Travis Yellowjackets will be like. loses his virginity to a girl, the next day she dies. the next time he has sex it's with his gf and he thinks about his emotional support cult leader. their sex may have also triggered the mystical force that may or may not be in the wilderness to dump a pile of snow on the pyre to perfectly slow cook the girl he gave his virginity to's body. that night eats that girl's two month old corpse, alongside with his gf and his cult leader. AND he's not even the most fucked up character in the show.

Thinking about the yellowjackets and who they kept in contact with and how.
Shauna and Tai meeting up like they're having an affair; using burner phones and meeting at a predetermined location without telling their spouses. Shauna and Nat having Misty's number on their main phones so they know not to answer. Lottie being the only one to have Travis's new identity and number before he died, to be invited to his house, linked by their continued search for that darkness inside them. Tai being the only one to not only keep contact but keep supporting Nat, feeling that she owes it to her.

I love ianthe tridentarius so much. I love her villain monologue after becoming a lyctor, how it also doubles as an instructional manual for how to become one for the others (because she's a giver!!)

Saera Silverstruck—born Saedria Vandree—was the youngest high priestess in the history of her house, achieving the role before her hundredth year. She was dedicated to her duties and favored by Lolth, and a particularly proficient assassin. Her ability to kill, or arrange a killing, and pin it on a rival house made her indispensable within her house.
Things remained much the same, though her great-grandmother died, in remarkably benign circumstances, making her mother Sabrea the Matron of House Vandree. Then fate stepped in, a surface raid brought down many slaves, and sacrifices for their goddess. Particularly, a tiefling bard, who the Lady Saedria found particularly fascinating.
She chose him to entertain her in her chambers, he would tell her tales of the surface, each night ending the story with a twist, leaving it incomplete, and she would let him live until morning. This continued for months, Saera found herself falling for him, and one night he asked for a kiss in exchange for the end of the story.
He would warm her bed after that, she kept him close, exposing more of her raw emotions than she should have, despite the whispers that circled her, that she was too enamoured with her slave. Eventually, Saera confessed something that she had never voiced, she wanted to leave the Underdark He encouraged this, and eventually the pair agreed to leave for the surface and build a life together, they imagined where they would lives, the children they would raise, free from darkness and endless webs.
Before they could go however, Sabrea learned of their plot, and had Kalen killed in front of Saera. That night, she realized that she was pregnant.
Saera shirked her duties after that, without an escape, without an end to it all, she simply couldn't bring herself to continue the act of being High Priestess. She spent weeks locked in her room, unwilling and unable to perform even the most basic of her duties.
This continued for weeks, until she felt the pains of labour, she crawled to the altar of Lolth and begging her for forgiveness. She would never be sure if it was dream or reality, but Saera has a vivid memory of Lolth appearing before her and leaning in to kiss her before spitting in her face. An hour later, she delivered a twisted drider child, dead before their first breath.
After that, Saera became almost manic, she would spend evenings at parties, had affairs with her mother's most hated rivals, and drank herself into a stupor every single night. Her sister tried to bring her out of it and when that failed, proposed a solution to both of their problems; Saera would kill their mother in public before fleeing for the surface.
Saera took her up on the offer, and the pair helped organized a gala at the Vandree compound. Sabrea was glad that her favored daughter was finally appearing to have returned to herself after her humiliating outbursts, and seemed none the wiser to her children's schemes. When the night arrived, Saera struck her mother through the heart during the middle of her speech.
The Vandree guards were quick to give chase but Saera somehow knew the weaknesses in their patrols and was able to escape them and emerge at the surface. She kept running even once she had emerged from the caves, until her feet were cut up from the foliage of the woods and her legs gave out from underneath her.
Saera wiped her face and looked up at the sky, the moon was full and beautiful and the stars looked exactly as Kalen had described them. It was then that she began to laugh. She had finally done it, she had escaped the Underdark. Kalen was gone but she could make that same life for herself without him.
Still laughing, she began to dance through the woods, revitalized by the sense of freedom and joy she now had. She then collapsed, and entered another strange dream or vision, where a giant drow woman visited her, complimenting her evensong, and kissing her over her left eye... which from then on would be a purple colour.
In the morning, Saera awoke in her clearing, to find a ruined shrine. She could tell it had once belonged to Eilistraee, but had been abandoned after her defeat by Lolth... Saera couldn't help but feel that it was her duty to restore it, to make it a home for herself and any others who escaped the Underdark.
Her shrine at Darkmaiden's Leap was small but popular, Saera would provide supplies and shelter to the runaways and the lost, and healing to the wounded, who always seemed to find their way there despite its remote nature. She grew close to the nature, finding even the smallest things on the surface fascinating, and Eilistraee blessed her with druidic powers so that she could observe the animals more closely.
For the next ten years, Saera embraced that quiet life, though isolated as she was, she couldn't help but feel that she wasn't doing as much good as she ought to, with all the blood she had spilled in Lolth's name.

