TIME FOR THE ETHIE (my tloz oc) INFO THAT NONE OF YOU ASKED FOR because my adoration for botw/totk is so fucking strong rn!!!!

Putting it under a cut bc longpost go brrr

General lore:

- In every life she has, she’s Beedle’s sister, and they’re almost always besties!! While they often have different lifestyles they still make time to hang out

- Ethie and Link have some kinda soulmate thing going on, whether it’s just as friends or as something more romantic. In every timeline though, Ethie crushes on him hard

- Sometimes she’s more stereotypically domestic like in the Windwaker or Skyward Sword timelines, but oftentimes she winds up being devoted to a craft of some sort!

- She’s tiny, like, even shorter than Link. Gets mistaken for a child a lot bc of this (just like me fr)

- Super strong!! Always!

- Loves nature, loves bugs, doesn’t always love fighting but is very good at it anyway. More into light swords than anything, but is very good with a bow and arrow too

- Her horse of choice (if she has one) is usually named after a food, not keeping a consistent name like Epona

- Autistic because obviously

BotW:

- Ethie is a blacksmith! She lives in one of the Bolson homes in Hateno (although the layout is a little different in my HC)

- She travels often, making deliveries all over Hyrule rather than having her customers need to come to her. She enjoys it, especially loving being able to explore for ores/materials and stay at the cozy stables

- She has a horse named Parsnip, because her color scheme matches one (She tames Zelda's old horse, thinking it's just another random wild horse lmao)

- Her parents are farmers that also live in Hateno, and she meets Link while they’re ogling over the Hero of Hyrule coming to their little village (her dad instantly recognized him, but her mom was skeptical and had to warm up to the idea of it really being him a bit)

- They hit it off as buddies and travel together, since Ethie usually has deliveries to make wherever Link is going anyway

- She’s small and angry and easy to tease, like a chihuahua, but like she has to be if she wants to get by looking like an easy prey for monsters and creeps!!

- Because of this, when she starts having feelings for Link, she gets tsundere about it. Because of course she does!! She feels scared and vulnerable and she’s never rly been the romantic type

- Speaking of which, in BotW times, Link and Ethie never “get together” (they don’t do anything beyond hugging and holding hands sometimes), but they’re both crazy about each other. They’re just fucking idiots and can’t see that the other reciprocates

- When Link goes to fight Ganon, she goes with him. After, Zelda offers for Ethie to be her personal knight as well, given how good of a fighter Ethie is (and also just wanting some female companionship rather than being stuck with Link all the time again lmao)

- Ethie declines, but agrees to go on more important/dangerous trips with Zelda and Link when need be

TotK:

- Ethie goes with Link and Zelda the day they “disappear.” Didn’t fall in the hole with Zelda, watched awestruck as Rauru just suddenly appeared to save Link

- She waits on the Sky Island for Link to wake up/Zelda to hopefully come back. At this point she and Zelda are close friends, so she’s just as worried about her, but is mostly focused on making sure Link doesn’t literally die

- Rauru obviously helps Ethie learn how to live (without a cool hand or magic or whatever) on the islands, and even helps her find or make her own cool Zonai clothes to wear

- They become close friends!! Rauru actually enjoys her company a lot more than Ethie realizes (he’s mostly excited to have a friend that isn’t dead or a robot though fkdkvemdkw)

- When Link finally wakes up, she helps Rauru teach Link how to get by. When they’re back on mainland, she accompanies him the whole journey to find Zelda, putting her smithing duties (aside from experimenting with ancient weapons she learned about in the sky) on hold until further notice

Small disaster

Titel: Small disaster Warning: Kids... Bad english, probably bad grammar xD Summary: Patton, Roman and Virgil is trying to take care of a small Logan. Logan as a child was truly something.  A/N: It is 1000 words and edited at 20.00. I’m done and hate the ending... Well I hope at least someone like this... @emo-space-trash maybe @softbludemon wanna read too...? Feel free to tell me wtf you think about it...

