sunny, who will leave mid-afternoon to attend CHARM’s comeback showcase.
Cast members may also be requested to stay at the house to film on the 13th through the 16th to get additional footage of interactions.
Shoot Week Three:
This is the shoot week that will take up the majority of the first four episodes. From November 18 to November 22, all cast members will be staying in their respective house (some may need to leave here and there for schedules) with the mission of planning a housewarming party in four days. Housemates will need to work together to create a menu, decorate the house, decide how they’ll entertain guests, and make a guest list. Filming for this segment will take place both within the house and out and about, where housemates will go out in pairs or small groups to purchase necessary items for the housewarming party on a limited budget provided by production. This whole process will be filmed in addition to more daily interactions around the house.
On November 22, the housewarming party will be held and filmed. House One’s housewarming party will take place from 9AM to 1PM and House Two’s housewarming party will take place from 8PM to midnight. Main cast will be required to attend the housewarming party of the other house, and special guests (non-main cast muses who attend) will be present as well. Both parties will be filmed in their entirety, though the larger number of bodies in the house will mean a lot of footage is obtained from stationary cameras set up throughout the house. The schedule for the housewarming parties is specifically negotiated not to interfere with idols performing on Music Bank that day.
POINTS AVAILABLE FOR MAIN CAST: 15 points
+2 points (up to 10 points total) - INTERACTIONS: A thread taking place during this filming block with a starter and at least three replies (starter ▻ partner reply  ▻ op reply  ▻ partner reply) by the end of the three week filming period is worth 2 points. This is valid for up to five threads with different muses (muses don’t have to be main cast or in the same house due to the housewarming parties).
+3 points - SOLO: Writing a self-para taking place at any point during this filming block by the end of the three week filming period is worth 3 points. (The shoot week one solo filming is a good fit for this, but not required!)
+2 points - INTERVIEW: Answering these short interviews (one after filming week one and one after filming week three) in-character is worth 2 points. These will be filmed in an area set off to the side of each house to be filmed with the cast members speaking directly to the camera about their feelings. These can be completed either as two short separate posts or put into one post depending on your preferred method, but both sections of the main cast interview must be completed to earn any points!
None of these will count toward your monthly limits for anything and must be completed and posted in the #fmdsh1 tag by Saturday, November 23 at 11:59PM EST to qualify for points.
FOR NON-MAIN CAST (CAMEO APPEARANCES):
Idols not in the main cast of the show will have a variety of opportunities to appear on-camera for this filming block. The following prompts explain each opportunity.
Opportunity One
Your muse has been requested to attend at least one of the housewarming parties on November 22, either by production or the housemates themselves (though all requests for appearance will be implied as a request from both). Management has chosen to have this opportunity added to your muse’s schedule and they will attend House One’s housewarming party (9AM to 1PM) and/or House Two’s housewarming party (8PM to midnight). Your muse has been requested to make an appearance at either one or both parties, but they will not be staying for the whole time at either so that guests can cycle in and out in order to keep the house from getting too packed.
Opportunity Two
Your muse has been requested to bring a gift to the housewarming party/parties in addition to bringing themselves. Typical housewarming gifts include items like baked goods, candles, plants, blankets or towels, art, etc., but your muse is allowed to think out of the box too, or even personalize a gift to a friend they may have in the cast. A good gift can steal the show as much as any main cast member and earn a buzz-worthy cameo, but a less exciting one is sure to still be appreciated.
Opportunity Three
Your muse has been requested to film a short interview for footage that may be used to help narrate the show as special celebrity guest commentary appearances.
POINTS AVAILABLE FOR CAMEOS: 15 points

Filming for the second filming block (episodes five through eight) of Shared Home has begun! Below, you’ll find the tasks for the next three weeks. These four episodes will revolve around the main cast getting into a routine in their new home, getting used to the neighborhood their houses are located in, and forming stronger friendships with their housemates.
Please note that this post is quite long, but it is divided into information for the main cast and information for muses not in the main cast, so that you can find the information most pertinent to your muse(s).
Additional note: Shared Home will begin airing on SBS during this filming block. The show will air one episode a week on Sunday nights beginning on December 8. Cast members are allowed to share photos and posts on social media about the show beginning then, but since the show will be airing several weeks behind filming, they are not allowed to post any content that will spoil details of the events of the show.
Shoot Week One:
For the week of November 24th to November 30th, all main cast members will be requested to stay in their respective house when their schedules allow. During this time, footage will be taken mainly from the stationary cameras with an emphasis on getting clips of the cast members continuing to get to know each other and adjusting to the house.
