I did film production, so it was mostly a practical course, I had no exams for it. The first two years were like split into three with deadlines being October, March and may, I think, it was a while ago 😅 but 3rd we had a big film which was basically all year, I think we submitted it in March and then we had a dissertation and a portfolio
Ah okay well that’s alright then that you finish early so you’ve got the time, but yeah staying on campus would be better, I always struggled doing stuff at home!
Ah yeah they do seem like time consuming ones, which are always the worst to get done, did you get your laundry done? And how do you have that many potatoes like that’s so many to cook at once 😱 but potatoes aside what big meal did you cook yourself?
How have you only just unpacked your clothes? Like it’s been what 3 months 😂
Yeah, I mean I only had two flatmates so majority of my friends came from the course cause that’s who I hung around with the most
Ah that makes sense I don't think I've spoken to many creative students to know when their deadlines but it would make sense that they're at a different point. Honestly I'd take my lil essays over a big creative project it sounds so much more stressful and consuming
I'm on a foundation year this year, so I like barely have class 😅 Yeah the pandemic really proved to me that I cannot work from home, is the wrong mindset
I did get my laundry done, I haven't put it away though cus I ran out of hangers so I will need to reorganise again. I kinda ran out of food the other day cus a few things went off so I just bought food with the intention of freezing it all so I didn't have the same problem idk. I made roast so thats what I'll be having this week, honestly I was just craving potatoes and gravy
Yeah not gonna lie is pretty bad. At first it was cus I was waiting for my hangers to come out of storage and then obviously I had the clean all of the wardrobe and every hanger. But that point I'd gotten used to leaving clothes in their bags and suitcase. Then it was cus my wardrobe was tiny so I needed to retrieve my storage boxes from my old flatmate in scotland, but it kept not being a good time to visit. Finally got them after joking that he was holding my stuff hostage not last weekend but the weekend before I think it was that I visited? And I cleaned them last weekend but still didn't want to start the job of organising so here I am 3 months later......
I had like a dozen assigned flatmates first year and I have 3 this year but there's only 6 people total on my course and the last 2 years I only saw my classmates on zoom so it's mainly been flatmate interactions for me
