i'm sad we never got a scene of charlie and/or grace on the couch of steve and danny's house in the later seasons, on a videocall with their grandparents back in jersey, and as they're having a nice, peaceful conversation, you hear the sound of paws against the hardwood floor, followed by steve or danny going "no eddie please you're wet, come back eddie-,"

and you have eddie williams on the screen of a phone or a laptop or a tablet looking like a question mark because ... he's right there, and he's dry (he'll tell them all about how it's been raining like crazy in jersey, but he hasn't been out all day so there's no way he can be wet), and the kids have to explain that "oh no, gramps, it's not you, it's the dog"

and they turn to show their grandparents the exact moment when steve and danny both launch for a (mild) body tackle with towels to dry off eddie who's had a bath, and he's having the time of his life because he thinks they're chasing him to play
