As Brittany had been getting the kids ready for bed she had gotten a bad feeling something was happening with Shadow, she was trying to not show it knowing all the kids would pick up on it and want to help. She had just walked out of the twins’ room and was going to check on Static when her phone rang, making her jump a little as she wasn’t expecting it, she saw who it was and quickly answered it,” hello, are you alright?” She asked.
When there was no answer she kept it on, she told Static she needed him to keep the house locked up and not to answer it for anyone but her with their code phrase and that she would be back. She then grabbed her bag double checked she had everything she keeps stocked in there and left the house,” I’m coming Shadow, hang in there,” she whispered as she ran looking at her phone seeing where her friend was.

Brittany tried to keep her body and mind calm as she looked at him a few shakes slipping out now that he had the gun, it was true that she didn't want to shoot him, after all he was practically another father to her, but the things he had done lately finally got to her, especially when he turned on her.
