The New Card Game Project has been revealed

My thoughts under the cut

To all who hoped for The Project to be something else, please don't direct your frustration at the Web series itself. The Artists, Writers, etc., surely worked hard on it and are really excited about the reveal, and the decisions of the higher ups and company aren't their fault.

Digimon Liberator didn't rob you of what you were hoping for. It wasn't coming to begin with.

Sorry if it sounds harsh, I personally would have much preferred an online client for the game, but that doesn't mean the Digimon Liberator can't be good. I think it's a good sign that they have the next story already lined up with Seekers reaching their end. The web series can also be enjoyed by people who don't play the card game in real life. It might even get more people into it.

Key art for the Digimon Adventure 25th Anniversary Cafe to be hosted by andGallery was revealed today.

It features the kids and their mons holding onto the floating balloons of the mons in-training forms. This one doesn’t really need a breakdown but I have to say the recent consistency in providing amazing illustrations that truly capture the nostalgia for a milestone anniversary plus keep the essence of the original series alive has been a real blessing.

Details about the menu plus merchandise available will be shared at a later date, and the entry to the cafe will be restricted through a lottery system, which is a bummer but pretty standard these days in Japan. The upside is that it will be held in 3 locations, Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, which will give more fans an opportunity to secure a visit.

This news was accompanied by the tease of a new card releasing in the set out on March 29th, featuring Taichi & Yamato in their Our War Game designs (an extremely rare occurrence).

So, a bit of a life update real quick, and I'm gonna run it down in numbers because it's easier for me.

1. Life has been quite busy for me. I'm working a full time job and a part-timer at one of my locals on the weekend, so, if there's any delays please take it easy on me. I am a one Duelist band.

2. I've been working on a new article about Structure Decks. I need to get it proofread and edited and I'll post it after that.

3. I will be attempting to get out a new article biweekly as soon as my computer is fixed. My computer guy is a friend of mine who's also been swamped with life.

4. Starting next weekend, I will be posting pictures of cards from my collection on one of my playmats.

5. I'm currently working on opening a Ko-fi, both to use as a tip jar but also to have potential commissions on for writing or deck doctoring. If I start making enough, I'll be doing a monthly Yu-Gi-Oh purchase with what I've made and will share what I've bought on here when it arrives.

6. I would also like to begin using this account for other things. Like art or just my ramblings. I'm interested in the Digimon TCG, so I'll write an article on what I think after me and a friend play around with the starters.

I know this has been my 3rd update, and I don't want these to sound like excuses, I'm just saying what's happening.

Tbh I kinda wish they just brought back the original Digimon card game but added more digimon and other cards.

It would make it more affordable because there would already be a card pool many could start with.

And this whole problem of them always being sold out or unavailable would be a lot better.

Scrolling through the digimon tag to see reposts of my Tri Anniversary graphics...I thought you guys hated Tri 😭 what is this behaviour pooja

One of them feels like a honest mistake though so I'm hoping that user will be nice enough to respond.

The other one is definitely a serial reposter, and the number of notes on it are concerning. I hope they respond, I raised a request with tumblr as well but as far as I know, they don't do much for graphics/gifs (such is the sad life of editors).

I'll block the user in a few days I guess, I was planning to post new stuff today but I will hold off on it till I get a response on this.

Ever since my partner got me into the new Digimon TCG, I try to keep up with new releases and teasers. Not neccessarily to buy them, usually just so I can see the pretty art.

Anyway, Feresmon got a new card teased and...
