cloudy was—well, to put it nicely, he was not the most cheerful person—so it was far from unusual to find him with an expression that matched his name. but after all their time working together, harlow likes to think he's getting quite good at telling what his boss is feeling, and this is far from his usual blank annoyance. he hesitates in the doorway before sitting across the desk from cloudy, stack of important papers still held tightly in his hands so his boss couldn't use them to escape this conversation. "all right. say the word and i cancel all the rest of your meetings today," harlow offers simply. there's a smile on his lips, but he's dead serious. cloudy works himself far too much, and harlow will feel like an asshole if he doesn't at least attempt to give him an escape today.

hmm...i think for luka, it's something he def needs to work on!! sometimes he can be a bit sensitive and not say how he's actually feeling, bc he doesn't want to make a big deal out of it OR he can get too hot-headed about something and say something he doesn't really mean bc he got lost in the moment!! honestly, he just needs his partner to be very patient with him and make sure they're checking in on him regularly
