#i like the fact that in canon now #Ahsoka didn't want to be considered 'too young to be a Padawan' when she was fourteen #implying 15/16 is more the norm for Jedi of Human-equivalent lifespan/maturity #because that kinda makes sense to me? #becoming a Padawan and getting the actual job and life experience you'll need as a Jedi Knight #AFTER you've hit puberty and probably finished most if not all of your regular schooling #...meanwhile Obi-Wan and Tapal over here just like 🤝 every third day #either that or someday we'll all be fuckin' blindsided by someone official going 'yeah Cal was 20 in JFO' #which i will ignore because i cannot accept he was any older than 13 in that Order 66 cutscene :)