During this week, the cast members will also be assigned by production to make a schedule for cast members to complete chores like cleaning the house, doing laundry, and grocery shopping for everyone else in the house. These schedules are up to the cast members for the most part (some producer meddling may be done to put cast members together who they’ve noticed provide interesting interactions or have yet to interact much), but will be encouraged to be assigned mostly in groups of two or three to complete chores together instead of being assigned to individuals.
Each cast member is also expected to be in charge of preparing at least one meal for the entire house during this three week filming block. Unlike the full house preparing dinner together, this meal is expected to be completed mostly on their own in order to showcase either the cast member’s cooking skills or to provide entertainment in the form of their attempt to cook. If necessary, they’ll be permitted to seek help from others in small amounts for on-camera interaction, but should generally take on the task independently.
There will be a few occasions of filming in small groups outside of the house for shopping for groceries and other necessities, or for walks out in the private neighborhood surrounding their house in small groups for a change in scenery of interaction.
Shoot Week Two:
From December 1st to 7th, all main cast members are contractually obligated to spend at least 20 hours in their house for filming as it works around their schedules for the week. This may be done all at once or spread out over multiple days. They may choose to stay longer than that if they would like to and/or if they would like a larger chance at screen time. The producers will grow a liking to those who show initiative to spend more time in the house, as well, which can lead to a particularly positive edit in the final cut of the show. Both this week and the next, they will continue to be expected to complete the chore schedules and individual meal preparation as assigned the prior week.
The main focus of this week, though, will be on further cast bonding, this time outside of the house and even with the members of the other house. Two nights and two days this week, there will be a filming outside of the house at a nearby social location as follows. These activities will combine cast members from both houses. Each cast member is required to attend at least one, but can choose to attend as many as their schedule allows.
December 1st: Bowling night.
December 3rd: Picnic (during the day at a nearby park).
December 5th: Noraebang night. - Groups with conflicting schedules: Unity.
December 7th: Group Taekkyeon lesson (during the day). - Groups with conflicting schedules: Knight, CHARM, Unity.
Shoot Week Three:
On the 10th, all cast members of both houses will get together at House One for a viewing party of the first episode of Shared Home. This will be filmed and condensed to air in episode seven.
The other main shoot of this week will comprise most of episodes seven and eight. For these episodes, the main cast of both houses will take a trip to the Seongbuk European Christmas Market [visual references: 1, 2] (admin note: please ignore the dates on this poster as they’ve been changed for in-’verse convenience) in the Seongbuk Stream Fountain Square in the neighborhood in which both houses are located. The market is hosted by the Seongbuk Global Village Center and sponsored by several European embassies with the large presence of foreign residents in the area taken into consideration. The goal of the market is to give European residents of the surrounding area a taste of home and introduce Korean residents to different cultural holiday traditions and features booths with authentic gifts, food and drink, and holiday decorations from Spain, Bulgaria, Poland, France, Switzerland, Georgia, Czech Reoublic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Romania, Finland, Belgium, Germany, and Ukraine.
Also available in or near the market are stages of Christmas carol and European popular music performances, Santa costume and dance contests, a station to “write a letter to Santa Claus” (mostly targeted toward children, but could provide cute moments for the cameras), a large decorated Christmas tree, and an outdoor ice skating rink. In the nearby Grand Hilton Hotel, there’s more food available as well as a gingerbread house auction.
Tickets to the market will be paid for and provided by production and ₩30,000 will be provided to each cast member for them to make purchases at the market. Additional purchases beyond that small budget will need to be bought with their own money.
All main cast will be required to attend at least one of two dates (December 13th or 14th) of the market. The market is open from 12PM to 10PM both days and production will have a bus coming and going from the market at two hour intervals throughout the day to accommodate when idols can arrive and when they need to leave. All cast members will be mic’d during filming, but they will have a short time to explore the village off-mic and off-camera in the first hour as well as the final hour of the market both days if they are there while production sets up and then packs up everything. All footage will be filmed by a camera crew.
This is valid for up to five threads with different muses.
+3 points - SOLO: Writing a self-para taking place at any point during this filming block by the end of the three week filming period is worth 3 points.
+2 points - INTERVIEW: Answering this short interview (after filming week three) in-character is worth 2 points. These will be filmed in an area set off to the side of each house to be filmed with the cast members speaking directly to the camera about their feelings.
None of these will count toward your monthly limits for anything and must be completed and posted in the #fmdsh2 tag by Saturday, December 21 at 11:59PM EST to qualify for points.
