a yearning desire. that is what you had felt when you saw that text popped up on your screen. but you never knew what you were longing for in mina text, maybe it was the desire to meet up with your former friends, maybe it was the desire of wanting to introduce miyeon to twice, or maybe just maybe it was her.

"hey!" you were hit to the floor by shuhua, "whatcha thinkin' so hard about?" the maknae questioned.

"I was just wondering if the group wanted to meet a part of twice since i'm already meeting up with some of them," you looked at the maknae on top of you as her eyes lit up.

"DIBS ON TELLING!" she yelled out as she ran back to the other side of the practice room practically shaking soyeon the group the news. you smiled over at the group, before returning your gaze back to your phone back to mina.

A shout from across the room, "HEY, Y/N YOU COMING??" from a low-toned voice grounded back in reality.

if you had to describe MAMA in one word it would be crazy. The amount of fellow k-pop stars you saw astounded you, you even got to reconnect with some former JYP trainees like chan(skz), changbin(skz), and chaeyoung (fromis_9). all of you having a mini-reunion backstage. but was interrupted as you turned around and felt someone burning holes in the back of your head. chan being the curious person decided to peek over your shoulder only to find jihyo stopping in the middle of the hallway looking at your group.

him being the nice person that he is decided to wave his senior over not knowing of the history between the two of you. jihyo had looked around making sure that in the deserted hallway, chan had meant her. locking eyes with you as she walked over, your heart had stopped.

but luckily for you, a call was coming in on your phone from soyeon which led to the best excuse to get out of this situation. as you picked up the phone you were met with a slightly annoyed soyeon, "y/n come back, they want us to be on stage in 4 minutes. you also still need to put on your mic," the smaller member huffed out.

"sorry, i'll be back in a minute. just gotta say goodbye, is that ok?" you told the leader.

"fine, one minute Y/N L/N," she said as she hung up.

you turned toward the group as they all look with you with looks of disappointment that the time was cut short ."sorry guys, i have to go perform but i'll catch up with you later," you said as you bowed to the group and bowed to jihyo running back to your dressing room to put on your pack.

your heart beating hard now hands a little bit sweaty from the running, and finally being away from your ex. as you entered your room you saw all of the members all looking pretty as always but a bit nervous. before being swarmed by a crowd of people trying to get you ready in 3 minutes.

until a knock on a door was heard. "G)-IDLE is on in 2 minutes" a voice came from outside as the door was opened. the guide looked at the group gathering all of your group up before being rushed to the stage.

you shook each other to try to kill each other nervousness a bit and did all of your pre-stage rituals of chanting your group's name. then you were all on. you could hear fans chanting the group's name as soojin walked out on the stage. it was on your all of your first performance on the big MAMA stage. you looked up at the shining light on your face and performed as the start of your part of the modified intro to HANN- played.

after the performance, your group shuffled off the stage, as you passed by the familiar faces of twice getting ready. your group marveled at their seniors as you tried to look the opposite way in fear of making eye contact with their leader, while shuhua was hitting your shoulder in shock.

when all of you had gotten to your room, your group went into full-once mode gossiping, admiring, and just gushing over the group shaking you asking you when they would finally meet the group. only to disappoint them by telling them they had to wait until the award show was over.

but a couple hours later, the entire (G)-IDLE group was worn out from the award show but extremely happy that they had won an award. you were in a comfy hoodie when you looked at your phone with a text from mina.

you smiled at the text, but also were terrified by the thought of being confronted by your former friends and ex. nonetheless, you were ready to go. as all of them cheered, when heading to the vending machine not being able to contain their happiness. all of them had stopped when they saw the group bowing to their seniors and twice bowed to them.

the tension was awkward between you and twice. your members could feel it as they huddle up around you to make you feel safer. but you stepped out of their circle twice, as you can see jeongyeon, and nayeon trying to hold back tears.

you opened your arms as your old friends ran into your arms.

"you are a fucking idiot, you know," jeongyeon whispered in your ears while hugging you.

"i agree," you said to the older, smiling to try to prevent the tears which threatened to come down your eyes.

"you know all of us would've understood right?" nayeon said softly as she hugged both you and jeongyeon.

