@ your ennead post Actually Though 💀 Every time I see a reader get into a fit about the comic depicting rape and/or characters doing bad things, I can’t help but think “Guys, this is the Rape and Characters Doing Bad Things story. What are you doing here. Why are you still here when you’ve demonstrated you don’t like this story?”

And even just story-telling wise, both things are such a central part to Seth’s story. The trauma he suffered, how he lashed out and hurt others, how others hurt him, how he’s dealing with the aftermath and what he chooses to do going forward.

You can’t argue that either should not be in the story, because then it’s clear you just want a different story 😭 Which that’s okay. Ennead is one of many stories out there, but don’t go to a sushi restaurant and complain that they serve raw fish and not fluffy cotton candy.