FOR NON-MAIN CAST (CAMEO APPEARANCES):
Idols not in the main cast of the show will have a variety of opportunities to appear on-camera for this filming block. The following prompts explain each opportunity.
Opportunity One
Your muse has been requested to make a cameo appearance as a guest visiting the house. This will most likely be to share a meal with the main cast and possibly one or two other guests or to visit label mates who are in the house and will be dictated by production. This cameo, as all cameos, will pay in potential screen time as well as a paycheck for their time.
Opportunity Two
Your muse has been requested to “mail” one (or both) of the houses either a care package and/or a holiday greeting. This will not actually be placed in the mail en route to the house, but will instead be given to production and delivered to the house(s) at certain intervals and framed as though it arrived by post. This specific cameo will lead to a mention of the idol and not an actual additional appearance for filming on the show.
Similar to last filming block’s housewarming gift, this will be a gift to the cast of one or both houses, but the options for what this can consist of are even broader. Food, living necessities, and luxuries are all welcomed in the spirit of a traditional care package, but again, creativity will be rewarded by the producers. Your muse has more room to get humorous with this than they did with their housewarming gift and could even do some comedic self promo by slipping in a copy of their latest album or a framed picture of themselves. On the other hand, to show a thoughtful image, they could get sentimental and show their care for concerns they may know a cast member might be struggling with in their new home. If your muse chooses to take the angle of a holiday greeting, this could be a wrapped holiday gift, a holiday card, or even a heartfelt (or seemingly heartfelt) letter to one or more members of the cast. Anything goes as long as it vaguely fits within the theme of care package or holiday greeting and is appropriate and avoids causing scandal.
A limited budget will be provided for muses “chosen” for this opportunity, but they are welcome to go beyond that budget and spend their own money if they’d like. Muses should also keep in mind the “mail” concept of this opportunity and keep the size, weight, and urgency of any item reasonable within those parameters.
Opportunity Three
Your muse has been requested to make an appearance during the third shoot week filming at the Seongbuk European Christmas Market. Please see information about the market above in the main cast’s shoot week three for full details. Tickets will also be provided for cameos by production and cameos have the similar option to attend December 13th or 14th, or both days at any point from 12PM to 10PM, but cameos will not be provided a monetary budget by the cast and must make any additional purchases with their own money. All cameos will be mic’d during filming, but before and after their assigned filming slot, they may explore the village off-mic and off-camera.
POINTS AVAILABLE FOR CAMEOS: 15 points
+2 points (up to 10 points total) - INTERACTIONS: A thread taking place either on a visit to a house or during the Seongbuk European Christmas Market visit with a starter and at least three replies (starter ▻ partner reply  ▻ op reply  ▻ partner reply) by the end of the three week filming period is worth 2 points. This is valid for up to five threads with different muses (muses don’t have to be main cast).
+3 points - SOLO: Completing the above care package or holiday greeting prompt in a self-para or headcanon of 400+ words by the end of the three week filming period is worth 3 points.
+2 points - INTERVIEW: Answering this short interview in-character is worth 2 points. This will be filmed in their company building after the end of filming week three.
None of these will count toward your monthly limits for anything and must be completed and posted in the #fmdsh2 tag by Saturday, December 21 at 11:59PM EST to qualify for points.

Unfortunately, my absence last week means the last block of the ongoing Shared Home event may not be ready to be posted this week as it was planned to be in order for me to prioritize catching up on more urgent items. This means I’m going to extend the deadline by a week to Saturday, December 21 at 11:59PM EST and the final block will be posted on December 22 so that the final tasks don’t suffer in clarity because they’re written in a rush. I also know some members are taking exams right now, so hopefully, that will give a chance for anyone busy with school to participate in this block more, too!
Also, a small note, because I realized it’s something I may need to mention, there are plans to incorporate Lipstick’s and BEE’s December 29 concerts into the third block of filming for the main cast, so it would be best that the main cast members (who aren’t a part of one of those two groups, since Lipstick and BEE group members obviously have to be present regardless and this doesn’t affect the basic schedule for them) avoid writing their muse attending the concert yet if they had plans to, since they’ll be given context for attending the concert for Shared Home!