"yea, i know," you said gently.

they both backed away from you. as you faced the biggest boss of them all, jihyo.

"hey," was the single word she had said to break both of your four-year silence. you see a single tear as she smiled from a small distance away rolled down the face you had loved.

"hi," was the simple response you gave as you smiled back.

i’m not really 100% sure myself.

what i assume to know is that an extremely problematic ex-trainee han seo hee has had chat logs leaked, with some including messages of her claiming to have a ‘wishlist’ of male idols. hyunjin was on the list, and as a result, there were rumours flying around of them two having had a one night stand/fling. i can’t actually find the screenshots of the chat logs for those rumours so if anyone can send them please do?

consequently, people sent trucks to the jyp building with hyunjin slander written on them, with some dictating that hyunjin should leave stray kids. i saw something about jype releasing an announcement following this but i can’t find this now? i’m not sure.

Following your dreams and finding love at the same time was something that Yang Jeongin, at a very young age, found very complicated.

Since he was a kid, he knew that his dream was to become a performer, a singer. He dreamed about being on stage dancing and singing with all he had. Jeongin had his plan to become an idol very clear, finishing school with good grades and then making an audition to reach his dreams..

Or at least that was his plan until you came into his life.

You were a pretty young girl that caught Jeongin's attention the moment you entered his class. Pretty eyes, black hair, and that beautifull smile Jeongin loved so much. You started talking to him because your teacher made you sit exactly next to him, everyone was sitting in pairs and that was the only space left. Jeongin through your eyes was a very beautiful boy that had an extremely funny and cute personality. Hi foxy eyes that had an special sparkle every time he looked at you and that smile with braces that made him look ten times more adorable tan he was.

You got along with him pretty good, always working together on the assignments and helping each other when it was needed. He felt for you first, clearly. His heart beating faster every single day he saw you entering the class, the way his body felt when you gave him a hug, or maybe how your smile made his day happier.

Of course you also fell in love with Jeongin, it was almost impossible not to. He was always checking on you, offering you his help with the homework or sharing his food with you. You started noticing his feelings due to he was always watching you in class, sometimes he even put his elbow closer to yours to make some type of contact between you two. He was very bad at hiding it, but you didn't mind to show it. So one day, you decided that it was time to tell the boy about how you felt about him, and so you did.

you and the girls keep practicing this new choreography that you had learned. the song name was “DALLA DALLA” and this was supposed to be the song for your debut. after four long hours of dancing and singing, the time to meet with jeongin had arrived. you took a shower and washed your face, you had sweat a lot due to dancing so you wanted to make sure that you smelled good. after you got out of the shower you dried your hair and straightened it a bit.

the other five girls were searching for your clothes, they choose a cargo pant with a pretty top and the shoes. chae and lia helped you to get your make up done, just putting some mascara, highlighter on the corner of your eyes, and blush while yeji and ryujin were doing your hair. meanwhile, yuna was searching for some perfume to put on.

—your hair is ready— yeji said proudly. her and ryujin had make a pretty braid that made your hair look amazing.

Px: Annyeong! My name is Pixie from straykids, but you may call me Kai. (She waves at the camera and blows it kisses)

Q: What is "For my youth" about?

Px: For my youth... it's a very raw, emotional part of myself. I try and make sure my image before now is the silly kind, I hate seeing anyone in pain or sad, so I don't like showing my emotions other than positive ones.

Px: I never had a good grasp of emotions growing up. My childhood was cut short because of me becoming a trainee, and I was not able to come to terms with my emotions through puberty. While other trainees at least had some semblance of a social life, I was always training or too busy teaching others to actively partake in regular emotional stability.

Px: so in a way, For my Youth is therapy?(She laughs) it's basically a love letter to myself.

Q: Who is the ex you talk about in your songs?

Px: Oh my (she blushes, holding her cheek, embarrassed) he was my first relationship I had. I was fifteen and he was... late into being nineteen?

Px: Don't look at me like that. So many people look at me with pity when I tell them that, and I hate being regarded with pity. (She sighs)

Px: It was... not a good relationship. We fought constantly. We were both jealous of the other's time away. I would be training with Chan and he would get so... angry. I had threatened the girls he was talking to, it was not a fun thing. I felt so.. ugly when I was with him.

