Flora/Effie C-S supports

[So I figured to balance out, I’d write a female/Flora support. And in my saving of pages, I was surprised to find Effie has an astounding lack of supports with other female characters. It’s an injustice I say. So I thought I should contribute. The idea came to me instantly when I claimed the supports. I wanted to use the NoA over-muscled personality for Effie to my advantage. My proofreader said it was a surprisingly cute combo. I kinda like it, and I hope you do too!]

C support:

Effie: HRF!

*clatter*

Perhaps I should weight my armor more.

Though…this soreness is more noticeable than normal.

Flora: Effie?

You seem troubled. Is there anything I could do?

Effie: Oh, hello, Flora.

This is nothing I can’t solve, though your consideration is appreciated.

Flora: Could I ask what the problem is?

Effie: It’s a bit of muscle soreness. Nothing too new.

I just need to rub the pain out and work it back into shape.

Flora: With all due respect, Effie, I don’t think continuing to train will help cure your soreness.

It was drastic enough that you even removed some of your armor.

Effie: I can not waste one moment. I must continue to build my strength.

If I tire for even a second, that’s one second that could put Lady Elise in danger.

Flora: I admire your tireless dedication to your liege.

What would she say if you told her this?

Effie: …She would likely tell me to rest.

Flora: And I agree wholeheartedly.

I believe I have a solution. Please sit.

Effie: Um, ok.

*screen transition*

Flora: And done! Do you feel better?

Effie: Yes, much better.

Lowering the temperature of your hands during the massage was a brilliant idea!

I feel brand new.

Flora: I’m relieved to hear that.

Effie: I must find an equal greatness to repay you with. I’m sure I can find the time while I train.

Flora: No, I don’t want to cut into your schedule.

Effie: Nonsense, you’ve likely decreased the time I’ll need to take by getting more done at a time.

Such kindness deserves something.

*Effie leaves*

Flora: Wait!

I suppose I’m not changing her mind…

B support:

Flora: Effie?

Effie: Yes, Flora?

Flora: I saw your presents.

Effie: Oh good! Did you like them?

Flora: There were just so many! How could you afford so many gift baskets? I couldn’t even check the contents of them all!

Effie: Well, the shopkeep was attempting to make a deal off of me. The baskets were supposedly heavy, though filled with good things.

I suppose I don’t look very imposing without my armor, to top it off. Lady Elise suggested I don’t go alone into town with it on.

So he said I could get as much as I could carry without extra charge.

Naturally, I took him up on his offer.

I’m not sure he appreciated having to close his stand…

Flora: I couldn’t even see the floor of my quarters…

I don’t think I can accept so many.

Effie: Did you…dislike the gifts?

Flora: Oh no, of course not! They’re lovely!

At least the 20 I got to look through.

It just feels like I haven’t done enough. I hate to seem ungrateful, but could you take some back?

I’ll even give you another massage for the ones you did get me.

Effie: If you insist…

I’ll give the spares to Lady Elise. She’ll likely love them.

Flora: That’s good. I’m glad there’s still a use for them.

My apologies for not being able to keep them all.

Effie: It’s fine. Thank you for still accepting them.

Um…

If it’s not too much trouble, could I take you up on your offer now?

Flora: Oh, yes. Then you can return to training.

Effie: I’d love that.

A support:

Effie: FLORA!

Flora: Eep!

You scared me! What could possibly be worth yelling at me for?

Effie: Why did you get me a present?

Flora: I felt mildly ungrateful for taking gifts and even returning some without giving you anything of tangible value…

So I took it upon myself to get it during my shopping for Lord/Lady [Avatar].

They seemed like they would be to your liking.

Effie: Very much so. They remind me of Lady Elise with the soft subtle yellow and purple colors.

And I appreciate the seeds you got for me to plant more.

But you’ve done quite a lot for me already!

Flora: The massages were simply to help a friend.

When I passed by you during my chores, you seemed to be packing an even tougher hit than usual.

I wanted to give a gift for getting one.

Effie: Well, I have to get you another.

Flora: Excuse me?

Effie: Somehow I have to properly repay you.

I promise this time I won’t cover your floor.

Flora: Ordinarily I would stop you…

But having a friend to exchange gifts with every once in a while sounds like a welcome change.

Would you allow this?

Effie: I don’t mind. I already buy things for Lady Elise. A second person sounds like a swell idea.

Flora: I’m very grateful.

Effie: I’m sorry for yelling. I overreacted.

But now that we’ve settled on an agreement, I think it’ll work out.

Which reminds me, did you need any help with your duties?

Since I’m here and Arthur is with Lady Elise, I think I can spare a few minutes.

At least before his notorious luck kicks in.

Flora: Well, I was on the way to the mess hall.

If you’d like to help me cook, I would be delighted to work with you, Effie.

Effie: That sounds wonderful!

Now that you mention it, I’m starving. I could eat a stable’s worth of horses.

Flora: Haha, you’re silly.

Effie: No, I’m serious.

Flora: Oh dear…

Perhaps I should attempt to make a few dozen extra servings.

Effie: I already can’t wait.

S support:

Flora: I hope this is a good enough present. We’ve gotten so many that I had to ponder deeply.

Effie: Armor polish!

I was running out. Thank you, Flora.

Getting Faceless blood on your armor really takes the shine out of it.

Flora: I…wouldn’t be surprised.

Effie: I think I have the perfect gift for you.

I asked for Lady Elise’s blessing, as well as Lord/Lady [Avatar].

Flora: You didn’t–

Effie: Here you are.

Flora: Oh gracious. It’s beautiful.

I couldn’t possibly— I haven’t done anything worthy of this ring.

Effie: I’d beg to differ.

You were constantly kind to me, and you’ve been a wonderful friend, and you’ve committed so much time to me despite not being your liege.

It would make me the happiest girl alive if you would marry me, Flora.

Flora: All I did was give you things…This is so unexpected!

Effie: If you don’t like it, I can stop.

It’s not just about what you’ve given me.

But the best present for the both of us I could give you is my heart.

Flora: You are quite the gift, Effie.

One that has more value than anything coin could buy.

If you’ll have me…I accept.

Effie: Fantastic!

I’d hug you but I don’t want to hurt my future wife.

Flora: I appreciate it.

This ring…the color is just like ice.

Effie: I know. I thought you’d like it.

Flora: Oh, I do.

But I love what came with it so much more.

Effie: Stop, you’re making me blush.

We should have a feast to celebrate. I’m quite hungry and it’ll give us an occasion.

Flora: Are we inviting everyone?

Effie: Why not? I’d love for the whole army to know.

Flora: We had better get started cooking.

Effie: Let’s get to it!
