im watching dream home makeover on netflix and its fascinating cause these people exist on like. an entirely different plane of existence, i think

#the houses are ENORMOUS #everyone (except for like 1 family so far) wants 800 separate bathrooms and like a cinema room or a secondary or tirtiary hangout space #and like the designs end up looking like nice and clean and whatever but theyre almost all The Exact Same #everyones like ooh i want to spend time with my family in this space :3 and then the house is like a billion empty rooms #babygirl you cant even FIND your family in all this space 😭😭😭😭 #also the hosts feel like unhinged religious nuts that are simply masking it very well #also they never let their small daughters leave the house without wearing matching outfits and bows in their hair #i liked nate&jeremiah on hgtv much more cause their work had so much more personality #and the people they worked for were more often than not like.. not to be rude to the DHM clients but... Real People.......
