My take on this prompt! I probably tried too hard but I hope the result was in any form worth it.

Cyril Aidenescu, my second baron. i can’t finish this walkthrough since 2019, but love the character very much
he is a neutral evil emberkin aasimar (half-elf) and an inquisitor of Norgorber. in his youth he was a priest of Sarenrae, but his brothers betrayed him, so he despises this goddess and hates her priests

KC as a Companion - Part One
It took forever, but THE FIRST HALF IS HERE
I need more time to write about her personal quests and romance
Tumblr media
Name: Ekaterina Grushankaya
Race: Aasimar (Emberkin)
Class: Blight Druid
Appearance: A tall, athletic-like aasimar (circa 180cm) with bright red hair entwined in reddish wool locks and owl feathers, grayish blue eyes, and fair-skinned, with some tattoos over her wrists and forearms. She wears worn but clean Mendevian typical clothes, humble jewelry, and a fur overcoat. Also she has an ornate quarterstaff with blue stones (can’t be taken off from her inventory).
Favored Weapon/Equipment: Simple Weapons, Light/Medium Armor (only leather and alikes), light shield
Top Skills: Lore (Nature and Religion) and Perception
Alignment: Neutral Good
General Personality: Insecure, guilt complex, reclusive, caring, brave, and wise.
What traits/values do they admire?
Righteousness, kindness, bravery, search for balance.
What traits/values do they disapprove of?
Cruelty just for the sake of being cruel, playing god, compulsive lies, tyranny.
Are they affiliated with any deities?
She follows the Green Faith
What do they think of their role in the Crusades, and of sharing the Commander’s Mythic powers? What are their reasons for joining the commander’s party?
Katya says she was called by the earth to do her duty as a Blight purger, and then her feet led her to Drezen and the Crusades afterwards. She joins the Commander’s party as a way to fulfill her role, and also to help the soldiers with her healing skills. About the Mythic powers, she believes that they came for one reason, and like Lann, Ekaterina supposes they came with a price. But while they are useful, she has no objections about it.
Who are their friends among the other party members?
She has a soft spot for Ember, and becomes friends with Woljif, Seelah, Lann and Arueshalae through the time.
What about rivals?
She is suspicious towards Camellia’s intentions, greatly disapproves Wenduag’s methods, and thinks Daeran is just a prick rich boy — what is not a lie though. About Greybor and Regill, she tries to stay in a neutral area, but doesn’t lose the opportunity to defend her ideals when provoked.
Are they on any councils? If so, what sort of advice do they give?
She attends the Diplomatic and Logistic Councils, mainly advising the Commander to take care of the locals and try to preserve the ancient sites around the Wound, sending druids or other arcana experts to study these places and learn something from them.
Where do they hang out in Drezen? In the Abyss?
In Drezen, she’s next to the Abandoned House (where afterwards can be her family home). After the greenhouse is grounded, she will be there too. In the Abyss, she is next to Ember.
What are their idle animations?
Checking her belt and potions; musing something with a hand on her chin; crouching and waiting for any movement.
If they’re taken to Areelu’s lab, what is their dream?
She is an archdruid at a Circle somewhere in Mendev. Ekaterina is attending a council and there are some Crusades’ members among the crowd. Next to her, there is a girl with short red hair (if Lann is trying to flirt with her, the girl will have little horns too).
After that, if the Commander asks what that means, she will just shrug and say, ‘It’s not a secret at all, Commander. I mean, half of Kenabres knew or supposed that I wanted a place where I could really call home. And not home just for me, but… for people like me. Or us. Kindred folk, you see?’
Do they advise the commander to abandon or keep their mythic powers?
She isn’t against any good-aligned mythic powers, but when it’s about Chaotic ones, Ekaterina has mixed opinions: she believes that Trickster and Azata disturb the universe balance, despite the good intentions of the last one, for example. But still there is a chance of her stay in the campaign either way. Except for Evil paths; she will leave as soon as the KC states they won’t renounce it.
How/when do they join the Commander’s party?