Px: He had a massive drinking problem. Some days he would come to the dorm and...(her eyes glossed over at the memory) ...I'd rather not speak of it.

Px: Whenever I was able to have my phone, he would only let me talk to him. He was able to talk to whoever he wanted, but I was lucky if I was even allowed to talk to my mother once a month. The relationship lasted a year and I was only able to talk to my parents... about a collective two times? One during Easter and one during Chuseok.

Px: (she clears her throat) Back then, I was so blinded by love of this... man. He was so sweet one minute, and then he would be violent. I can't tell you how many times he forced himself upon me, that now it's hard to say whether I would be able to have kids (she laughs bitterly) which really sucks because my dream was to be a mother. (She tilts her head back to avoid the tears to fall)

Q: Why did you include a song such as Bullet in For my Youth

Px: Ah, Bullet... it was originally supposed to be a Stray Kids song but we decided not to because of the very dark concept it had. I still have the demo of the us singing it together (she laughs softly)

Px: I wrote it before I joined JYP at thirteen. I was twelve and I really enjoyed listening to bands like MCR and Guns and Roses. It was the time where I would hurt myself, I still have the scars from the time. Not physically but...

Px: The second time I revised it was back in 2022, right after my second attempt. I was so depressed after my parents passing that I didn't even think about the effect it would have on my family and especially my brother. I was very depressed, I think the most I was in my life. I blame myself, y'know. And don't say it wasn't, because they wouldn't have died if that guy wasn't a "fan" of mine.

Px: I think that's the irony of Bullet. The happy tone of me singing shows how us idols, especially women, have to be all happy on the outside while we all have problems.

Q: What is the biggest message you want people to take away from your album?

Px: funny answer or serious answer? (She pauses) serious answer? That you can overcome anything. You are much stronger than you look, and you may be the reason a friend is still with you today. Don't make your past your present, and don't ever make it your future. You are so much more than your past.

"Yeah so I was thinking about having you in my new video, what do you think?" Hyewon asked Eunbi who intently listened to everything she said unlike the black-haired girl who was distracted the whole time.

Yena couldn't focus on anything that was going on around her and the reason for that was her ex-girlfriend Y/N. IZ*ONE members decided to have a reunion at Eunbi's house and everything was going okay for Yena until you came in looking incredibly gorgeous. Ever since then Yena couldn't stop looking at you throughout the night and the fact that you couldn't stop clinging to a certain dancer didn't helped the situation either.

You and Chaeyeon were always close because you met during you trainees days at JYP Entrainment but lately it was definitely different. She didn't realized it when she saw a lot of new photos of you two together but now when she sees it in real life, it kinds of bugs her.

It shouldn't, you two weren't together for 5 months now but somehow she can't help but miss you and yearn to be by your side again.

But how can she when she was the one who first proposed to break up?

This thought was the only thing still keeping her on the couch with Eunbi and Hyewon. But just like everyone, Yena had to reach a certain point before having enough. And that was Chaeyeon kissing you on the cheek before walking away to talk to Sakura.

Yena quickly stood up, walked up to you, grabbed your hand and pulled you into a nearest room. She trapped you against the wall and kissed you hungrily but kept her hold weak in order for you to push her away if you didn't wanted it.

Miyawaki Sakura (LE SSERAFIM, ex. HKT48, IZ*ONE) - Sakura really liked Chichi's work and vice versa, they met through Changbin who knows Chaeyeon (soloist, ex. IZ*ONE, JYP trainee). Since then, they spend a lot of time together (as much as their busy schedules allow). They often play console games and watch dramas together while expanding their Korean vocabulary. Chichi also confessed that she had watched Sakura on stage since HKT48.

Komiyama Haruka (AKB48) - The girls met not long after Haruka confessed in an interview that Chichi was her ideal type. Both are big fans of the "Love Live!" series.

