You thought I was just drawing David but SURPRISE I WAS DRAWING DAVID AND MAX. but really I don't even know what this is- a ref sheet? just normal art? idk.
Just a heads up though, this might not be their final designs (mostly on David's end) so yeah. And as en extension of that, their names might not be set in stone either (that being "RockyRoads" and "LemonSnap") :)
My boys... they deserve to be HAPPY, DAMN IT!

Anime Conventions You Can Attend Online in 2020
With SARS-CoV-2 continuing to shut down events and businesses, and the potential of a second wave coming later in the year, anime conventions have needed to adapt and consider the safety of bringing large groups of people close together.
As a result, many conventions have shut down for the year, promising to return next time, some have been postponed to see if the COVID-19 situation changes, and others have moved to virtual conventions to adapt to the current environment. For example, our own Crunchyroll Expo is now a virtual convention scheduled for September 4-6.
With all of the confusion and rapid changes though, it’s difficult to know what conventions are still going to happen at all in 2020. To help out, here’s a list of every anime convention still happening this year, including when it’s occurring and a link to its website for more information. Check back for updates as situations change.

More Concepts for Max's cutie mark (and some revisions)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And lastly, a suggestion from @kittykatrattie from my last post on Max's cutie mark:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Versions with and without the eye
Version 1 without the eye is because it's clearer in its meaning ig and Version 2 with the eye is because of the suggestion and what I said in the eye image about clairvoyance because-
That's what I think Max's special talent is! while I do think he is great at chaos and planning and being an evil lil shit, I think his true talent is seeing what others can't. And clairvoyance also leads into that good good detective shit which is great (clairvoyance being like wisdom and intelligence in DND for perception and investigation)
Also, Max is ABSOLUTELY a pyromaniac I very much agree.

I think he's warming up to astronauts <3
This is my part for what is technically an art trade now??? with @chettyspagetti ! I had a really fun drawing this, and I think it came out so good! Can you tell I really like blue and yellow accents on a maroon background?
Neil is a Unicorn (his hair covers his horn) and Space Kid is an Earth Pony! Once again they are drawn cutie mark-less. I always forget haha. but maybe Camp Campbell is for ponies who don't have cutie marks yet and that's why they have so many different camp activities? something to think about...
A lot of the detail got lost in the shading so here's a semi-shading free version so you can see their designs!
Tumblr media
I wanted to give Neil glasses but I couldn't make them work so I left them out.
And as always (as of recently anyway-) here's the song I listened to while drawing this!:

Also @deity-of-moffs cause

ANYWAY as I said before these are some designs of Max and Edward as ponies and also they're gay. Max is a Pegasus and Edward is an Earth Pony.

(X means that it is subject to change)
I like to imagine that they got transported into the MLP world somehow at around the start of camp and they've just had to find their place in it.
They set up their camp in the Everfree forest (as it's the closest to the camp because of the natural weather patterns and actual wild animals) and just stayed there.
They figured out the naming system and only started to give themselves names when they started to get cutie marks (the adults already had them, so they immediately chose names. They either chose their own names, someone from camp made a name for them and it stuck, or someone like Pinkie Pie met some of them, looked at their cutie marks, and then started guessing names to which they just said "Yup! That's it, that's my name..." idk
Maybe they find a way to get back like in Equestria girls and some of them stay in Equestria most of the time because of how peaceful and nice it is *cough cough* Max and David *cough cough* and just make a life there.
maybe Campbell would stay too. Maybe try and start a new scheme cause the government wouldn't know where he is...
Idk just some pony-obsessed rambles
Edit: JUST WANTED TO INCLUDE that the 3 main woodscouts (we don't count jermy he's a joke character and I don't care about him) and the 3 main flowerscouts are all included in this. They have to stay with the camp Campbell campers and learn to GET ALONG. (and that gives me a good reason to add pikemax HAHAHAHA)

Thinking about what Pikemax's pony names would be (cause of the art I did)
Before I tell you the names I came up with I need to say that I based Max's accents on Lemons and Limes (cause he's sour? get it? Also because of *glances over at the lemon boy animatic* yeah-)
So here are some that I came up with, feel free to add some or tell me your opinions on them:
Max:
LemonBitter (or alternatively, "BitterLemon")
CitrusSkies
LemonTwist/Twirl (Him doing gymnastics foretold by MLP name prophecy haha)
CitricMint 🍋🌿
LemonSnap (cause he snaps at you [he's a bitch])
Edward (Pikeman):
CherryWood (it sounds cute)
PinePike (cause pine tree and his name :P)
BrickBlaze (cause he's the color of bricks and I made his hair look like fire for some reason [and he's stubborn as a rock and talking to him is like talking to a brick wall haha])
SmirkSkater (he was a skater boy, she said see ya later boy-)
AlderScout (that's probably one of their ranks tbh)
CedarScout (his ACTUAL rank or whatever)
Also, I'm totally making them some cutie marks
If you wanna come up with anything here's the art I did for reference (and totally not cause it's the best thing I've ever done and I want an excuse to show it more):

Turns out that because of my crappy computer screen, ALL of the colors on my latest pieces of art were far too dark/unsaturated!
So I've fixed that.
Hope they look better now!
(P.S. I'm working on drawing up cutiemarks and names for the rest on my list!)

@r-e-v-o-l
Max is ABSOLUTELY a blank flank and he takes the longest to get his name. The others know their talents and skills so they fall into their cutiemarks quickly, while max just kinda, exists in the corner being mad at everything and that he doesn't have one of the "stupid magic tattoos" (his words)
2. Way ahead of you!
Tumblr media
Neil has twilight sparkle energy and shows it through having the same opinion of Harrison as Twighlight does for Trixie (except Harrison isn't doing the whole lying about killing an ursa major bit)
and Nikki is the wild Earth Pony type so it makes sense
3. Harrison is a Unicorn but Nerris is an Earth Pony (instead of fake ears they have a fake horn so they say they're a "Unicorn" and can do magic, much to Harrison's dismay)
Tumblr media
Thanks for taking the time! it means a lot that someone would wanna get in on this lol