hungry / duri & kami
the first night had been a surprising one. it was safe to say that kami knew most of the faces, or the group's at least if someone mentioned tthe name. there were some friends ( thankfully ) and some who she wished wasn't there, she wondered why the world hated her. but it wasn't horrible and kami could settle for that, it was a chance to promote herself. the main thing she was looking forward too. the first night had passed and now it was time for the first morning. she was up early, hungry and wanting to see what else they had. it wasn't often she cooked ( she was way to busy now. ) but this was a chance to really flex her skill.
it was oblivious her first stop would be the kitchen. and so far, it looked like there wasn't anyone up yet. not that she saw at least. until kami actually walked into the kitchen, bumping right into duri. but he was a friend and she was much more relaxed. "oh, hey, sorry and morning." she turned her head to yawn and headed towards the fridge. "so, how are you feeling? i'm surprised they went for the co-ed route." it just didn't seem like the best idea or maybe it was for rating. "aren't you hungry? i'm hungry."

camera, action / jiah & kami
it had been one of the worst feelings to come over her. that was kami's first thought when she saw jiah. this wasn't happening, not right now and not after all the other public she faced the past few days. but the longer jiah was there, the longer kami realized it was real and then she formed a new plan. just avoid the girl, while making it as natural as possible. it was easy enough though, when they had been given the challenge of cooking. kami opted for it and kept herself busy cooking.
but a quick trip to the bathroom, made her realize something. she shouldn't have went to the bathroom. everyone had found a place and there was only one place left for her. right next to jiah. fate really, really hated her. there wasn't much she could do without drawing attention. there was only one choice, sit next to her. that was done as natural as possible too, flashing a smile at jiah. one that was fully for the camera's and the both of them knew it.
"the food looks good." a off-hand comment, something short and sweet and would make for a boring soundbite. but it was short and sweet and didn't require too much emotion in her tone.

shared home 3 interview
Tumblr media
How has your experience on the show been? What memory of the show stands out to you the most?
"this was a lot of fun, i was reminder about my dorm days...it's been a while." she smiled, looking away from the camera for a bit. "we made a lot of fun memories, it's hard to just pick one but i think it was cooking a meal for the group, i had the most fun doing that, it was like being with a big family."
What have you learned from living in your Shared Home?
"i think i learned a lot, mainly how to how live with people again." kami giggled after that, a real smile on her face. "it also made me realize that i shouldn't be adverse to having people around, i think i'm going to be lonely when i go back home."
What place or activity close to your heart did you choose to share with your housemate(s)?
"i chose to share a food stall i go to a lot." even now, after she debuted it was still a place she went. "i went when i was happy and sad and angry. i feel like i spent my life there...so it's a place i really wanted to share." it might have been a little boring to some but it was an important place to her.
What was seeing your relative(s) for the holidays in your house for the show like?
this was something she was able to answer with ease. "it was a lot of fun, i don't think my parents have been around that many idols before." in fact, she kept her idol life away from her personal life a lot. "it was heart warming to see them during the holidays, it made them happy so i'm happy."

shared house 1st interview
Tumblr media
After filming block one (before moving in):
Who are some idols you would like to end up rooming with, either because you’re friends already or because you’d like to get to know them better?
kami paused, this was an easy enough question to answer and it was something to get her going. "for one, alice. i'd love to room with alice." anyone would know by now, alice was the one idol friend she promoted most openly and even in the background, kami doted on the girl. "i'd also like to room with minhee...hmm, i think a few of the younger girls? they're all really cute." she grinned a little after her comment.
"but i know i'll be more comfortable with older girls because we've promoted along side each other." an easy way to name a few people and not give much at the same time. "i tend to be a loner so i think this will help me open up more so i'm looking forward to meeting anyone."
What is one essential item you are bringing with you?
this was also an easy question and she perked up. "my laptop! i know it sounds a little silly but i'm always working on music. it's a huge part of my life so this way so i have to bring it with me." there was also another upside.
"i'll also be around idols more than ever. i think if there is any common interest point, it'll be music. hopefully, i can connect with somone through music and it'll be a little easier living together."
half of it was true and half of was just fluff for her image. every word had to be chosen carefully because she wasn't sure how they would edit it. she didn't need to be a stand-out star, just attract one more person of interest. someone that would follow her after the show.
After filming block three:
How has living in the house been so far?
it seemed rather funny that question was coming now, she felt like she still needed time to flesh it out. or maybe time was passing quickly and she couldn't keep up. "it's been fun, i did know most of the idols from promoting together and i'm also with a few friends." it worked out in the end. and she wouldn't dare mention being around someone she didn't like.
it would be ending her own career.
"i really enjoyed cooking for a lot of people. i tend to work a lot so i won't cook for myself but here i have the time to do it." now that was true and you could see, a topic she would was invested in.
"ah, the house is good too. so far, it looks like everyone is getting alone and i'm still opening up myself a little more...so...so, far so good."
