while im posting tonight. i think about that ptg doodle thats peppino vs pepperman in presumably a 2d fighter a lot so heres my thoughts on how most of the pt + sugspi cast would play in a traditional fg

i posted this in the sugary spire discord and many ppl didnt know the terms. this is alright! i dont mind. i made a little in-depth explanation of the terms i use and break down a little bit more of what i want for each character. pasted under the cut if you would like to see (watch out! its long)

peppino: zangief- very traditional grappler, peppino actually already takes some poses from him while doing certain grabs in pizza tower +rtemkin- considered to be the "best" (in terms of tier placement) incarnation of potemkin, a guilty gear grappler with a lot of really cool tools that really shine at high execution. "grappler with a shoryu" - a shoryu, or a shoryuken/DP is a reversal with an invincible startup. peppino's uppercat animation resembles a shoryuken, hence he gets one. grapplers dont usually get these for balance reasons

noise: kohaku- meddling trap-placement character in melty blood, big trickster that puts things around that youll run into trying to get to her essentially, though shes got really good offense on her own faust- item toss character thats really good at keeping you at whatever range he wants you at onscreen midrange zoner- wants to keep you away, but not at fullscreen, so he can keep putting you into bullshit

pepperman: "big body but not a grappler" - big bodies usually have more health/defense and "armor" on their moves in exchange for slower movement and better payoff "maybe hes doing some tekken shit" - yeah "definitely has counters" - a counter move is a parry that automatically grants you a counterattack

gustavo and brick: relius- guy with good offense who controls a second body on a separate resource meter to lock down pressure

vigi: keepaway characters traditionally have less health than others to make you REALLY worry about getting caught; the noise prefers midrange but vigi prefers full-range and has efficient tools for arena escape

feppi: "what if rainbow mika was dan hibiki" - ok this one has layers. rainbow mika is a disciple of zangief and thus plays somewhat similarly, with more emphasis on speed and such. dan hibiki is a joke "worse" version of ryu command grab rekkas - rekkas are moves in multiple parts/moves that branch into multiple paths. like A->B->C or A->B-or-C->D. rekkas tend to give characters really cool routing abilities and a more free-flowing playstyle command movement- a move that makes a character perform a special action rather than necessarily an attack, like a teleport or a dodge

pizzahead: i mean hes there(*)

noisette: a "shoto" is a function like ryu or ken, very much the white bread of fighting games but always welcome and usually very fun and expressive to pick up. usually has a projectile and a shoryuken, at least

pizzelle: shoto was explained on the noisette slide 👍 chipp and millia are both characters that focus on incredibly pressure and high combo counts, but have low health and poor defense to balance it out. basically speed demons

pizzano: SUPER ARMOR means you can hit him but it Will Not Stun Him. characters that super armor through shit are usually seen as Scary as Hell but also tend to be slower, big-body damage sponges. i think pizzano can move tho "this mf has divekicks" - this mf has divekicks "what if viewtiful joe was big and scary" - viewtiful joe is generally regarded to be a lower tier character in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3: one of the smallest and slowest characters, with a lot of quirky bullshit that requires a lot of high execution but also a tv pose spotdodge (spotdodge: stay in place and avoid an attack). making vjoe 1. big 2. move better 3. not die instantly the second he gets touched by a magneto would create a horrifying force

gumbob: honest footsies gumbob he has a raging demon

stinky: usually characters with executional difficulty are higher up on the tierlist of a game (like arakune from blazblue and johnny and i-no from ggxrd), but sometimes this is not true (like angel from kof, who is the hardest character in the game to learn but considered one of the worst despite it all) i think stinky would be somewhere in the middle; a character that gives you arthritis to play and has a lot of expression, but gets shut down easy and can have his setups blow up in his face incredibly easy

if anyone else out there has any thoughts on this matter i would love to hear them. im insane.

