feel like people (most especially men) love tossing women of color under the bus and using them as a front for their misogynistic shit. all the “karen is not misogynistic! it’s used by women of color to complain about entitled fragile white women!” and every time something egregiously misogynistic is said (typically NOT by women of color) with “white” conveniently inserted in front of it and anytime anyone says anything about women having an “obsession with victimization” and “their own fragility” etc. it’s malignant on several fronts, one because it’s clear misogyny given a “woke” tone and also it serves to divide women further and throws women of color under the bus. i’ve too often seen people fall for this and act as though of women of color are somehow responsible for this - when they are most obviously not an oppressor class in any way shape or form and face oppression on multiple axes, both misogyny and race.