At the Second Act. But you meet her at Defender’s Heart. When the KC wakes up, she is in the room taking care of them. Irabeth comes along and introduces her before asking Katya to leave them alone. After that, you can find her outside, aiding the injured survivors. She isn’t available to join the party yet, but if you ask her to come with you, she says that she will think about it (and becomes a companion when the Crusades are officially announced).

I love my pathfinder pc. My knight commander is an aasimar (I've rerolled twice because I couldn't decide if she's emberkin or musetouched...my last roll was musetouched). She started out as an arcanist, who was raised by scholars and decided to study the worldwound for science and was injured. Her alignment is chaotic good leaning towards the chaotic, but she is a total sweetheart. Her army has a good morale and she doesn't know really how she ended up in charge. Her class multiclassed into eldritch knight with a focus on wielding a glaive.
I'm romancing Daeran and she is confused how it happened, he started courting her and then she slowly wanted to get close to him. They were both aasimars and lived vastly different lives. Having him near is a comfort even if is being sarcastic most of the time. Regill is the one she disagrees with as far as his tactics go personally but militarily he makes a point.

Arcosæ Phaeton
28 at start of game ● Aasimar (emberkin) ● Stigmatized Witch ● [I'll throw his mythic path in here once I cross that bridge but I'm leaning towards trickster] ● Chaotic Neutral (currently) ● Acrobat ● He/him (but like y'know, whatever) ● Bisexual
Arcosæ was born in Varisia to his parents (to be named eventually) who were traveling circus performers. They continued traveling after he was born, and he grew up on the thick of it, learning a little bit of every act in the troupe (as well as learning extremely useful skills such as misdirection so that stealing someone's wallet is easier) but eventually falling in love with acrobatics. As an aasimar, he was a big draw once he began to properly perform with the troupe, very quickly becoming a headliner. Unfortunately, traveling around is not always safe, and knowing how to throw an axe with decent accuracy isn't always effective enough to prevent bad things from happening, Arc began to take up magic as further means of defense. Even more unfortunately, magic came at a price, resulting in a curse that causes pain and illness. The curse, as well as the general pains of his acrobatic career took their toll on his body until he decided he'd have to find another vocation. After ensuring there was someone in the circus troupe who was almost as good as him (truly a difficult feat, and no one is *really* as good as him) so that his parents wouldn't be too negatively impacted by his absence, he slipped away from the caravan. And even *more* unfortunately, he ended up wandering into Mendev at exactly the wrong time. He still has no idea what he's doing if he's being honest, but he figures if he survives this knight-commander shit, he'll be set for life and won't have to worry too hard. And if he doesn't survive, he won't have to worry at all!

Back at you 😊 Tell us about your WOTR Commander! (I mean if you want, no pressure)
[no pressure, no pressure... *three crows running in circles*]
Oh goodness, what can I say about Katya? I want to play her so bad, but WOTR is so expensive on Playstation Store damn capitalism. Hope I can afford for soon as I start my new job.
Anyway, enough whinning. It will be long.
Ekaterina Grushankaya is an aasimar (emberkin) from Irrisen. She grew up in a Druidic Circle, the White Hill, one of the few that remained after Baba Yaga's invasion. She is not her mother's biological daughter, tho: she was left there when she was barely days old. Annya adopted her, despite the protests from the other druids (because who knows where that kid is from? She could be a Winter Witch's offspring, sent to destroy us! [sic])
Katya grew up with her siblings (Bjorn, a human skald, and Tanya, a shaman tiefling), and was looked down by many from the Circle for years. When she was old enough, Katya finally left the underground tribe (did I tell that they live inside the hill?), and decided to explore the world, proving her valor as a druid and finally shutting the haters up.
She is a Blight Druid, Neutral Good. Probably she will adopt Ember and Woljif as young siblings, and have heat discussions with Greybor and Regill :'D
And as far as I can see, maybe a ram-lizard-man will win the Crusades' lottery hahaha
I wrote some things about her on the sideblog. Check out here.
Thank you for asking ^_^

I also managed to hammer out some details for my demon mythic path Commander, once again through Discord:
Nazaria; aasimar (likely emberkin, but certainly fallen), demon dancer skald; demon mythic path; alignment TBD; romancing Wenduag.
