I keep seeing people talking about how the looting and the aggressive protests are wrong;

But the looting I feel is warranted.

From how much large businesses,

Renters,

Politicians take from us.

All the money that was supposed to bail out the people

was used to bail out the rich.

The rich who have more than any of us will make in a life time.

I also feel the lynch mob is completely warranted, no question.

As the public we would like to see the pound of flesh owed by the police

but this is a long time coming.

For all the people who have died from police brutality,

lack of health care,

all the people working full time

but homeless because we're underpaid,

over worked.

everything is overpriced.

All the people who are the product of their environment

going into drugs and gangs because we need to take care of our own

because no one else will.

The people who signed up to protect the public only care about themselves

and use a facade of justice and hope to project that they are still the good guys

even when they protect murderers

and rapists

and racists

and just monsters who take their power and violate everything they can with it.

It pisses me off.

I'm fucking livid that a couple cops can go to a playground

and open fire on a 12 year old colour boy and still get away with it.

I'm fucking fuming that cops will take the easy way out

and rather put an innocent man in jail

For second degree murder of a child

who's autopsy report said the cause of death was an accident

than do their fucking job

and some pretty fucking obvious deduction skills

that clearly the mom did it

but no

that's too much work for power hungry bastards like them.

I'm appalled that a man can kill another man

be caught on video

and get a lighter sentence than my friend who was wrongly accused of murder.

I'm angry that I've been screaming about how angry I'm am for fucking years.

I'm angry my voice is hoarse.

I'm angry

and I don't understand how someone can look at another person

and consider their lives somehow less.

Whether it's because of the colour of their skin,

the way they live,

where they were born,

how much money they make.

I don't understand the people who can look at this and say "we are all considered equal".

We're not.

There's a glass ceiling

and it's not just for women or people of colour.

It's for the poor.

To keep us in servitude.

I don't know what people expect,

when someone is pushed down so often it only takes time before eventually they push back.

We learned that with bullying and in history. It's a classic story.

People abused and oppressed will eventually kill their oppressors.

It even happens with animals.

I just dont understand how we're still in this position hundreds of years later.

Not just in america but in the world.

The settlers who stole this land got out of oppression only to become the oppressors.

How do people not see the viscous cycle?

How can they turn a blind eye and live with themselves?

How do they sleep at night with all these ghosts?
