              A lot has changed in a year and a half since that infamous episode of Talking Smack aired which set the entire WWE Universe ablaze - everyone except Daniel. It was without a doubt one of the worst nights of his past two years. Having to sit there and listen to this loudmouth remind him that he wasn’t allowed to wrestle anymore. He wasn’t allowed to do the one thing he loved so much more than anything else. Daniel remembered sitting in his hotel room that night, silence filling the room while those angry thoughts flooding his mind.

              Fast forward to the present. Daniel Bryan was cleared the day that The Miz would be backstage for his Mixed Match Challenge semi-finals match. It was almost like fate was on his side for the first time in God knows how long and lined everything up so perfectly for him to have a talk with his old friend. He wasn’t sure how it would go. He wasn’t sure what he would say. There was no way he could pass this opportunity up.

              "I look forward to one day being able to give you everything that you have coming. I don’t know when it will be. I don’t know if I even have it in me anymore. I’m going to give it my best shot and I’m going to be grateful that I was given the chance to shut you up once and for all.” Daniel paused, tucked his head and looked down at the palm of his right hand. Though his dislike for this star was known for plenty of reasons, most of which people couldn’t blame him for, there was still some respect that needed to be given because as much as Daniel hated to admit it, the A-Lister has earned it. “May the better wrestler win the day it happens - if it happens.” Daniel continued as he extended his hand out for Miz to more than likely slap away.

“What are YOU doing here?” the former Smackdown Live Tag Team Champion questions as he approaches the man he once called a tag team partner; a rival at one point in time as well. Daniel was never sure how to react to seeing Kane. Sometimes he was happy to see him while other times he remembered when Kane brutally attacked him and became part of the reason he had to vacate his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. “Hold on. Wait a second...” he paused as it clicked. “You’re here because your brother decided to get himself involved in someone else’s business for no reason, is that so? I think you and your brother were better off staying at your home, or your little funeral home, or whatever it is.” But tonight, he was especially in a mood considering he and Rowan lost their championships in the most unfair of matches.

Introduction

So this is my first post,

I have long wanted to do a ranking of pro wrestlers because I have never agreed with the PWI simplistic win-loss way. I do, however, like keeping rankings in kayfabe A.) mostly because there is no statistical way to rank wrestlers ability, and B.) while not 100% true in WWE, most promotions still do put the best workers over.

How I Devised the Rankings

The rankings are composed via the two biggest and best wrestling databases going: Pro Wrestling DB and Cage Match. I will try to update the rankings on a weekly basis, probably on Sundays.

How I Calculate the Rankings

So I will keep a wrestlers overall win-loss record while also factoring in their title match win-loss. Number of matches in both categories will also be factored.                                                                                                                                     The point breakdown will be:

Match = .3 Win = .5 Loss = .-5 Title Match = 1 Title Win = .75 Title Loss = -.75

The sum of the points is then divided by 6 (because of the six categories). Three Top 25's for Men, Women, and Tag Teams will be created.

               His back was aching and there was this overwhelming sadness lurking inside of him. They were his friends and now they were permanently gone because of him. Regardless of what happened and what they did, Daniel couldn’t help but feel guilty because of it. It was the good inside of him that he hated sometimes. This was his first match in nearly three years though. Those emotions could be pushed to the side for the time being. The curtain was pushed to the side and Daniel was greeted by a round of applause from some of the crew. They were thanked and Daniel kept walking until he found the most important face in the crowd. Becky made him smile with ease. “How’d I do?” Daniel wondered, curious as to if he was showing any rust from his long time off.

               Daniel saw that stupid little smile on Maryse’s face as he was brought to the back. Of course, she was here to no surprise. Her husband was set to compete in the Mixed Match Challenge. “Smile now but one day I’m gonna get my hands on that husband of yours because there’s NOTHING stopping me now. I’ll make sure to show him how a real man fights.” Anger was clear but most of that came from what happened at the hands of Owens and Zayn.