Aasimar born in Nidal only have a few select fates; they either end up dead, slaves, corrupted or symbols for insurrection. Nazaria was one such aasimar, who ends up a pleasure slave and later favourite for a member of the Umbral Court. The more time she spent being corrupted, tortured by this member of the court, anything that was light and good began to die inside of her, and only anger and bitterness lies within.
Once, she would pray to Desna for salvation, for freedom, try to beg any followers of hers that she might have spotted on the few trips outside of her patron’s home to help her, but her pleas and prayers fell on deaf ears.
So when she learned she would be sacrificed once and for all, she decided to free herself. With murder. She flees Nidal, heading northward.
Angered by the goddess’ seeming inaction and not seeing any value in the good aligned deities, Nazaria turns to Gyronna, the Angry Hag. There is so much anger and hate in her that the Gyronnan priestesses embrace her into their midst without so much as a second thought, and encourage her to harness that rage for her own power, and in turn, inspire it in others. A lovely, furious avenging fallen angel, who has no qualms killing those who scorn and toss aside and harm women who have been cast out of society.
She chooses the Path of the Demon because she knows what it’s like to be powerless, and she never wants to end up on that altar again. If that means making a deal with a demon, taking aspects of demons in her rage - be it the succubus, the vavakia or something else - then she’ll take it.
Using this art by Caio Monteiro for her portrait.

Knight Commander as a Companion
@dragonologist-phd since she’s the one who made the prompt
Name: Rhialla Mistwine
Race: Emberkin Aasimar
Class: Hex Channeler Witch Ancestors Patron/ Purifier Oracle Wind Mystery Powerless Prophecy curse
Appearance: Rhialla is a relatively short Aasimar woman. Hair and eyes betraying her Peri heritage. Her hair is white gold, normally pulled back into a bun of varying levels of looseness. Her eyes are blood orange in color. When her halo is active it’s more like a fire red instead of the standard golden yellow. She’s normally seen in light traveling clothes or plain dresses with hidden pockets. Her hands frequently smudged in ink. She generally gives off an air of softness and delicateness.
Favored Weapon/Equipment: light crossbow/ shirt + Haramaki corset
Top Skills:Knowledge (Arcana), Knowledge (World), Persuasion, Intelligence, Charisma
Alignment: Neutral Good(can become lawful evil)
General Personality:Rhialla is a personable if somewhat detached, curious young woman who prefers to live and let live with most people, partially out of its easier to not draw unneeded attention and partially just from her trying to not pass judgement on them because she’s a witch and as an emberkin has a evil in her blood somewhere. While she’s not against having attention on her, she is aware of witch hunters like Hulrun about so she prefers to keep her head down in that regard. She’s struggled her entire life with the pull between good and evil due to her Peri heritage so she leans hard on good or tries to temper her more evil aligned inclinations with neutrality. She gets touchy when around adherents of Sarenrae.
What traits/values do they admire? Mercy(or pity), Understanding(acceptance not needed), cunning
What do they think of their role in the Crusades, and of sharing the Commander’s Mythic powers? What are their reasons for joining the commander’s party? She doesn’t really care for the crusades seeing as it wiped out her entire family and booted her onto the streets until her adopted mother took her in. She finds the sharing of the powers utterly fascinating.
What traits/values do they disapprove of? Zealotry, Cruelty, hypocrisy, constant excess (in either direction, an ascetic is just as bad as a hedonist)
Are they affiliated with any dieties? She was raised to revere and worship Iomedae. Depending on your choices it can switch to Asmodeus or Cayden Cailian.
She has no particular reason to join the commander other than right place right time, and she wants to do what’s right when given the chance.
Who are their friends among the other party members? Woljif because she doesn’t judge him too much for his sticky fingers, remembering the year she was on the streets and understanding that he never got that chance. Also bonding over their great grandparent being Super Evil.
Lann because she doesn’t let him squeeze out of confronting himself or his feelings, and she just generally finds him pleasant to be around.
Pretty much all of them from one degree to another, barring Cam and Wendu really. She doesn’t judge, or tries not to and none of them are Sarenrae adherents or with hunters so there’s nothing to stress over.
