#kbitycus talks #my lanz/taion dynamic gets more complicated & simultaneously more simple by the story beat #but i have a fic in the works & Then You Will Know #tritons hero quest rly solidified it for me as a dynamic though. specifically the #''lanz calm down hes just trying to get under your skin'' (taion is insulted and both of them go oh okay fuck this guy nearly IDENTICALLY) #but also the way that lanz isn't like. he doesnt fall into the stupid defender trope actually!! theres a few jokes here and there #but in the end its mostly him and eunie affectionately ragging on each other OR taion and lanz's styles of thinking clashing #because lanz IS impulsive and protective and taion is more strategy oriented and less obviously protective #but taion is still stupidly protective like. the minute you squint at him for longer than a minute #and the way that while lanzs original class is a defender onr and taions is healer.