(*) i dont actually hate pizzahead or anything i think hes really fun. he just baffles me in the way that hes popular and i think im just tired of seeing the popular depictions of him. godspeed pizzahead lovers do not hurl bricks at my window

I have a few teams I use often!!! I don't think I need to explain their roles since it's self-explanatory + it's becoming increasing apparent that because of Kazuha, I need grouping in every team lol

Boring answer would be Childe-National ig. He's so underbuilt even though he's triple-crowned because of my dang artifact luck. But XL-Kazuha-Bennett helps him carry anyways lmao. Childe is so much fun idc if this is a predictable answer. Alternative is using Lyney instead of Childe. Lyney and his Aqua Simulacra is me teasing Childe that he can't do big damage (even though Childe is consistent lmao)

Ayato-Diona-Yunjin-Mika/Chongyun is fast as hell, absolutely busted of a freeze-team. I love using this a ton. Ayato never leaves my party anyways so any team with him is just gold. Ayato is the DPS and the rest are there for S P E E D. My alternative freeze is Ayaka-XQ-Kazuha-(any healer/Baizhu) on the other side of the abyss whenever I feel like I use Childe too much.

I call Alhaitham-Kuki-Sucrose-XQ team educational lmao. Idk if that's an actual team name for them, but they're so fun to use together. That and it's always nice to go "Alhaitham no— ALHAITHAM—" when I mess up on the jump. Can you tell I play on mobile.

Crack DPS Baizhu-Yaoyao-Fischl-Mona is the funniest thing too. My Mona is underleveled as hell but I gotta use my accidental C1 Baizhu to good use (this would've been you Kaveh but you refused to give me cons and now look at Baizhu—). I've used DPS Yaoyao at some point. That 4-star polearm in the shop works wonders on her HAHAHAHA

Headcanon (?): I like to headcanon that Ayaka knows what she's doing a lot. It's just hard for me to comprehend what happened in the Inazuma AQ otherwise. I can't wrap my head around the idea that Ayaka is 100% sweet and the perfect housewife the internet portrays her as, etc. Same goes with Thoma. He's a fixer. In real life, that's a person who handles illegal arrangements. Add that with the fact that Ayato is not exactly a clean guy (ahem, let's not forget he has child soldiers), I think Ayaka is just aware of how she's pulling your heartstrings. She's consciously using the people's suffering and her loneliness to you stay. And idk why this take is such a bad thing?? Why is girlboss!ayaka such a questionable headcanon lmao.

(Crack) Theory: I'm not some 1000 IQ theorist but I still think your other twin is a clone since they're not a descender. Idk. I just don't think they're the sibling you think they are hAHAHAH. This is probably so incorrect but idc. I love him don't think that's my sibling anymore man 😭

Physical DPS Mika complete :D I wasn't expecting much and just wanted to run him for fun but he's surprisingly really good! One of my best built units tbh!!

Running 2pc/2pc on the physical sets with Homa (80/80), 8/8/6 talents at level 80/80. His current team is with Rosaria (cryo res, nobless buff plus ~10% crit rate), Fischl (battery plus electro) and Yun Jin (normal atk buff). He's been hitting 19k normal attacks fairly regularly (not tried with food yet) and can do more if I max him and Homa to 90 and crown talents etc. He's super fun so far! :D

#only stat not shown here is physical%. he has 108.3 from bloodstained/paleflame/goblet :)#rosaria is c3 and he is c2 so there is still room for improvement eventually. especially with rosa at c6. done for now though!!#back to farming emblem...

I'm bored, so i'm gonna main a random character || p1

Hello everyone! A bit of a different post for today but I wanted to switch things up. I really enjoyed making my last series so today i'll be starting a new one where I document my whole process of building + maining a new character for a bit

For those of you that like my more educational content, i'd still love if you stuck around for this one because it will cover a lot of my thought process and you might be able to pick up some tips along the way.

Let's begin!!