What about rivals? Camellia isn’t even a rival, she just hates her. Wenduag creeps her out on many levels, but she can’t help but feel pity for her and wants to help her not Be Like That.
A more proper rival would be Daeran: petty sniping, jokes of various levels of mean at the others expense. Despite this they do like each other. They’re worsties(affectionate).
Are they on any councils? If so, what sort of advice do they give? Rhialla would be on the leadership and diplomacy councils. Her advice is level headed with a focus on causing as minimal damage to the common person as possible.
Where do they hang out in Drezen? In the Abyss? In Drezen she’d normally be found in the tavern or sitting on the stairs between Woljif and Ember. In the abyss she’d be near the ledge looking over the city.
What are their idle animations?  She’ll fix her bun or dust off her clothes. Sometimes she’ll pat down her sides as if she’s looking for something she accidentally lost.
If they’re taken to Areelu’s lab, what is their dream? Her dream is her birth family and her adopted mother all together as she introduces her non descript lover.
Do they advise the commander to abandon or keep their mythic powers? It depends on the path and how her quests up until then had been resolved, and even their counters for things like angel and aeon. A lawful angel, true aeon, demon, and lich she advises to abandon.  She expresses wariness on the trickster path. If its merciful angel or azata she supports keeping it whole heartedly. A fallen(or has the highest points there) Rhialla will express overt acceptance of going becoming a devil if she’s in the party during that conversation.
Describe their companion quest:
Her quest is about her struggle between her personal struggle between her impulses for good and evil, and if your innate power makes you evil, or if you the power is evil any longer if it’s yours now and you made it your own.
Act 1: You encounter her trapped under some rubble a little ways away from where you find Anevia. She starts off as an npc follower having already used her healing hex for the day she can’t finish healing herself until the following day. She isn’t recruitable until you reach Defender’s Heart where you can learn she was born and spent her childhood in Kenabres before being adopted. Once recruited you’ll get a quest about acquiring a scroll and some books(you can’t read them but you can feel the power radiating from them) from a point on the map. She’ll innocuously ask you about your opinion on powers coming from suspect places. Depending on your answer it raises her rejection, fallen or acceptance counters.
Act 3: You gain the quests from her visiting the war room. She’s been having nightmares, and looks to you for some advice on what to do. This can raise her rejection counter, but no impact on fallen or acceptance.
Her other longer quest is on the map, asks you to indulge her and take her to a point on the map that her nightmares directed to. At this point you’re accosted by a devil who works for Mephistopheles, trying to get her to fall and sign her soul away so she can claim her birth right to be an eirnyes as a direct descendant of Eiseth. Your remarks here give points towards each particular ending: give in, reject it because at some point it was tainted by evil, who cares where it came from its yours now.
Post quest talk is another chance to net more points towards the end you want.
Act 5: Her quest locks in her ending. At this point you’re accosted by the devil once more, here you learn that they want to use Rhialla as a bargaining chip to ensure Eiseth works with him, if you agree then she’ll be taken to hell after the end of the crusades to be used as payment as cooperation for plot unknown to you. If you’ve been pushing her towards falling she’ll make the choice without your input.
If you’ve been pushing her to acceptance of her heritage then she rejects the offer stating she’s fine right as she is. You fight the devil to a stand still and they retreat leaving her alone for the time being.
If you’ve been pushing her to rejection she has a breakdown and ends up freezing the both you and the devil. Deciding that as broken as she is, she isn’t worth the effort the devil leaves.
How she responds for the rest of the game depends on how you resolved it. Fallen she wonders how she’s going to navigate hell based off of what she knows of the infernal planes, but figures she’ll adjust quickly. Rejection has her silent before yelling at you, and wondering if you’re happy, you hypocritical bastard. Acceptance Rhialla thanks you and points out that her heritage and your powers aren’t so different and that they, you’ve each made them your own regardless of whose they were before. They’re yours now.
Note: Rejection Rhialla won’t call you a hypocrite if you’re legend path as of completing her quest she’ll just say that you were right.