Ushio Sarina (HINATAZAKA46) - The girls met after one of Stray Kids concerts in Japan where Sarina attended. Chichi quickly "fell in love" with her gentle personality, and they have exchanged letters frequently since then, which they both find very cute and more personal. As part of promoting Stray Kids with "Circus", Chichi received a 15-minute segment on Japanese radio, "I Can Say It!", with Sarina as co-host. The program was broadcast twice a week for 2 weeks (4 episodes). During the show, there were many cute interactions between them, which ultimately stole the hearts of fans.

Myoui Mina (TWICE) - The girls obviously know each other from the label. Both are trained in ballet, sometimes spending their free time recalling some choreography. In addition, they often bring each other gifts from Japan whenever one of them is there. Both Mina and Chichi have mentioned multiple times on Bubble that they are currently together - they both always send then a short text message: "🐧🤝🐯".

Song Mingi (ATEEZ) - They became friends during Guerilla choreo making period, where they quickly became the loudest duo, mainly due to their loud laughs. They also often teased each other, to the point that most of their conversations, taken out of context, would have indicated that they hate each other - which only shows how similar their sense of humor is.

Choi San (ATEEZ) - San was the first one to approach Chichi during Kingdom. He then complimented her amazing dancing skills and unimaginable condition. Achieving something similar, he stated, was his goal. Chichi was very touched by his words, and after the show, away from the cameras, they quickly became inseparable. The two often train together. Chichi on one of her vlives confessed that she and San often like to tweak existing choreographies by making them more difficult. They like to feel tired and see how far they can push their limits.

Chan is still single, but it seems like he has finally forgotten his ex. At the moment he is having his fun, seeing people if he wants to, changing, flirting, going out on free times. It feels like Chan needs to be careful not to lose himself in these type of behaviors because his masculine energy is getting quite strong lately

After some arguments with the company, Chan was able to come to a solution for some of his questions for the future of Stray Kids. He is already working on the next album, pondering what needs to be done. He is also taking the decisions by himself tho, and he has faith it will be a huge comeback

Minho

It seems like Minho had his eyes set on someone. At first he was very hesitant with all this since it’s not something he is focused on. However when Minho tried to get to know this person, the person has completely rejected him, in a very harsh way. It has hurt his ego quite a lot

Currently he is stuck on his routine, he is being very careful as well, because there has been rumors going on about him and he doesn’t want it to go out to the public. Minho is being very quiet and focusing on helping his members with the practice and even trainees

Physical Health: Doesn’t sleep well, lot of headaches  Mental Health: His mental health is a whole mess, he is not okay. He feels stuck, like in a prison, his thoughts are encaging him. His anxiety is very high, his anger too, his environment is just beyond toxic and he can’t stand his own reflexion

Changbin

Changbin’s heart is completely close, he has pushed everyone, including his ex away from his life. He wants to be alone and have time to reflect on everything that has been happening on his life at the moment. He misses his family so much, mostly his mother

Career wise, he is very frustrated because he isn’t able to voice his thoughts about what the group is becoming nor the musical style that is currently being chosen. Changbin has been talking a lot with his members and company so he can change a few things

Physical Health: I don’t know what the hell is happening, but Changbin is not okay at all physically.. If JYP doesn’t attend this, I am afraid that it will come out  Mental Health: He feels very frustrated, agitated, nervous but still woking on his self esteem

Hyunjin

I have no idea what’s happening with Hyunjin’s love life. All I can say is that he is very happy at the moment, his crush is responding a lot better to his advances, but they are still not official from what I feel. However he is clinging into it, and he is forcing for it to finally happen

He is following his intuition when it comes to his career, he knows a lot of things are going to happen and very soon. Some changes for his career are coming

Physical Health: Needs to look out for his heart and chest pains, his body feels tired Mental Health: He feels abandoned and misunderstood lately 

Jisung

He is single after all, but still very attached to his last relationship. Jisung is still working on that, still trying to make all that pain go away. He has a hard time, but he will eventually be able to pass through this, since he has good people around him to support him

Career wise, he is drowning himself on work. He tries to keep his thoughts positive and bring to the world out his creativity. Some things were taken away from him, but Jisung is working hard for their next project

Physical Health:Some troubles concerning his urinary system  Mental Health:  Actually working on his stability despite his high anxiety

