Masterpost of AUs
As promised, here's the (wip) masterpost of all my AUs. In alphabetical order with a short synopsis, and the tags are all on this post so you can easily search them up :) if there's any I missed, please send them to me so I can get them added! If the laat tags aren't alphabetized that means I need to get on my laptop and move them around lmao
Bittersweet Reunion AU
TFA AU wherein the jet twins are Starscream's offspring specifically produced by the autobot government, and their finding out kicks off an entire domino effect storyline
Blitzbee Baby AU
Exactly what it sounds like. TFA Bumblebee gets Blitzwing sparked up and neither of them realize until he enters emergence
Cross Dimensional Shenanigans
- Umbrella tag for anything that involves more than one iteration of transformers interacting with each other
Cross Dimensional Starblitz
- How the CDS started. Focuses solely on TFP Starscream and TFA Blitzwing’s weird friendship
Cryptid Seekers AU
- Everything is the same except seekers are terrifying cryptids. Nuff said
Cybermorphs AU
- An AU in which a group of warframes working off planet accidentally stumble into an ancient, buried xenomorph nests, and come back to Cybertron bearing what becomes the first generation of cybertronian-xenomorph hybrids, aka the Cybermorphs. Features a lot of world building, Cybermorph Queen Megatron, a lot of fun alien biology, and some angsty MegOP among other ships
Cybertronians Are An Invasive Species
- No war AU wherein cybertronians are an invasive pest species that have moved onto earth and cause the most havoc
Cybertronians Are An Invasive Species: The Soap Opera
- Takes place in the invasive species AU, but specifically is about a goofy soap opera created by humans with the bots as the inspiration
De-Extinction AU
TFA, the autobots have finally run out of stored Allspark energy and, seeing as the artificially created population is completely sterile, are now an officially endangered species. Their only chance at salvation lies with the decepticons and their ability to produce "sparklings"... whatever those are 🤭
Hindsight AU
- Aligned continuity. Arcee goes back in time in an attempt to stop the war with the help of Vector Prime, accidentally creates a much worse world. Goes through several crazy timelines, currently on the Self Imposed Exodus.
OS×BB AU
A TFA storyline wherein Omega Supreme wakes much much earlier than canon, becoming truly self-aware and sentient. He and Bumblebee form a connection and Things Happen
Shadows House AU
- Exactly what it sounds like. All of our favorite bots and cons are parasitic fae members of the Shadows Family. Megatronus is plotting to bring it down from the inside. Lots of secrets and spooky stuff
Subnautica AU
- Starscream and Skyfire (and sometimes the other seekers) stranded on the terrifying hell planet, 4546B
Terran Task Force
- An angsty AU that involves GHOST getting their slimy hands on the Emberstone and making legions of their own little terran warriors
The Repopulation Project
- A dystopian future AU wherein the autobots won the war, and in an effort to save their species from extinction, implemented the repopulation project. It warped and twisted over time til the war frames are kept as nothing but livestock to be bought, traded, and harvested. In an attempt to change the horrific conditions of their present society, Optimus gambles by having decepticon high command reborn in the hopes that they'll be able to overturn the huge mess he made
Unicron Reborn AU
- Technically an AU/what-if of the 5th timeline of Hindsight. Unicron is killed and later reborn as a sparkling on Cybertron; Megatron adopts him. Later gives rise to The Spawn

What if we change the "dead" to "badly injured"? I saw some fans do this
The result would still be Megatron having a reality check with what happened
I'm sad and cranky rn so I'm taking it out on Starscream
I don't remember all the exact details of his death but I do know he's generally hailed as a martyr. Sacrificed himself for the greater good and all that. I'm gonna twist it juuust a bit: he has every intention to die and not just because he thinks it's a necessity. That is part of it, yes, but I like to imagine all the countless years of utter-indifference-to-downright-cruelty from Megatron has made it so he just... doesn't want to be alive anymore. He's a nuisance, an unwanted mistake: he's never done anything to help his hive and his carrier doesn't seem to love him at all. He's tolerated only because their species is already critically endangered. He's a bad morph. He's cripplingly lonely and sad. Cybermorphs are social creatures that need bonds to be healthy, and Starscream just. Doesn't have it. His mental state has spiralled out of control and has finally manifested in the ultimate amalgamation of self loathing and isolation: suicidal ideation.