Are they romanceable? Describe their romance quest/scenes if you want! She’d be romanceable, but you can also set her up with Lann or Daeran, if you aren't romancing one or either of them. Lann is the default if you don’t romance her or him. Points are awarded for your responses about either of them and taking her along with either of them when traveling.
Act 1: Your first flirt, or nudge towards either of them. Nothing really happens here, but there’s a few chances to get points for acceptance or fallen romance.
Act 2: Compliment her warmth if you’re romancing her. During the Gargoyle attack you can tell her that you’ll protect her, she’ll get annoyed by the perceived weakness but thank you nonetheless.
Again you can nudge her towards Daeran or Lann by asking her opinion on either of them, and at her confusion on why you’re asking, bluntly tell her that you’ve noticed her spending a lot of time around the one you want her to end up with. This will be a big affection boost for them.
Act 3: The first scene is a camping scene where she apologizes for Storm gaining the habit of sitting on your head. Tell her it’s not a big deal, or that you’re honored to be the new favorite perch of her familiar.
The second scene/date is her asking you to be a subject for a new spell she’s trying out. She won’t say what it is until you agree except that its not for combat and minimal utility. The spell in questions is flower conjuration with a unique effect of reducing fatigue.
Act 4: Her romance scene in the abyss starts off by her asking if you’re alright since getting exiled here. Be emotionally vulnerable to her, she’ll give you a hug and kiss your cheek and reiterate that she’ll always be there for you.
You can massively boost her counter with Lann by bringing her to his quest.
Act 5: The final romance scene, this will take place after her final quest. She tells you that she’s putting together a surprise for you the two of you, and asks you to avoid your own room until she calls for you. The timer will skip ahead to her calling you to your chambers. She’ll be finishing up creating a romantic scene for the two of you. You can choose to pursue sex with her at this point and she’ll agree. For the post sex talk she’s insecure and asks you if you want to be with her because you love her or just her looks. Replying the latter breaks off the romance and she’ll refuse to speak to you for thee in game days.
For a fallen Rhialla, its the same set up, except she’ll suggest the sex. For the post sex talk if you tell her you love her, she’ll say that you’ll never escape her. If you reject her, her anger flashes white hot for a moment before she regains her composure and makes it clear that the only reason that she isn’t retaliating is because she needs you to close the wound and from the contract she signed in her final quest.
Note: if you pushed her to the rejection end, it will immediately break off the romance.
Threshold: She’ll have a conversation with you about how you’re both going to survive and that she still needs to introduce you to her mother, the conversation ends with her kissing you and making you promise that you’ll live. If you’ve been nudging her towards her other options she’ll thank you for doing so and give you a hug. A Fallen Rhialla states that she’ll enjoy the time you two have together before she has to fulfill her end of the bargain and that you’ll be the only thing she’ll miss about [this place].
Note, for if you don’t romance any of the three: If you don't get Lann's good end or he dies during act 5 her and she had Daeran's affection counter active her ending slide mentions that they marry after Lann's death and that rumors on why they married are plentiful and most contain a kernel of vague truth.
What would their ending slides be like?
Acceptance: Rhialla stayed in Drezen for a short time, when she left it was with much fanfare. She traveled far and wide but always returned to her home in Nerosyan often with some ragamuffin kid she had taken under her wing in tow.
Rejection: Rhialla disappeared shortly after the official end to the crusade. Turning away from both her Celestial and fallen angel heritage. She threw herself into her ice and winter magics. No one knows what happened to her, rumors from she died by her own hand or became a reclusive witch in the woods, but one thing is certain lost travelers can hear a woman despaired cursing of the knight commander on the wind during snow storms.
Fallen: Rhialla disappeared shortly after the official end to the crusade. She was going to hell, willingly and almost happily. There she was rumored to have been transformed into an erinyes by Eiseth herself, and never found far from her fallen angel turned devil ancestor’s side. Her loyalty to the Queen of the Night absolute. Eventually she reappeared on the face of Golorian. She visited the Commander from time to time, only half way serious on trying to get them to sign over their souls to Eiseth. Perhaps one day she can be redeemed once more.