Felix

It frustrated me, because it seems like Felix isn’t being honest with himself and with people around him. As you all know, he has a crush with whom things are going very well, however Felix hasn’t been honest with them. They talk a lot with each other yes, however he is also seeing someone else in their back. The thing is, this other person has no good intention toward Felix and it’s really upsetting to see him making such dumb mistakes when he has someone that truly cares for him

His work is going very well, he is able to express his ideas and fight for what he wants to show on their next project. Felix is finally finding a balance on his professional life, and I also see he has been earning a lot of money lately

Physical Health: Nothing but he is still not 100% Mental Health:  He has a dependence on his medication (pain medication mostly). Needs to urgently heal his inner child traumas. He is being escapist and agitated

Seungmin

Currently, Seungmin is in a relationship with a very dear friend of his. Things are going very well, they are both extremely balanced on their professional and love life. Seungmin is extremely happy to finally share his heart with someone and he is being hopeful that this going to last

He too had many arguments with the company and the group, since he wanted to voice his opinion about certain topics. It doesn’t seem that he was being heard tho. Seungmin is trying to ignore the bad mouths and the criticism that was done toward his person. He is focusing on helping others with Minho (trainees) so he doesn’t have to think about this own issues

Physical Health: his throat and vocal cords hurt, but also stomach aches and difficulty to breathe  Mental Health: Very exhausted

Jeongin

Jeongin isn’t dating but he is still seeing that one person that is older than him. Things are going very well at the moment, and he is just taking advantage of what he can have through them. Jeongin also keep this relationship a secret/discreet so people won’t be talking of him

I feel like he will be able to have some solo opportunities, something new coming for his career that he has been working on for some time now. At least he was given the opportunity to do his own things and it will bring him a lot of benefice.

Physical Health: Physically he isn’t okay at all, despite the fact that he was been under treatment for strong stomach aches, chest pains and high blood pressure and strong migraines  Mental Health:  X

the reason was simple. you had gotten a good enough score on your CSAT to be able to go to any university you desired. So you had set your heart on attending Seoul National University for a M.D. of psychiatry. Maybe it was your desire to know why jihyo had made the decision to break up with you without your approval, or maybe you just wanted to find another way to make people smile. whatever the case, you still got accepted to SNU program in psychiatry.

psychiatry was fun aside from the endless nights of studying, writing papers, and consuming energy drinks. it was still your first year when you started selling some of your songs to JYP for money and when cube entertainment reached out to you.

she looked at you, knowing that you were a JYP entertainment trainee who probably knew the most, if twice were going to be there. after all, you guys must have been friends. you responded, scratching the back of your neck a little, and tried to say in a nonchalant way "i'm not sure, but they probably will be there since it's MAMA's."

the older nodded and went back on her phone; however, minnie looked at you for a second, taking note of your unusual response to miyeon. then going back onto her phone, you, on the other hand, were sweating buckets, thinking of maybe seeing your ex at the award show. you still haven't unblocked her number, or any of twice for that matter... but then the thought hit you.

it was another tireless day of promotion, and with our schedule being so packed by JYP, i was ready to just straight out pass out on to the bed.  a thought passed by me to check my phone just in case anything important happened or someone texted me. while scrolling through the notifications quickly, something caught my eye, traingle goof , no way. i screamed causing jeongyeon and nayeon to run quickly to me. jeongyeon gave me the good look up and down and nayeon well she was tired and asking what i was screaming about. i showed them the text. "no fucking way," nayeon says while being hit by jeonyeon who didn't see. 

however, the face on jeongyeon face when she saw the message was priceless; her jaw dropped wide open. she grumbled out a reply, "i don't understand why she would contact you out of all people. she wasn't really that close to you."

