hard to choose considering i feel like my art changes every day (kinda feel like its changed now that i havent drawn in a couple of weeks omfg) but this single drawing kind of just did something to my brain and now i draw in this sort of style a lot. its fun. i usually end up disliking my old art after a while but i still kinda like this (except his horns. why do i have the habit of drawing them so big?!? lmao)

uuu this is hard! i look at so many peoples creations often from the sidelines and everyones so talented. even tho im quiet i def check the eddsworld tag daily and see what new things ppl r making! i think for this question ima say my fav fan creations are the "reanimatedd"s. i always wanted to take part in one of these cuz i personally love interpreting media i love in my own way... so reanimating a part of an ew ep would be so cool imo. i dont think im good enough at animating/have the tools to take part in these yet but hopefully some day (.:

“I have everything under control!” Eddy yelled out doing his best to brush out the flames with a towel.

Edd grabbed the fire extinguisher. “Is that why everything is on fire?”

Extinguishing the flames out until there was nothing but charred meat and a burned pan, Edd dropped the heavy tube to the floor. The heavy clang made Eddy jumped as he practically collapsed against the counter, clasping it. Edd faced his boyfriend, his eyes filled with questions and worry. Eddy took a deep breath, leaning against the counter. His arms were even shaking if one looked very closely.

“Eddy��”

“I was just trying to get back in the groove,” Eddy confessed with a shaking voice. His countenance was ready to break from the forced smile he was putting on.

Edd’s heart completely ripped apart. Immediately, he wrapped Eddy in a tight hug. Eddy grasped his boyfriend’s shirt like a child. The smell of a burned cigar lingered throughout the kitchen, turning up Edd’s nose. Ignoring it, Edd held Eddy tighter, smoothing his hand through his blue hair.

“I-I just t-thou-”

“Shh…”

“No, Dee, I thought I could do it again!” Eddy argued, his voice still shaking.

Separating from their warm embrace, but wrapping his arms around Eddy’s neck to continue the feeling of safe environment, Edd touched their foreheads together staring into Eddy’s eyes questionably. “What do you mean?”

Sighing in exasperation, Eddy held his head in defeat. It was painful to see the man when he was in such a vulnerable state. Eddy refused to let others see him when he was struggling with his inner battles. Only Edd.

“I want to be me again,” he admitted. Eddy stared up at Edd, meeting his caring eyes. “Do you remember how I used to cook every day, and I was only a kid!”

Edd smiled, nodding. “Your omelets were scrumptious.”

Touching their foreheads together, Eddy pulled the man closer. “I know.” His happy tone subsided once more. “But, Bro took over my mind and the stupid anxiety came on ruining everything! I just… wanna… feel capable… again.”

Feeling his heart rip further, Edd kissed Eddy’s nose. “How could you ever think that, Eddy?”

“Well, I’ve been holding someone’s hand for most of my life. I’m just trying to be me again. And make you happy.”

“You don’t think I’m happy?” Edd asked shocked.

Eddy looked away, ashamed. He nodded.

Edd took Eddy’s hand, even though he slightly jumped at the touch. “Eddy, I love you. I don’t love you any less. Together we have fought our battles. Just the notion that you’re trying to be a better person makes me so happy. You’re going to feel better, Eddy. As I have said for a decade now, you have never given up on my word.”

Their lips met sharing one of the most romantic kisses. They held one another so tenderly. Until Edd felt a hand caress his bottom.

“Later, Eddy,” Edd panted, eyeing him.

Eddy pouted.

Edd looked at the charred pan. “What were you trying to make anyway?”

“An omelet.”

Edd licked his lips. “My favorite.”

Eddy lifted an eyebrow, returning the smile. “I know.”

“Let’s make it together,” Edd suggested.

“I’d like that.”