Acceptance Romanced by Commander: Rhialla stayed with the commander. Joyful and content with her life, she left at times to help someone somewhere or to find some lost magic, but she always found her way back home to her love. Often with some ragamuffin kid she pulled under her wing  right on her heels.
There is no difference between romance or unromanced for Fallen end slide.
Secret end: As Rhialla adjusts to her new found divinity, she doesn't interfere in Golorian affairs except to act as a good patron to witches and oracles. Later on She’s also been seen to walk among mortals in different guises.
She has a few line swap around if you budged her to either lann or daeran and how you resolved their quests.
Any other fun facts?
She can speak three different languages and read about five fluently. This isn’t counting Common or Celestial.
A Fallen Rhialla WILL leave on demon path, there is no way to keep her if she falls and you are a demon.
You can recruit her anytime in act 1, or in act 2 if you convince Galfrey to stay. Otherwise she returns to Nerosyan with the Queen’s entourage.
Provide some dialogue/bark examples!
Conversation start: The young Aasimar looks up from her work, a soft smile graces her visage. “What do you need Commander?”
Conversation End: “Well if that’s everything then.” Rhialla smiles once again before turning back to the item in her hands.
Selection: “I'm paying attention.” / “What do you want to know?”
Skill Check Pass: “It worked? Of course it worked.” / “Done, as expected.”
Skill Check Failure: “Shit.” / “Maybe someone else should try”
Combat start: “Ok, so no talking this out” / “Get ready!”
Combat end: “Anyone hurt?” / “I think I might have singed myself”
Knock out: “I don’t want to die” / “This is why I didn’t join the crusades sooner”
Enemy down: “Burn!” / “Sorry no other way.”
Provide some examples of companion banters!
Solo: Storm! Stop trying to take my quill, its not going to make me spend time with you faster. If you take it I’ll just pluck a new one from your feathers. Storm!
With Others:
Regill: While I question the wisdom of dismissing it outright, and the structure in Hell could do you some good. You did well to not compromise.
Rhialla: Thank you Regill.
-
Ember: Aw, I think Soot and Storm are friends! They’re playing with each other.
Rhialla: I don’t think they’re playing Ember. I think they’re fighting.
-
Woljif: So I guess you’re not so holy huh? Must feel bad having a Devil for a great grandma.
Rhialla: Never claimed I was. Unlike other aasimar I get a pull towards both good and evil.
-
Rhialla: Arueleshae, is it ever hard to deny your more evil impulses?
Arue: Yes it is. Everyday is a struggle for me. That’s why I hope for the day when I no longer have them. If you’re worried you can talk to me about it. I know better than most.

Peri can and often do bear children with mortals, creating Aasimar known as Emberkin. Emberkin can be easily mistaken for Ifrits, possessing enough of the same physical characteristics for someone with a low Knowledge (Religion) check to mess up. Unlike the Peri, Emberkin are not driven to make up for the sins of their past, but are often raised to do so all the same by their angelic progenitors.

OC headcanons for Ekaterina! clothing style, talk about your muse’s accent, something that makes your muse smile
Hi, thanks for asking :D
Let's talk about Katya and her traits:
Clothing Style: I have a headcanon that the fashion in Irrisen (and between the villagers of Mendev) looks like the traditional Ukrainian clothes, although between the people of the first one there are a strong Skald influence as well.
Of course, in the Baba's court they are oppulent and extravagant, but talking about Ekaterina and where she grew up, their clothes are made of simple fabric but with colorful patterns on sleeves and skirts/shirts hems. For the eternal cold, they wear heavy fur coats and fur boots, but this last item our aasimar girl doesn't need often because she is always warm (emberkin skills hahahah).
Also, Katya loves colorful trinkets; it doesn't matter if they are made of precious stones or just painted rocks (or even animal bones), she wears the same
My Muse's Accent: Although her faceclaim is the Ukrainian model and actress Alina Kovalenko, I imagine that she doesn't have a strong slavic accent, after all in Irrisen they speak Skald and Hallit. So her accent could be strong/harsh, but it's soften by her smooth tone.
Something that makes her smile: Being next to her beloved ones. She is always worried when is apart from her family and close friends, but when they are together she feels safe and loved. It's a big softie my girl.
