Japón, decidida a eclipsar a Alemania en su estreno en Qatar

El seleccionador de Japón, Hajime Moriyasu, reconoció la deuda histórica que el fútbol de su país tiene con Alemania, pero afirma que su equipo no estará menos decidido a eclipsar a los tetracampeones del mundo en el debut en el Mundial este miércoles.

El alemán Dettmar Cramer es conocido como el padre del fútbol japonés moderno tras su trabajo en el país en la década de 1960, y jugadores como Lukas Podolski y Pierre Litbasrki han jugado en Japón desde entonces.

"Estamos muy agradecidos a los alemanes, son un modelo a seguir para nosotros", declaró Moriyasu en una rueda de prensa el martes.

"Todavía nos estamos desarrollando, por supuesto, y al mismo tiempo hemos incorporado buenas cualidades de Japón a nuestro estilo de juego.

"Así que tenemos una especie de sentimientos encontrados por jugar contra Alemania, pero no importa quién sea nuestro rival, vamos a dar absolutamente el mejor rendimiento que podamos".

El intercambio de jugadores entre Japón y Alemania se ha invertido en los últimos años, y el capitán Maya Yoshida es uno de los siete miembros de la plantilla de los Samuráis Azules que juega en la Bundesliga.

"Los jugadores de la Bundesliga han compartido información con el resto de la plantilla", afirmó el defensa del Schalke 04.

"Lo más importante es defender bien. Puede que no tengamos muchas oportunidades de atacar, pero deberíamos tener ocasiones al contraataque".

"Creemos que tenemos posibilidades".

El Grupo E también incluye a la excampeona España, así como a Costa Rica, lo que supone para Japón su sorteo de primera ronda más difícil en su séptimo viaje consecutivo a la fase final de la Copa Mundial.

Rare 1973 fold out Barney Bubbles designed tour programme of similar format to the Hawkwind Log, with a nice narrative text & lyrics from key songs, including those from an embryonic 'Psychedelic Warlords'. These were given out free at Space Ritual tour shows & very few have survived, folding out to 15½" x 22" of double-sided goodness. This example displays some minor wear and age, with a tear on the right side and split in a couple of the folds, and small pen mark. This example includes a ticket stub for the 11th December show at City Hall in Newcastle, which has been boldly signed on the back by 'Yoo Hoo' Lemmy, Simon King, Dave Brock, Nik Turner and Del Dettmar in a black or blue point pen. Por otro lado este Liverpool consigue ser el único club inglés en toda la historia en ganar tanto como la Copa de Europa, la Supercopa de Europa y el mundial de clubes. Además Roberto Firmino y Alisson Becker se convierten en los primeros dos jugadores en la historia en ganar en mismo año la Copa de Europa, la Copa America, la Supercopa de Europa y el Mundial de Clubes. Por último y no menos importante, Jurgen Klopp se convierte en el tercer entrenador alemán en conquistar el mundial de clubes tras Dettmar Cramer (Bayern Múnich 1976) y Ottmar Hitzfeld (Bayern Múnich 2001). En fin, sé que aunque el año ha sido de ensueño para los aficionados reds, sé que cambiarían todo por una Premier League. Todo parece que después de esta gran ventaja en puntos probablemente este próximo Mayo 2020 el Liverpool de Jurgen Klopp dejará la oscura mancha de 30 años sin conseguir la liga inglesa. Pero pregunto, si hoy, en hipotético caso, estuvieran terceros en la liga sin ninguna oportunidad de conseguir el título, ¿cambiarían la Copa de Europea, la Supercopa de Europea y el Mundial de Clubes por la Premier League? Yo creo que sí...

1974. Hall of the Mountain Grill

is the fourth album by band Hawkwind, released in 6 September. It is regarded by many critics as a career highlight (in studio).

The album's title was a nod to Edvard Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King" and to a Portobello Road cafe called The Mountain Grill (now closed), frequented by the band in the early 1970s. The cover of a derelict spaceship in the mists of an alien lagoon was painted by the band's regular artistic collaborator, Barney Bubbles. The rear cover was by space artist David Hardy.

The record featured hard rockers like "The Psychedelic Warlords (Disappear in Smoke)" and "Lost Johnny" (subsequently recorded by bassist Lemmy's post-Hawkwind band Motörhead and also by co-writer Mick Farren with his band the The Deviants), psychedelia such as the heavily-phased "D-Rider" and "Web Weaver",

this is the quintessential hawkwind album, plenty of that ethereal space rock sound. The grill has it all from the pounding heavy metal of the earlier Space Ritual through to the gorgeous synth washed sounds that would define later works like spirit of the age. For an Hawkwind beginner i would suggest this album as a taster, although you can hear the newer direction that the band were heading in. this album really deserves to be revered alongside those albums as one of the best from the 'Lemmy' period.
