Guests posing on the edge of the mountain 1,000 m, despite the danger of life
Protruding at an altitude of nearly 1,000 m, the rock on the Mount Pedra da Gavea (Brazil) attracts many adventurous visitors to take photos that make viewers nervous and breathless.
Recently, the video of a woman standing on a craggy mountain quickly spread on social networks. Specifically, this person poses at the almost vertical angle of Mount Pedra da Gávea and throws his hand into the air.
The camera is located on the edge of the mountain, where the height is nearly 2,800 feet (about 1,000 m) above the ground in Rio De Janerio, Brazil. To get the beautiful footage, the woman was not afraid to climb to the top of the cliff – the danger zone was warned. After that, the camera is panned to the left to get a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean, the beach, the mountains and the whole city.
Under the post, some of the accounts agreed to share equally reckless photos at the same location. Meanwhile, many others are skeptical about the “miracle” of the girl, some even consider it a “trick” view.
Sarah_got_cake account commented: “My heart pounded when I saw the adventure video she uploaded”. “My hands were soaked with sweat as I watched her every move,” said MBYoungBoy’s account. “The person who shoots this video must also be heartbroken,” another account commented.
On the contrary, some people are supportive of this bold idea of filming. Account 100LCKJ said: “A little challenge will help you create selfie photos for life”. However, “the cost is very expensive,” Doyouhaveaflag’s account responded.
Visit travel website Brazil claims that Pedra da Gávea is “the world’s largest monolithic cliff” and it is also one of the most beautiful views of Rio de Janeiro from above. “Visitors can reach the top of the rock after a three-hour hard trip,” the site said.
According to a global study, from 2011-2017, at least 259 people died while taking selfies here.