Patton knew kids were hard to handle. He thought he would never get any real child since he was a part of another person but apparently, he was wrong. For some reason he woke up to crying, from a small child. He quickly found Logan on his normal sized bed under his black cover and his head of the two normal pillows. Patton could only giggle as he walked over to the young child. “Lo?” “MO!” The voice was light and Patton didn't know how to react. “Mo!” Oh god oh god oh god. Patton picked him up and- “Oh god…” Apparently his outfit didn't sink with him. His shirt was now a long dress for Logan. He looked cute with his purple hair and too long -nearly dress shirt. “We are gonna get Virgil make you new shirts and trousers for you… Come on” he held Logan close and walked to Virgil’s room. Virgil hated to be woken up at 7 in the morning. He was ready to scream to get more sleep when he saw Logan. “Sweet jesus…” He mumbled under his yawn. “Virg, Lo is a kid and he needs clothes…” Logan giggled and held out his arms. “Fine… Give me a shirt, I can make something…” Patton thanked him and took Logan’s shirt of and wrapped Logan in his own cardigan. “We are going to get Lo something to eat, please hurry…” Virgil nodded, already up to fix Logan some clothes. “What do you want to eat?” “PASTA!” “Pasta? In the morning?” Logan nodded and Patton sighed. “Maybe yoghurt?” “NUHU!” the young boy pouted and looked away. “Let’s get yoghurt…” Ten minutes later and the kitchen was a mess. Logan really didn’t want to be good and threw his yoghurt everywhere. So now Logan was a mess, Patton was a mess, the kitchen was a mess. The worst part? Logan was gone. Roman had just fixed his hair when he saw Logan. Covered in yoghurt. “What the - SHIT!” “P’INCEY!” “Don’t touch me -” Logan’s lip started to shiver and Roman had to sit down so he was in Logan’s eye level. “P’incey don’t like me?” “I do just got scared… Should we go to Patton? You have his cardigan…” Logan nodded and held out his arms. “Euhm. No you are walking alone.” Patton let out a sigh of relief when he saw Logan. He had cleaned up himself and the kitchen. “There you are” Patton said and picked Logan up. Roman made a disgusted sound in the background. “Let’s wash you off dirty ape” he chuckled and took him into the bathroom. Washing Logan off was easy. Logan sat quiet in the bath and let Patton pour water over him and ruffle his hair to get the soap out. Logan didn’t make a sound as he played with whatever he could get his small hands on. Half an hour later and Logan was clean and dry. Logan sat on his bed meanwhile Patton tried to find something to wear when Virgil rushed in. He held a black body suit, it looked small but still as small as Logan was. It was in the same black material as his normal shirt. It had holes for the legs, arms and for his head. The hole for the head had somehow been stitched with a black leftover piece because it was clearly smaller and more fitting for a child. It had white stitches where the holes was and under between the holes for the legs. “Wow Virg that looks amazing…” “I hope so… Let’s try it on Logan…” Patton nodded and picked Logan up from the bed. “Hey Lo, Look what Virg made for you” Patton spoke so softly, so reassuring, he always used it to Virgil when he had a bad day. “NO!” Logan jumped down and ran out, with no clothes on. “Godamnit” Patton breathed out before the two adults were chasing a 3-year-old. One minute, 5 minutes, 10, 20, 30 minutes before Logan was in Virgil’s arms. Patton put it on and surprisingly, it fit. “Where is all the sound about?” Roman asked as he went down. “Virg made Lo some clothes but Logan didn’t want to wear it…” Patton said pointing at Logan and Virgil. “I thought that was a dream” Roman mumbled as he stopped next to Patton. “We need to calm him down, he has a lot of energy that kid” Virgil said. “Why not try to get Logan to draw? You like shapes and colours right Lo?” “Shapes!” Roman chuckled and took Logan in his own arms. “Yes shapes!” They both walked into the living room to get some stuff to colour. Logan was really good at drawing shapes and colours. The drawings where all over the room and Roman was NOT happy about it. “Okay play time over... “ Roman the kid up. “Let’s get you some food…” “Good luck!” Patton said, already on cleaning up the living room. Logan was happy with his pasta. Sure he ate with his hands but that was the least Roman could care about right now. Patton and Virgil sat next to him making sure he didn’t fall of the chair he was standing on. Roman would try to teach Logan how to eat normally, at least with a spoon or fork but failed all the time. Logan would throw the fork or spoon down on the floor or in Roman’s food. In the end Roman had given up on making the kid eat normally. Logan was giggly and the others were tired. It wasn’t Logan’s fault he turned into a child, and it wasn’t his fault he was so playful. Logan yawned when his food was gone. “Tired lil guy?” Logan nodded and held his arms out. Patton took him and spun around. “Let’s get you to sleep.” To put Logan to sleep was way easier then him as an adult. From all the running and giggles he fell asleep on the way to Logan’s room. Patton fell asleep fast too only to be waken two hours later by Logan. “Hm?” “You sno’e!” Patton chuckled. “I love you too Lo…” The day continued like that. Logan ran around in his body suit with looked funny. His tiny legs moving fast as he ran around. His small arms holding out every time he wanted carried or wanted something someone else had. At the end of the day everyone was collapsed on the sofa, tired of all the running. Well Logan might have eaten all the cookies while they were sleeping.