╰┈➤ part one : ̗̀➛ goals

Obviously the description of "building and maining" a character is kinda vauge. So, here are the criteria i'm giving myself for this challenge

: ̗̀➛ level 90 the character

: ̗̀➛ crown a talent. This one is a maybe but i'd like to do it. Consider it an "extra credit" assignment for myself lol

: ̗̀➛ all artifacts have the correct stats + correct set

: ̗̀➛ at least a 60/120 or 70/140 crit ratio

: ̗̀➛ a complete team for them (not a team that will carry them though, aka hyperbloom)

: ̗̀➛ a "functional team". A team that isn't just for the showcase, but is somewhat practical for everyday use

: ̗̀➛ kill a boss with the team in a somewhat impressive amount of time. I'm not talking any crazy nukes since my Mona isn't built yet but around 5-10 seconds is the goal. I'm not gonna try to reach 100k or anything crazy with them though since if it's a "bad" character that's probably a waste of my resources

╰┈➤ part two : ̗̀➛ selecting the character

ok, so you have no reason to trust me on this but I 100% promise the character I get is the first one I roll.

I plugged all my unbuilt (all level 60 or below) characters into a wheel and, incase you're curious, here's the list:

Lynette, Mika, Candace, Dori, Yun Jin, Kirara, Gorou, Thoma Chongyun, Dehya, Charlotte, Freminet, Faruzan, Heizou, Mona, Kayea, Ninnguang, Kujou Sara, Amber, Razor, Collei

Gonna spin it now and then immediately write my first thoughts so, here we go!

Ok I got Candace! Honestly not too sure how to feel about this. One one hand her infusion should allow her to function as a DPS but since she's HP scaling, my options are limited when it comes to choosing teammates. Honestly, I think I can do this. ALSO she's super pretty and I love her design which is a plus. The wheel allllmost landed on Charlotte which is a bit of a bummer because I was eventually planning on building her but, oh well

╰┈➤ part three : ̗̀➛ build and team ideas

if you aren't interested in this kinda thing, skip to the end this section for a summary :D

ok, now I actually have to figure out a build for her. Before looking at any guides, the sets that stick out to me for maybe being viable are:

Nymph's Dream for Hydro damage bonus and attack. The attack won't boost her skill or burst damage but could help her normal attacks especially since her scalings are less than impressive. But the fact that a) one of the stats is useless for 2/3 of her kit and b) that the domain is super inefficient to farm + I have no preexisting pieces for it makes me not want to go for this set

The second set that once I immediately was drawn to after thinking of it was Marrechausse Hunter. Not only does it boos her normal and charges attack damage, but the 4pc will help a ton with crit stats. Of course, this does mean running her with Furina but I promise i'll take off her artifacts once it's time for a showcase since her summons will 100% destroy everything. The other benefits of this set are that I already have a few pieces and that I don't mind farming it for Noelle and Furina

Unfortunately the KeqingMains guide for Candace is only up to date with 4.3 but looking at the artifact section, 2pc/2pc is only 3-5% worse than Nymph's Dream. From this I think it's safe to assume that Marechausee Hunter will be at worst, only a bit less damage than ND

note: I asked on the KQM discord and it seemed like people agreed

As for weapons, I unfortunately don't have any 5 star Polearms so my options are kinda limited. Of the polearms I have, the only one that I think could work is White Tassel but with 4pc MH the crit rate might be too much when factoring in CR from substats

Other than that, Missive Windspear could work for Vaporize

I could also use Dragon's Bane for EM but atp I'm just gonna wait till artifacts are done

note from the future that i'm adding later: will probably go with missive windspear

Finally, it's time to decide a team

Because of her set, Furina is needed. I should also slot in Kazuha because it's Kazuha. For the last slot, I have a few choices

Bennet is an obvious choice for the Attack. I could also go Xiangling on 4pc Tenacity for Attack + Attack from passive + Pyro application. Probably a worse choice than Bennett

A strange but not horrible choice would actually be Lisa! Her ascension passive shreds the DEF of enemies. She can run 4pc Noblesse to buff attack and as a catalyst, can use TTDS for even more attack!

I think i'll try both Bennett and Lisa in the final showcase to see which has more damage

As for the practical team, I think a Taser (electrocharged) team with Sayu/Beidou/Furina would be a ton of fun. I chose Sayu for the teamwide heal bc I don't have Jean and she's already built

Honestly this practical team ig getting me kinda excited to play her!