He's eager--no, desperate--for the pain to finally end. And deep down, more than anything, he hopes dying to save everyone will finally, finally, earn him his carrier's pride and maybe some of his love. It's all he wants. All he's ever wanted.
He's gotten really good at filtering out his own thoughts from the hivemind over the years. Doesn't want to burden them with his angst. But as he's about to throw himself into the metaphorical fire, his filters crack and then dissolve all together: he wants them to know they won't have to tolerate him anymore, and that he's doing it for them. For him. He truly, genuinely hopes this will make his carrier happy.
Megatron suddenly freezes during his final stand off with Optimus. Prime manages to get a hit in and sends him skidding back, but notices the cybermorph queen isn't really looking at him anymore. His face has gone slack, optics wide and horrified, then he promptly turns on a dime and takes off like a bat out of hell, bellowing Starscream's name.
It's too late, though. He can't stop his foolish little morphling even with his most powerful and desperate command as the queen.
He arrives just in time to see him drop, collapsing limp and charred and terrifyingly still, his presnece from the hivemind gone and sparkpulse so faint he seems doomed to blip out before Megatron can even get his hands on him. I'm headcannoning this scene to be similar to the frozen river in Wolf Children--desperate and regretful mother shaking him, hysterical and panicking, begging him to wake up and open his optics. Megatron's lost morphlings before, so, so many before, but not like this. Never like this. They all died at the hands of the autobots, be it in battle or during the early war nest raids. This is new, this is fresh, a special kind of grief and terror he's never been subjected to before. His very last morphling just tried to kill himself. He's shocked. He's horrified. He doesn't know what to do.
Through the power of fanfic and extremely resilient cybermorphs bodies, Starscream survives, but barely. He's in a coma for several decacycles after the fact. There's extensive bodywork to put him back together and stabilize him, but he's still in critical condition. While he's unconscious, he doesn't dream. He doesn't hear anything of the outside world. There's no sensation, no feeling, no nothing. Just the abyss.
When he finally reawakens, he's very disoriented. So stiff he can't even bend his fingers at first, optics open a single micrometer and flinching against even the low light of his recovery chamber. Everything hurts. Everything. Ventilating hurts. Blinking hurts. Trying to turn his neck to look around hurts. Tears bubble up in his optics and he starts very softly sobbing, in agony and disappointed in himself all at once.
What will the queen say? He's going to be in so much trouble. How can he be such a failure that he can't even die properly?! Did they win? Are they safe? He doesn't remember, he doesn't know-
Anxiety and panic bloom in his chassis and he's about 2 seconds away from a whole ass nervous breakdown in his hospital bed.
Then, suddenly, the door opens
His helm jerks to the side to look and white hot pain flares throughout his entire body, lacing down his main spinal strut and setting fire to every single nerve ending and sensory diode in his body. It's too much and he's helpless to stop himself from crying harder, especially when he sees who's just arrived.
The cybermorph queen himself has arrived and Starscream flinches back, trying so hard to cower away from him but his body won't move the way he wants it to, he's so stiff and it hurts so bad and oh stars Megatron's going to kill him for this-
He's expecting a lot of things. For his carrier to yell at him. To ream him the worst he's ever experienced. To be banished from the hive for being so reckless and stupid, or to just be eaten for his transgression. The cybermorphs have never been cannibalistic before, but he wouldn't be surprised if that was deemed a fitting punishment for royally screwing up as much as he has. He's expecting to be ridiculed, hated, screamed at.
He's expecting anything, honestly, aside from what happens. He is in no way shape or form expecting his carrier to cross the room in a single second and throw all 4 arms around him (I uh. Recently found out xenomorph queens have 4 arms. Didn't notice that until 2 days ago. Whoops)
Starscream gasps, shock pulsing through his entire body. He's never been held like this before, never been held at all: his secondary arms are both grasping at his shoulders, holding him close. Main arms have one wrapped around his back, the other cradling his helm and tucking his face close against the queen's chassis.
He's trilling, chirping, blubbering in cybermorph speak. My Starscream, my little morph, I'm so sorry, forgive your foolish carrier for not realizing how you felt. I'm so glad you're alright, I don't know what I'd do if I lost you, but you're safe now. You're ok.