1) Describe your comfort zone — a typical you-fic. TBH I say I like to write angst but lately I’m not feeling so confident in it;;; I would say something that’s a light romance with just a sprinkle of angst. 

2) Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to? SO MANY :((( Military!AU, Angel/Demon!AU, Hanahaki Disease!AU, Gumiho!AU, Harry Potter!AU, High School/College!AU :((( 

3) Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole? sndksndksn probably ABO/Wolf!AU;; I don’t really read that trope and I don’t think I can write it well haha

4) How many fic ideas are you nurturing rn? Care to share one of them? 

Oh my God, I’m not joking when I say 50+ I have a whole google spreadsheet to keep track of them all;; one of them is a Xingdae baking club!AU that I’ve been dying to write for the past two years.

7) Share a snippet from one of your favorite pieces of prose you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it. It was 3 in the morning. It was dark outside, and the lights were dimmed down. Chanyeol held Baekhyun’s hand and sat beside his bed. He laid his head next to Baekhyun’s and could hear his labored breathing. With each breath, Chanyeol felt his heart crumbling; Baekhyun was still battling his hardest, but he didn’t have much strength or time to fight any longer. 

Chanyeol just wanted Baekhyun to rest. 

In 10 minutes, he was stroking Baekhyun’s hair and looking lovingly at him. Even if Baekhyun’s hair wasn’t as healthy, or his face was too sharp and bony from all the weight he had lost, he thought Baekhyun was still beautiful. He admired how strong he was, no matter how scared he was. If Chanyeol was terrified, he couldn’t imagine how Baekhyun felt through this whole ordeal.

ALSDFJLAKDJ i’m proud of this because it doesn’t even sound like I’m the one who wrote it. It actually made me cry when I read it LMAO I think it’s something that has the capability of tapping into the readers’ emotions and I think I’ll never be able to write something like this again

8) Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.  Yifan: Kim Jongdae. Jongdae: Huh? What? Yifan: /hands over Shakespeare’s Macbeth/ Here. Proofread this for me! Jongdae: What.  Yifan: I said proofread it!  Jongdae: Yifan... it’s been proofread and published already... Yifan: Then why can’t I understand a single word that’s being said?! It’s complete gibberish! 

tbh Yifan in The Little Wingman is probably my favorite character to have ever written in terms of comedic relief skndfksndf there were scenes with him that were funnier than this but this is the longest dialogue I think

16) If you could write one pairing for the rest of your life, which pairing would it be?  Chansoo!! KDNSFKSDN I’M JOKING I’m probably going to choose Xingdae over Kaisoo :c I think I’m more comfortable writing them!! 