What troubles have you had with adjusting to the house or with preparing for the housewarming party?
now that was a little expected and honestly kami didn't have an answer for it. not a real one anyway. she wouldn't give up the damaging info. still, it was a question she was sure would come up.
"being loud, when i'm alone i'm loud and i was loud when we were in the dorm." true enough, the only lie was her being worried about it. she was loud. "i'm adjusting to everyone around me so i'm trying hard not to get carried away." a little less fluff but still something for them to air.
"i'm working hard to adjust more so please look forward to me."

fmdsharedhome 3 self - para. when: december 29 2019. where: at lipstick’s prima donna tour encore concert, olympics gymnastics stadium, seoul. word count: 485.
it’s been a strangely difficult past few days for minhee. seeing and meeting everyone from the shared home’s family and friends has been nice, but it stings a little that she didn’t have anyone coming.
her parents aren’t even coming to this concert tonight. they do love her, minhee is almost positive that they do. her father does, anyways. they’ve become closer ever since she adopted mouse. her mother never allowed pets in the house, so he takes full advantage of any opportunity to cat-sit for her. that’s where he is tonight, propping his feet up in minhee’s living room, mouse curled up in a little ginger croissant shape on the arm of the chair next to him. her mother? she has no excuse to not come.
she just plain doesn’t want to.
even after all these years, it still breaks minhee’s heart a little. she’d called her mother as soon as the familial element was brought up to the cast, extending her the invitation excitedly down the phone, only to be met with a stern humming noise before her dreams were swiftly crushed yet again. she sits back on the dressing room couch and pinches the bridge of her nose as she squeezes her eyes tight shut. better not to think about that stuff. it’s never going to change. minhee just has to focus on the good - her improving relationship with her dad, her flourishing solo career.
there’s a knock at her door. minhee gets to her feet and quickly checks herself in the mirror, plastering on a big fat smile. she guesses it’s probably staff and housemates from the shared home. sure, they’re all getting paid to be there, but nevertheless, she’s glad to see their faces when she opens the door.
“come in, come in!”
it makes for a cute moment. minhee hugs everyone, thanking them gratefully for coming to support her. she asks what songs they’re most excited for, and assures them that she’ll do her best on the stage. then, as fast as they arrived, they’re being ushered away again. with her heart feeling a little bit lighter, minhee uses her last few minutes of downtime to track down hyeju or sowon or yoonah, or any of her fellow lipstick members. the visit from her castmates reminded her that she doesn’t have to be by herself.
later on, during the closing mentions of the show, minhee waves out to the crowd. “hello everyone! thank you so much for coming to our encore show.” she pauses, giving the crowd time to cheer. “tomorrow’s my birthday, but you knew that, right?” minhee leans towards the audience, cupping her ear to hear their response. she smiles at their cries, clapping her hands together. “right! thank you to all our vanity, we’ll see you again soon! and to my castmates from shared home, thank you for coming! this is the best birthday ever!”

minhee’s main cast interviews for fmdsharedhome.
after filming block one ( before moving in ) :
who are some idols you would like to end up rooming with, either because you’re friends already or because you’d like to get to know them better?
minhee thinks for a second, stroking her chin comically. “hm... maybe other groups’ maknaes - wish’s @fmdsooyeon, fuse’s @alicefmd, bee’s @fmdalyssia, people like that. i think it would be a cute concept! i’m already close with the three i named already, but i would like to get closer to others too, like femme fatale’s @fmdhyejung, who i don’t get to see often nowadays.”
what is one essential item you are bringing with you?
“i can’t bring my cat... so i’m bringing a framed photo of her!” and she has it in her lap, ready to produce for the camera. there were plenty of other necessities she could have used to answer this question but the rather unphotogenic photo of mouse sleepign is the one she considers of the utmost importance. “this is mouse! i’ll be placing her in the living room, for everyone to see!”
after filming block three:
how has living in the house been so far?
“fun!” minhee says with an affirmative nod of her head. she has to pretend that she’s been here a lot more than she actually has, but at this stage in her career, that’s easy for her. “i’ve discovered that i’ve missed having roommates. and it’s been really nice to get to know everyone better. i’m rooming with youngjoo and juliet, and they’re both lovely.”
what troubles have you had with adjusting to the house or with preparing for the housewarming party?
her cheeks light up red, totally honestly as she thinks about the mess she’s accumulated in the short amount of time she’s spent in the house. “well, i’m not very tidy. it’s been tough adjusting to having only a third of a room instead of a whole apartment for my things. i definitely brought too much with me.”