i understood her logic for thinking that way, and sure, we weren't really close, but we still understood each other. hell, they were closer than i ever was. i walked over to sana, who seemed to have almost just slept, until i shook her a bit and showed her the messages. she shot up almost immediately, asking me in japanese if the message i showed her was fake. she started texting y/n again, asking if she had unblocked her again. no response. then she turned back to me, asking if i could text her. so i typed out a simple response to y/n

no this poll really made me think there is not one more iconic group cube had than beast. they defined the genre. everyone of them is notoriously (in)famous in the industry. gikwang is solely responsible for the nipple ban on music show broadcast. jyp trainees mourned when yoseob was hired by cube. doojoon is the country’s boyfriend his face is literally a landmark. dongwoon caused an entire meltdown among knetizens for getting married. one of their ex members was part of trouble maker. they had to FIGHT cube to leave this label and are all still famous regardless. fiction, beautiful night, on rainy days, shock, breathe, mystery, bad girl … cube never had a group like that again and neither did kpop at large.

originally a competitive roller skater, kaori took an interest in music through her mother, who would play kayōkyoku throughout the house. kaori would dance to more modern j-pop songs with her mother, and took up choir at her school for fun. she would discover k-pop shortly after, and would begin posting dance covers to YOUTUBE in 2008. prior to that, in 2004, kaori’s life drastically changed, as her parents were forced to divorce. her father’s family often expressed disapproval towards their son’s marriage to a woman from a low income family, and tried to unsuccessfully convince hidehiko to divorce mamiko himself in the past. following her parents’ divorce, kaori and her mother were forced to move out of their upper class neighborhood and move into a smaller apartment, and mamiko—who was unable to pay rent on her own—had to take up jobs as a receptionist and kyabajō. kaori was initially allowed to stay with her father, but after a few years, his family was granted permission to cease her visits. kaori wouldn’t see her father in person again until 2012.

in 2006, kaori and her mother moved to new york, as her mother had gotten a higher paying job at HARPER’S BAZAAR magazine. kaori lived in new york for five years, finding work as an actress and model, and continuing to skate in the meantime, before moving back to japan to attend high school—and completely on her own. she would begin modeling for gyaru magazines such as EGG, VIVI, SEVENTEEN, and RANZUKI and for brands such as JSG and DIAMOND LASH, and that same year, she made her debut as an actress, starring in her first big screen film. she would have a supporting role in a j-drama, and the show’s subsequent success caught the attention of AVEX TRAX. kaori accepted their six album contract, and would spend the next year recording her debut album. on DECEMBER 7TH, 2011, her debut single—“TREAT ME (AKACHAN O ATSUKATTE)”—was released.

kaori’s debut was a success, and over the next few years, she would grow to become one of japan’s most successful idols. she would make a successful chinese debut in 2013, and would try her hand at the american market in 2014 with a decently successful album. that same year, she would launch her own clothing brand, JAZZY. in 2018, looking to break into the korean market, avex would send kaori onto PRODUCE 48, hoping to get her into the show’s final group. neither from an AKB group or a korean agency, kaori was an independent trainee with zero training under her belt. despite that, her pre-existing popularity and experience prevailed, giving her a high grade, consistently high rankings, and a center position. unfortunately, she ended up at 13—just one place off from the final spot.

regardless, kaori moved on, releasing a successful album in japan later that year. in 2020, in order to increase her presence in china, she was sent to compete on PRODUCE CAMP 2020. yet again, she ended up at 9th place—failing to make it into the final group. like before, though, she moved on. and in 2023, kaori would return to korea again, signing with JYP ENTERTAINMENT and making her official debut with her album SALTY+SWEET. she has garnered a sizable fanbase in both korea and the united states, and is one of asia’s most WELL KNOWN singers.

strong yes! it is possible that baemon will debut in the next coming months. this group is really big for yg it seems! like a new beginning and new story for the company that they really want to capitalize on. they have reflected on what they have done in the past and how they want to improve moving forward.

as for the delays, it seems there have been some personal conflicts for the members. things like small mistakes that yg would rather take care of first than deal with scheduling and/or lack of support because of these issues. nonetheless, the group will persist and they are becoming wiser because of it.

yg will most likely have a very similar approach to baemon as they did blackpink, believing that if the music style of blackpink was so popular, so will baemon. a lot of creative action for baemon is based on blackpink.

they will most likely not switch out members from now on, there is a lot of deep connection framework, corporate things like investors and such. it has also been confirmed there are seven members!!