17) Do you finish your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order? KSNDFKSDNF I write so out of order, that’s probably why my transitions are shit and it feels choppy 

18) Do you use any tools, like worksheets or outlines? I can’t do anything without outlines tbh I have a whole document of outline for each and every single fic

The people who know me might think it’s on my bed, but it’s not ksdnfksnd probably my high school library’s private computer room (which I don’t have access to anymore) :c it’s because I’m sitting upright in a comfortable space with a computer that isn’t my own (for some odd reason skdnfnsd)

21) How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting? I usually revise while I’m writing, so countless times,,,,

24) Have you ever deleted one of your published fics? I’ve taken them down for a while, but they’re up again.

25) What do you look for in a beta?  I really want a beta who only reads my stories (a beta who doesn’t take on multiple writers all at once) and focuses their attention on me and bugs me to write and is a really close friend but skdnfksdnf if it’s a temporary beta, then mostly someone with a sharp eye for grammar and plot holes

26) Do you beta yourself? If so, what kind of beta are you?  A personal one skjfksjdf I personally beta for 2, maybe now 3, people. My main writer likes me to bug her especially when a deadline is approaching, but I give space to my other writer. 

27) How do you feel about collaborations?  Something I would like to try one day!! But not to confident about it rn

28) Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.  OK LISTEN,,,, adorableprince, kei17, and naomi24 — adorableprince is my favorite kaisoo writer, kei17 is my favorite chanbaek writer, and naomi24 is my favorite xingdae writer even though she is very flexible with ships. They all know how to hit the feels the right way, but they’ve also made me laugh a lot! 

29) If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?  omg there was this Kaisoo drabble called Protector where Kyungsoo was left in the forest as a baby and the Kai was a gumiho who saved Kyungsoo and marks him with a brand and returns him to the village skndksnd

30) Do you accept prompts? Nope! I have too many ideas of my own I need to belt out

31) Do you take liberties with canon or are you very strict about your fic being canon compliant? Nah, not strict at all. 

32) How do you feel about smut? I read it, but I probably will never ever write it!! 

33) How do you feel about crack? I LOVE CRACK, but I don’t have the confidence to write it.

34) What are your thoughts on non-con and dub-con? It’s a very sensitive topic to many people, but tbh not to me. I can read it and be completely fine, though I do think it should only be written if it’s use to facilitate the plot, a character’s characterization, or backstory. 

35) Would you ever kill off a canon character? Uhhhhhhh idk what canon character means, but I’ve killed off my main characters multiple times and will continue to do so skndfksdnf

36) Which is your favorite site to post fic? I’m most comfortable with AFF but the feedback I get is (wornout kaomoji)

37) Talk about your current wips.  AHHHHHH ok so I’m writing 3 for Golden EXO fest — crown prince/arranged marriage!AU, castle in the sky!AU, and time travel!AU!! I’m finishing up a sci-fi self-prompt for EXOgeddon, and a gift fic for a friend whose zombie!AU prompt in EXOgeddon didn’t get claimed. 

38) Talk about a review that made your day. All comments make my day!! One super recent one was a comment left by my EXO Free Love AU Fest fic’s prompter!! 

39) Do you ever get rude reviews and how do you deal with them? I don’t think I’ve ever considered any of them rude, because I’m grateful for any and all comments I get!

40) Write an alternative ending to --- (or just the summary of one). AHHH in my author’s note for A Heart of Gold — an alternate ending would have gone like this: Jongdae goes into the forest and finds the house, but Yixing is nowhere to be seen. Jongdae explores the cabin a little and concludes he could go through the hospital’s records. He rushes to the hospital and asks the head of the hospital if he can identify the result of Yixing’s surgery. Jongdae is left devastated when he’s told that Yixing didn’t make it.