The first time he's ever been held by his carrier. The first time he's ever been spoken to so gently. The first time he's ever been told that he is loved. He doesn't have it in him to be angry, or to feel betrayed: he's so exhausted and in so much agonizing pain, all he can do is melt into the warm embrace and cry. It's the sort of crying wherein every sound is visceral, wet and painful, pouring out every bit of loneliness and devestation and every horrible thing he's had to endure over the years. He clings on, desperately, to Megatron's frame, begging him to say it again. To swear it to be true, that it's really over, that he's never going to have to feel like this again. The queen promises it easily, and holds him tight enough to dent the entire time. Purring at his last remaining morphling, swearing to protect and properly love him forever going forward. Maybe Starscream's connection to the emotional hivemind was weak, maybe it had grown numb in war, but he'd never been privvy to these feelings before. Megatron blames himself and vows to never, ever allow these mistakes to repeat.
...
I'm gonna cut this here cuz it's getting long and I'm tired. This may be exceptionally ooc but I really can't be hecked to care. If you want a follow up of this, uhhh just ask. If you have more thoughts, send em. Im going back to bed lmfao

Please share the gerbils with the humans of Tumblr. This poor civimorph catching hell from mom because they wanted to cheer up their broken sire so they arranged to have his pets brought to him. Orion is very confused. He was talking to his mate because he didn't want to see humans wiped out. His child is very confused because the human's bairly there em feilds are covered in dad's biomarkers.
Nyehehehehehe >:) excellent
So! Where we last left off with the aligned cybermorphs, Optimus Prime after being mentally shattered by the matrix finally restoring his true memories from before the war, has suddenly vanished from the base after multiple days of him being entirely disassociated and non-communicative from the shock of it all. They can't get a read on his life signal, and have no idea where he possibly could be.
They don't even know if he's alive
Optimus slipped out of the base to seek out the nearest known decepticon energon mine. It's a risky move as Megatron still has an incredibly high bounty on his head, but he's not exactly thinking he clearly. Haunted by all of his children whom he killed with his own hands, he willingly goes to them disarmed and in surrender. The drones are being overseen by one of the civimorphs, a mecha he now knows to be one of his sparklings. He can't bear the thought of fighting them, and the way their optics flash with hatred goes sparkdeep.
The surrender goes peacefully, all things considered. It's incredibly tense but he gets bridged directly to the decepticon warship, which is essentially a flying hive. Within seconds, everyone knows he's there. The hivemind thrums with anger and confusion, and it's permeable in the air. Every set of optics is trained directly in him as he's led, bound in stasis cuffs, directly to the heart, Megatron's throne room.
I could go on and on about the reunion and what happens next in more detail, but that's not the point of this ask. The point is the gerbils
So! Long story short Megatron accepts OP's surrender, though with the demand he relinquish the Matrix, claiming it tainted with the Senate's evil and he's not willing to commune with one of their puppets. Optimus obliges him without objection. It's a very painful process that is eventually finished up with surgery
Optimus-now-Orion is happy to be back with the hive, but he's still very mentally unstable. Megatron keeps a very tight leash on him, partially because he can't trust him to just wander around, partially because he's worried someone might eat him, and partially because he's honestly worried about his little mate. Ex-mate? It's... complicated, to say the least. Orion is in a terrible state, still so broken from grief and guilt alike, and needs an ass load of rehab and therapy.
Almost no one is happy he's here, and even the ones that are have very conflicting feelings about the whole thing. One of his eldest surviving children, one that is old enough to remember him very clearly. One that grew into one of Megatron's finest praetorians. They've never forgotten the burn of his betrayal, the horror at finding out he had sided with the Senate and had played them all like fools. When Megatron confronted him, all those millions of years ago, he had demanded of Orion is any of it was true, if everything was a lie. If the life they'd built together had really, truly been an elaborate ploy just to get information on the cybermorphs in order to better genocide them. Optimus Prime had looked him in the optic and claimed it was. They had born witness to it, and it broke their spark. To hear their sire call them parasites and monsters, to claim his love for them was nothing but a perfect act. Looking back, the mnemosurgery couldn't have been more obvious, but in the wake of the bombing that slaughtered more than 80% of their hive, it had seemed so painfully believable. Now, in the present, to know he wasn't actually working against them and had been reduced to little more than the Senate's plaything... guh. Their mind and heart alike are a mess. It's a joyous relief, of course, but it's been 4+ million years. He's killed so many of them, snuffed the sparks of so many of their siblings right in front of them. He had abandoned them and had been actively working toward their annihilation until just yesterday
It's so much. Almost too much.
