#what truly is wild to me about the discourse that happens every pride month #is why some people feel so emboldened to weigh in on how someone else identifies they feel like it's up to them to be like #hey you're valid or hey you're not and here's why #like.........what #as long as they are not harming anyone how someone identifies is genuinely none of my business #their relationship w gender and sexuality is theirs not mine and the audacity of people to think they get to insert their opinion is just #very weird to me idk #everyone's journey is their own and everyone deserves the space to explore things without unsolicited opinions lol #also like maybe it's just the anxiety in me but i do not get how people are so comfortable harassing others about their identities #like if you don't understand the labels or pronouns someone else uses that's.....not their problem lol #there's plenty i still don't fully understand and it's my responsibility to learn #i just like idk #i truly don't get why things have devolved into people harassing others for reason feeling emboldened to decide what is valid and what isn't #making things more divisive and uncomfortable just........so many reality checks are needed lol