House Maevret and Ithlinne Backstory
Tumblr media
House Maevret is barely considered a noble house at all, most nobles consider them only a few rungs above laborers, and yet they have carved out a niche for themselves that has made them powerful in their own way. The Maevrets have cultivated as much arcane knowledge as any other house, and their abjuration magic is second to none. The noblewomen spend their days weaving cloth enchanted with their protection magic, and their robes are sometimes exchanged for gold but they primarily trade in favor.
Ithlinne was born to Shiadhal Maevret, a particularly powerful sorcerer who couldn't have been more disappointed in her first daughter. After mothering two sons, both who turned out to be talented despite their sex, she had high hopes for her youngest... hopes that were dashed when Ithlinne revealed that she had none of her family's natural inclination for magic.
By age ten, she had been put aside by her mother; Ithlinne wasn't a sorcerer, nor was she strong, quick, or particularly clever, she was devout in her rituals but Lolth showed her no particular favor. Truly there was nothing her mother hoped for more than a second, more promising daughter. Ithlinne took to hiding in the compound's library, studying history and anatomy, which was when she learned the interesting history of her father's house, House Freth.
Many years ago, House Freth had been destroyed, and returned only through striking strange deals with the Cult of the Dragon, a society dedicated to serving undead dragon masters. This was the first time Ithlinne learned of the concept of a lich, an idea that would fascinate her for many years to come.
Having learnt this history, she began doing the strangest thing, seeking out and speaking to her father. Ithlinne's father was one of the three sons of the matron Erelal Freth, and a wizard of middling skill, he began to teach his daughter his manner of channeling the weave. And so at sixteen, she began to learn a form of magic.
To say that she excelled with this new teaching would be an overstatement, Ithlinne was a slow learner and always would be, but when she had a true passion for something she would put her entire focus on it, wearing it down like a wave against a cliff. She learned basic conjuration, some evocation... and finally convinced her father to teach her the simplest necromancy he knew.
As she grew older, her true passions remained with the concept of undeath, but Ithlinne had a role to fulfill, and eventually knew enough through study to replicate the complex glyphs her mother could weave with her eyes shut since she was a child. She also took over leading their chapel in service to Lolth, which both pleased her mother and herself.
After all, there were no rules on what must happen to the bodies once they had been killed in Lolth's name. No one else seemed to notice if a few went missing to further her studies in the passing of the soul and reanimation of the flesh.
A few decades passed like that, as calm as Menzoberranzan could be. Until her mother gave birth to another daughter. Nimue was everything Ithlinne wasn't, a perfect magical prodigy to further the line, with a sparkling personality and an easy air to her that Ithlinne had never had.
It was in Ithlinne's ninetieth year, and Nimue's fifth that her mother started trying to kill her.
The assassins caught her in the bath, her mother had clearly told them what she knew of her schedule and abilities, and they had come well-prepared. One had stabbed her between the shoulders with a poisoned blade before she could react, striking the other with lightning.
She wanted to master the ability to animate dead before informing anyone, the last thing she wanted was another failing for her mother to add to her list. This secret was probably the only thing that saved her. Having killed the first assassin, she was able to raise him as a zombie and set him on the second who did not expect it at all, keeping them away from her as she took the antidote that she always kept in a locket around her neck.
With the assassins dealt with, Ithlinne was faced with the knowledge that her mother wouldn't stop until she had either proven herself as heir, or gotten her out of the way so that her favored child could rule. Ithlinne was no fool, she knew her best option would be to leave, allow her mother to believe that she had succumbed to her wounds.
Taking only her spellbook and the few items she could carry, she left the cold comfort of her home.

Companion Hanusa Post
Tumblr media
Idle Animations
Runs a hand over her weapon, where she touches shimmers with light. Doubles over in pain, holding her stomach, before standing up and trying to shake it off. Pulls out a locket, opens and runs a finger along it, swaying slightly, before putting it away.
Voice and Body Language
Hanusa has a deep voice with an accent similar to Jaheira's, she is often quiet and rarely loud. She frequently flinches, at sounds or even at nothing at all, and will sometimes sway slightly as though she's about to collapse.
Approval
Hanusa prefers direct and pragmatic solutions to problems, and dislikes those who use guile to escape violence. She approves of most acts of violence and torture, though will always disapprove of abuse towards animals.
Romance
Hanusa's romance scene after the Grove is a sleepover, she invites you into her tent and confesses about her urges and killing Alfira. She admits that she could have tried harder to repress them, and asks if you still wish to pursue her. If yes, you continue talking until you fall asleep. In the night, you will wake up with her staring at you, blood on her hands. A perception check reveals that the blood is from herself, she's been digging her nails into her shaking hands. She reaches towards her love interest, holding their face with her blood covered hands and kisses them roughly.
Greetings
Negative (<0):
"What do you need now?" (Annoyed) "Yes?" (rubbing her temple) "I'm not in the mood. Speak quickly." "Don't waste my time."
Neutral (0-39):
(On edge, anxious) "Why are we stopping?" "How can I help?" (Rubbing the back of her neck) "What do you need me for?"
Approval High and Up (50+):
"Always good to see you." "What's wrong, my friend?" "I hurt less when you're around."
Flirting:
"Is it time for another sleepover?" "What's wrong, did you miss me?" "Hello beautiful... (giggles) sorry, too much?"
Partnered:
(Goofy smile) "Oh! Hello." (Winces in pain) "Sorry love, my head is pounding. What do you need?" "I'd never hurt you... you know that right?" "Ah my love. What can I do to help?"
(After completing the Dark Urge quest)
Accepted Bhaal:
(All lines are delivered in a lower, darker voice. None of her prior awkwardness is there but neither is her warmth.)
Companion:
"So... What shall we kill next?" "Now, now... don't look at me like that." (Dismissively) "Hm... what now?"
Romanced:
"If it isn't my favourite canvas." "I'll make time for you." "Hello my sweet. Need something?"
Rejected Bhaal:
(her tone is lighter, less worried.)
Companion:
"Haven't had enough of me?" "So, which god are we pissing off today?" "It's a good day to be alive."
Partnered:
"You give me strength." "Whatever comes, we'll face it together." "I missed your voice." (Laughing) "Can't stay away, can you?"