Artifact Set: 4pc Marechausse Hunter

Artifact Substats: ATK/Hydro DMG/Crit DMG

Team 1: Furina (no artifacts so she doesn't destroy the enemies)/Kazuha/Bennet or Lisa

Team 2: Sayu/Furina/Beidou

Unfortunately neither her talents or the weapon materials are available today and I already condensed my resin so I'm just gonna farm level up mats lol

Eu tinha prometido pra mim mesma que nunca na minha vida eu pararia de falar com você, e sério, essa motivação estranha pra não fazer isso continua gritando, apesar dos apesares. Eu sei que nesses três meses se a gente se falou duas vezes foi muito, e eu sinto muito por isso, d vdd. Qualquer pessoa normal ligaria isso ao fato de eu ter começado a ficar com a lais e etc, claro que, teve algumas partes disso, mas não foi por causa dela que isso rolou, isso eu posso te garantir. Eu podia até ter explicar, mas eu sei que no fundo nada vai tirar isso da sua cabeça, e quer saber? eu não te culpo por isso:(. Esses três meses foram os piores, e eu juro, se agora eu to melhor, é por que eu não quero te perder. Eu to tirando força de onde eu não tenho por que só de pensar que um dia a gente pode ser estranhas uma pra outra, me da vontade de morrer. Enfim, so pra deixar claro, de um tempo pra ca eu tava me esforçando muito pra tentar falar com você, não pra tentar manter uma rotina ou sla, mas por que falar com vc me deixa bem.

At this moment, we know that #45 has definitely revealed who he is, and what he stands for. There are so many things he has said, that came out of his own mouth, that definitely isn't fake news, no matter how much his supporters want to spin that.

In 2016, Trump retweeted an image negatively comparing the looks of his wife Melania Trump, a former fashion model, and Heidi Cruz, the wife of then-primary rival, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas.

Cruz went on offense, defending his wife: "Donald, real men don't attack women. Your wife is lovely, and Heidi is the love of my life."

So what is it with Trump and blood anyway? He directed these offensive comments toward MSNBC anchor and "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brezinski. As The New York Times reported:

"The president described Ms. Brzezinski as "low I.Q. Crazy Mika" and claimed in a series of Twitter posts that she had been "bleeding badly from a face-lift" during a social gathering at Mr. Trump's resort in Florida around New Year's Eve. The White House did not explain what had prompted the outburst, but a spokeswoman said Ms. Brzezinski deserved a rebuke because of her show's harsh stance on Mr. Trump."

YES - they really did go with the "she was asking for it" defense.

Trump has said some pretty terrible things about women during his 71 years of wandering this Earth. But these remarks to a former "Access Hollywood" host might be the sine qua non to understanding his attitude.

'Some, I assume, are good people.'

The racist gaffe heard 'round the world: Trump said of Mexico.

"They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

These are quotes and tweets this man who is supposedly running our country has said. How great have we've become in these last 4 years? Were we having more racial unrest than ever? When black men are being hung once again? When he stirs the pot by saying "Stand by and stand tall"

When he calls people who are not like him names, when he belittle and demeans women? When he is trying to divide us instead of bringing us together?

This man is out for himself and his "white friends" he doesn't care about anyone but himself. He literally wants us to go back into the 50's where blacks had no rights, women had no choice and the LGBT community were in the closet. Instead of moving us forward, he is moving us backwards.

So today my friends, remember all of this when you vote but more importantly remember this if you are not voting, if you think your vote doesn't count, if you are undecided, this is what you are voting for. This is the character of the man who wants to run our country for four more years.

This vote is literally depending on you, it is your life. Your vote affects the women in your lives choice, if you're black or of color this could mean life or death for you and your loved ones. If you are LGBT or know someone that is this is a vote to keep them free and living how they want to.

Please, please... I am begging you to vote as if your life depends on it because it does.
