Personally... Not only do I want season 3 of dndads to be a completely new set of families (I'll miss the kiddads more than anything but please let all these characters rest I can't do another season of next to no catharsis leave the work to the fix-it fics), I also hope it's in a different version of earth and the forgotten realms entirely, tbh. I want Anthony to give himself (and the rest of the cast) the room to start a brand new story, to redefine the rules of the world, to set new stakes, to reimagine death and what it means for a character to die, and maybe if we're lucky to explore some new planes of existence? Oh, and more than anything I hope it's four aunts. Whoever made that post a while back about S3 being four aunts who care to varying degrees about their nieces and nephews, the idea stayed in my mind forever and I want it so bad *please*.

with the little information we know about season three, I can’t help but speculate what comes next

I kind of imagine a full new storyline with four new dads and four new families somehow. I saw anthony comment on another reddit post that he’s going to be taking a break from dming (also confirmed in teen talk) I wondered what it would be like if that lasts into season three.

so here are some dads I’d like to see him be (ft. some ideas for everyone else). he’s so very talented and I desperately would love to see what he does with each of these ideas or any of his own.

as jarring as it is to know that theres only a few episodes left of the season. i definitely respect anthony's decision to just end it. hes been VERY vocal that he does not like how it all went and sometimes you just gotta end it and move on yknow. dont get me wrong, i have definitely enjoyed s2, but ill agree that it has felt pretty frustratingly aimless at times. personally i just cant really blame them for speeding through to the resolution recently, working on a project that you have no passion for/just isnt going how you wanted fucking SUCKS

the more i think about it the more i don't actually know what route season three would take since in s1 obviously we had the kids as material but i do have one idea

i *really* would like to see some kiddads pre/right after code purple

because yeah we can assume what steps they took to get to where they are in s2 but i want the meat of it. why did they really start d.a.d.d.i.e.s.??? has grant ever tried therapy???? why did all four of these men decide to get married and reproduce and why did one of them fuck his twins wife???? yknow????

i don't know how that would work out plot wise because obviously at that point we'll know how season 2 ends and is 'resolved' (i don't think it will be, spoiler alert) but i am literally desperate for more kiddad content
