I don't usually share my failtopia headcanons but. thinking a lot about the idea that maybe Erica didn't get close to anyone because she feared they would die on her but Bo also avoided getting truly personal with anyone knowing that, as a ghost, she would live eons longer than them, and like 70 years post failtopia Erica would die in Bo's arms in their home, but she would now still have to live countless more centuries forever without the one person she allowed herself to get close to

since bo and mar are immortal (maybe friends but that debatable)

Millions of years later, they become sassy old ladies who just chill at your local cafe talking smack

could they be the greatest adventures the world has ever seen? they already did a few decades ago; use their knowledge of the past to update a heck of a ton of text books? already did that

imagine if gossiping old ladies had dirt on your entire family tree, that's theem.

I’ve always imagined that Bo and Mar don’t talk all that much after they’ve both outlived the rest of the party, but every time they do meet up, shit’s about to go down. They already bitched about the rest of The Incident together, now they can bitch about everyone on the island, and then their descendants.

This is one reason they don’t talk all that much, though. It’s been a long time since they’ve made it through a single conversation without painfully reminding each other of what they’ve lost, just by existing near them.

The Final Fight of Failtopia Season 2

This thing is always somewhere on my mind, and what better way to get my thoughts out than a sleep-deprived Tumblr text post that only one person will actually read?

Lee's Left Hand - Literally just Shrimp, Orion, and Bill hyping each other up over and over again until the enemy is dead. I don't have all that much to say about this one, but the found family dynamics are impeccable as always! All three of these characters are intensely dedicated to supporting those that surround them, oftentimes through their talents, and the events of the fight are a perfect example of this, even if they're too self-explanatory for me to provide any insight on.

Lee's Right Hand - I'm mostly just writing this post to talk about the ending of this one. Chi doesn't have the defence to withstand the blast, because her true class is the Mage, not the Scientist, but she was dedicated enough to follow her passion anyways, and fix her relationship with Erica in the process. This worked wonders, and results in Erica becoming so angry at Chi's fall, for reasons relating to her previous parties' deaths as well as her usual protector instinct for Chi, that she attacks four times in a row and ends the fight, in the coolest way she can. Bo, meanwhile, immediately revives herself twice in just this fight, and gets help from her teammates on her lower damage output, proving that her ghost powers are very much useful, and just as Erica said before, she can literally never die.

Darkest Lord Lee - Chat is a force of nature and shoots everything down upon sight without a hint of strategy, except for all their trademark Cool dodging, perfectly fitting for their usual 'genuinely trying to help, with unnecessarily violent methods'. Failboat isn't in his element, because he still has no idea what the hell is going on at any time, but he has the raw talent and friendships to get him through the fight. Friend carries everyone with their healing and reviving, as always - even when they don't actually need to, they're looking out for their teammate's health. Mar is another good healer, but once he's too slow on the draw to save Chat, he immediately avenges them by taking Lee down with a simple frying pan to the face - the exact same attack to defeat him in the previous final battle. He's taken his awful past, and used it to take down an even greater evil, and the motivation for the attack was entirely selfless.

Of course, every single word of what I just said was entirely coincidental, there's no way to control how an Autobattle plays out - but as Failtopia has shown time and time again, the game is scripted.
