A couple recent arrivals; First up is Paige. She's a Kindred Hearts doll, I found her on Amazon. I did originally buy her with the intent to put the gray magic wig on her, but Noelle has that now, so at the moment, Paige remains a brunette. Then there's Kat, she's an OG doll I got on sale (woo!), and her pup (also on sale, woo!), Sir Reginald Yipperton (But we're all friends here, so you may call him Yippy). Jenny took the new girls out on a tour of the yard,...Well, she also swiped some of their clothes, and Jada's, but then replaced what she took with Felicity's AG stuff to make up for it, and then they went out on the tour. Meet Jada! She's actually an Adora Amazing Girls Zoe doll, somehow I thought her name was Jada when I ordered her, and I do like the name, so yeah, Jada. I'm still on the lookout for 18" dolls, and other than AG and Jenny my vintage department store doll, Jada is one of the few that I've actually seen smiling with her teeth, so I grabbed her. Unlike my other 18" dolls so far, she has vinyl shoulders and a swivel neck, so that's interesting too. She came with a Winter coat, so right out of the box, we went for a stroll in the snow. Welcome to the doll troupe Jada! 😀 . . I kept seeing Na! Na! Na! Surprise dolls online, and because they have a low key way of telling you which "surprise" doll was in the box before you open it, I managed to order what I knew would be a Jeremy Hops (I just wanted somebody cute, with short hair, so boy doll it is), but I still had to go throuh this doll's kooky onboxing process. - It involves inflating a balloon and glitter bombing yourself, and that was its own advenure because I thought I could do it without glitter going everywhere, but I was wrong,...So, so wrong...There are things I like about this doll, he is cute and semi-posable, but there are things I don't like too. I can't take his hat off. (I love making hats, so bummer there) And he's probably not going to be able to do much adventuring because, well it's weird, because this doll definitely has a posable rubber body, but they also gave him plush/stitched skin. He's not quite a plush doll, not quite a vinyl doll. Sounds like he's going to be super tough to keep clean. Not sure if I'll ge any more. A package arrived today - Stockings from @pommedollies on Etsy. I usually don't splurge on nice handmade clothes for my own dolls ( And I mostly make them for your dolls 😊 ), but I have no real plans to make stockings, and these are so unique - I got a few for the Blythes, one for Sammy (she's the only Pullip), and then one Monster High sized pair too. Planning on using them more when it's not Summer, but you can't have new clothes arrive and not try them on, now can you?
