Tried to “lolita-ify” a summer dress I made a about a decade ago. Added a ruffle to the bottom and ribbon bows at the straps and waist. However, my body has...erm, changed a bit since my early teens, so the bodice no longer fits (unless I don’t wear a bra! Definitely not getting a blouse under it for a real lolita coordinate) and the waist was not cut in the proper place at all (it wasn’t part of the pattern - I added a separate gathered skirt myself). Should I try to let out the bodice and re-cut the waist? Or should I scrap the bodice altogether and just turn it into a skirt?
