i really love nog as a character but because he’s so gung-ho the show has yet to acknowledge how it’s really questionable for him to be 19/20 and serving in an actual war on his first commission. i think they have a chance to do something really interesting because you have someone who’s very idealistic about starfleet (since he’s the first to join in his family he’s not aware of the dangers) having to face the horrors of war. & they handled a similar plot with jake in nor the battle to the strong really well so i have some hope they’ll come through with noggie. anyway there’s no real point to this it’s just if the show ends with nog saying “Gee Whiz I Love The Academy Haha!“ after 3 seasons of being in an active war i’ll be disappointed. o7
