The way people in Korea keep mistaking Barbie the movie with Bobby the k-pop/hip-hop idol because in Korean it's written the same (바비) will be the meme of this summer for me xD

The dude even grew out his hair, went blonde hair with pink ends, now wears swag pink clothes, paints his nails even more colorful and behaves even sassier xDD

Man, I love Bobby. The most carefree soul among Korean celebrities.

🌸 REINVENTING THE COSMOS with B.I 🌸 [Animation VCR Fan Project for the concert in Paris 230923]

I finally can brag about the thing that I've been creating for many days! It took me about ~2 months drawing and editing the animation at nights after my work, I literally shed blood, sweat and tears and finished wrapping up the animation on painkillers but it was finally released! And I should say, I'm proud of this.

The story I was referencing (nicely written by French ID) was full of poetic metaphors and references to B.I's music albums, I also tried to put in as many easter eggs as I could; and I loved thinking over how to show the meaning visually, from monochrome to colorful, since it has no words (beside very fitting lyrics of a fan song). I hope the animation looks nice after all the work we put into it ^^

Unfortunately, the venue didn't have the screen so the animation was given to Hanbin on USB and he watched it on his own, but he let us know that he enjoyed it *_*

Now I can rest peacefully and go back to my other fandom projects xD This was one of the biggest projects I've done for Hanbin and I really wanted to express my admiration in showing him my hard creative effort. My chef-d'oeuvre as an ID, if you will :D

Turns out, I really missed drawing this chaotic bunny xD (simultaneously, I can consider him my good foreign friend cuz he thinks all iKONICs are his friends + Bobby occasionally likes and comments my fan arts and even stalked my IG at one point and was very excited about games I made for him SO YEAH WE ARE BEST BROS, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRUH go get some pizza)

Also he is really nice, like fans made a b'day event for him at the pizza and beer cafe, and Bobby randomly showed up without any managers HIDING IN A BUNNY THIEF MASK WITH B'DAY GLASSES ON, took a video of the event, paid for all iKONICs' pizza and ran away

Thief Who Stole Your Heart

(don't laugh I literally just made up that title) I don't know where the sudden inspiration came from but I managed to draw a decent fanart for Yunhyeong's birthday in a couple of hours between work and translating of Donghyuk's solo debut song xD iKON are sooo busy in February...

I'm learning how to draw with CSP on my tablet with stylus like a cool guy but it's really hard %) So I still have to resort to the bulky set-up with my laptop and old wacom tablet and crushing Paint Tool Sai. But at least the pipeline there is so familiar that I'm able to even like the result x))

Anyway, Happy Birthday, Song Yunhyeong! I'm really waiting for your trot solo album :D And I absolutely adore your family (I've met them and they are incredible people) and your warm personality, don't ever change <3

Since I'm suddenly in Thailand, I can't miss and not draw something. So here's a quick sketch of Akk and Ayan attending KCON 2023 :D

My opinions:

Akk is a stan of iKON (Rebellious talented souls that have been chained for too long, he secretly loves all the sappy songs too + live performances keep the fire alive inside of him)

Aye is a stan of G-IDLE (badass girls with witty lyrics and empowering music just make him feel like he's the queen everywhere he goes + he loves breaking stereotypes)

Kan and Thua are both fans of BamBam & GOT7 (They like to do song and dance covers together + Kan finds it hilarious that he can carry BAM green card and Thua carries the second BAM)

Wat is a fan of ATEEZ (and he probably gathered that huge doc about their universe lore + he keeps posting theories and meta after every cinema-like MV, he loves the music and the concept yet others find it hard to understand his excited stream of explanations)

Namo is a stan of Xikers, 8turn, P1harmony, Kep1er and many others underrated groups (because he keeps changing artists to follow friends or mainstream but still ends up rooting for the underdogs and attending all possible performances and fansigns)

Despite all life's unexpected hardships and figuring out my own views on the world and people, I think I still did a good job this year.

For the art, I still haven't fully started my own webcomic (and I promise to do that every year) but I might've gotten closer than before, and the most important thing for me... was that I found a new community full of creative people and many new stories that inspire and motivate me to draw more and try different styles and improve my skills or just have fun and fool around with other fans.

That counts for something. Thank you to everyone who enjoyed my Thai BL, iKON and Hanbin fanarts, thank you so much for all the comments, they truly made me go on. Here's to 2023!
