I was able to focus all of my frustration on this f*cking coyote (for the most part), but enough is enough. Scott did jackshit this whole season. He needed to be saved 4-5 times. The last time we saw him, he got himself kidnapped. The only thing Scott did the entire season was biting Liam and, I give him that, saving Lori (while also turning into a demon wolf). Who stopped the Deadpool? Not Scott.

Just earlier today, I watched a YouTube video about CAoS, and the guy mentioned something he calls PCS - Perfect Character Syndrome:

"Perfect Character Syndrome happens when writers refuse to acknowledge that their protagonist has flaws. They want the character to always be the center of attention, to always be right, to always be winning, and always be on top. As a result, the flaws of the character that annoy audiences are not intentional. They're not a part of the character. Instead, they're a direct consequence of the inconsistent writing that is in conflict with how the writers perceive their character. " (here's the link)

And honestly, I couldn't have said it better myself. This is exactly why I don't like Scott. Everything revolves around Scott, even if he's done nothing to deserve any type of praise. Season 4 is a perfect example of it because, like I said, Scott didn't do anything. Lydia and Stiles worked on stopping the Deadpool tirelessly. They almost got killed in the process. Scott didn't do anything, and he still almost got killed multiple times in the process — if other people hadn't swooped in to save him.

In s3 we had Derek praising Scott out of nowhere for no reason. We have Lydia praising Scott even though she hardly interacted with him the whole season. And now, there's Brett, out of fucking nowhere, telling Liam how lucky he is that he has Scott as an alpha. And the thing is, I could forgive Brett for liking Scott if he had said: "Scott saved Lori." Because I get it, Scott protected his sister. But this isn't enough for the writers. They had to pretend as if Scott solved all their problems, as if Scott saved everybody's life, as if Scott stopped the Deadpool singlehandedly.

And that's just not the case. It's not. And it's pissing me off that the show acts as if we haven't seen Stiles and Lydia stop the Deadpool ONE EPISODE AGO. It's like JD and his gang thinks we're stupid. With writing like this, you shouldn't be surprised if most of the audience dislikes your protagonist. Seriously.
