Update: My Mood Board Binder & Diary🍭🍪

I previously said that my binder wasn't finished and that I really wanted to chain a pen to it and I've just finished up customizing a journal I just purchased and creating a detachable pen chain for the furry pink pen I chose to attach.

I originally intended to purchase a completely new chain and some other bits to attach the pen to the binder but I reused an old necklace that no longer fits my aesthetic. First, I removed the "lobster" clasp from my necklace and pierced it through the loop I made to hold the pen in the first place, and I took the jump ring attached to the chain, clipped it into the clasp, and on the other end, I attached another jump ring to a small index card ring and clipped that to the first binder ring. I hope that made sense. (matter of fact I'll insert pictures.)

I purchased the journal at my local target and used the same foam I used on the cover of my binder for the cover of my journal, This was a lot easier of a process because it's much smaller. I wanted it to match so I used the same washi tape I used on my binder and used the same self-adhesive jewels on the outside. And the bow in the center was a last-minute decision. I made it from the same foam material and my hot glue gun was right by my side the whole entire time. ;)