But they can see how broken he is, how the weight of what he's done presses down on his shoulders. There's so little light in his optics, and he leans into their carrier's touch like a lost, unloved sparkling. Silently observing him from their post beside Megatron's throne, they can feel the anger's hold slipping off of them. They're still mad, but the strut-deep hatred is quickly abating to make room for pity.
Now I do have to note, this is where the story branches off a little bit: this is a hypothetical and not strictly canon to this AU. It can be, but also doesn't have to be
The praetorian, in their off time, plots to fetch their sire's "pets". Even without the Matrix he's still very fond of them, clearly, and they think it will be helpful for his mental health. Having something small and warm for companionship is a proven psychological positive.
Since Optimus went missing. The humans have been under constant supervision, always having to have an escort and sleeping at the base most every night. They'll have to steal the humans from there, but as a solo mission it's a tall order
So they do the logical thing: asks their half sibling with invisibility to help.
The vosimorphs have one of the widest arrays of traits: not only are they venomous, but they also possess crazy chromatoids inherited from the cryptid seekers, able to cloak and blend into any environment and even make all of their cells refract light so they become invisible.
This vosimorph is younger than them, as all vosimorphs are, and it very against the idea at first. Mother hasn't given that order, not to mention this is incredibly risky.
The vosimorph agrees on the condition that they're now owed a debt that can be collected at any time. And also if Mother gets angry, their older sib will take full responsibility. They head out, and spend the next several days stalking the autobots like prey: learning their habits and tracing them + their human companions to their base. Invisible, they slip inside, and slink into the shadows, silent as the grave and cataloging every detail while also actively broadcasting Normal Vibes so the hivemind won't think anything is wrong.
Fast forward several hours, it's late at night: the humans are all sleeping in the same room, the autobots are all recharging save for Smokescreen; it's his turn for the night shift. Vosimorph slithers through the base, still invisible, and appears above the sleeping humans. They don't have any way to dispatch them or make sure they stay asleep, so they have to do this fast.
They extend their fingers over every bed, and in one swift motions, scoops up all of them. Jostled awake and faced with what looks like a horror movie monster, they course start screaming, and the morph wastes no time.
Snaps at them to, "Shut up!" and promptly stuffs them all into their secondary jaw. They become invisible juuust before the door opens, and as soon as it does they slip out. With the humans hidden within their body, the invisibility extends to them. There may be some muffled screaming but by the time the autobots notice, morph is already activating the door and escaping into the night
Promptly spits out the humans, now soggy and oily, and transforms around them, immediately taking off into the sky. Reaching out to their older sib to announce 'target acquired'

Some cybermorph thoughts I wanna explore/develop:
- an earthspark idea I had about how Megatron and Dorothy possibly could have met
- life for the lesser queens during the war. Also, the lesser queens themselves. One for each subspecies
- figuring out exact size specifications and hive layouts
- honestly just an assload of megop angst
- unnamed civimorph kidnapping dad's gerbils
Send me asks about any of these lol

So, spoiled cybermorph princess Megatron! I think he remains on Cybertron.
... I can't help but imagine Galvatron being like, promise me you'll call everyday!! If anything goes wrong, I'll come get you!
He knows Megatron is more than able to handle himself. He knows he'll succeed. But this is his precious Royal baby.
Also Orion Pax being very confused about why Megatron constantly demands his attention? Y e s p l e a s e
I love this! With the help of his specially cultivated children, he and the hive have expanded to encompass most of the entire southern half of the planet. They were abandoned by the Senate due to quarantine, and they've spread pretty much as far as they can. So his special first royal baby is being sent to the North: so much untapped space and warm little bodies to incubate their eggs. Megatron's just reached maturity, body starting production in his first little clutch of drone eggs, so it's time he sets out. Galvatron sends him with a few experienced drones and warriors (like, 5 max) for protection and to get the hive kickstarted.
Megatron insists that he wants to bring Orion with him. Orion is so confused, has always been perplexed by his behavior: cybermorphs at large are an aromantic-asexual species. The hivemind fulfills all their needs, and as only queens are fertile, they're the only ones that naturally have a sex drive. Usually if a queen wants someone to sire for them, they just make the decision and that's that. To have the little princess (well. "Little" 🤭) so enamored with him and always clamoring for his attention is something he just isn't familiar with
Before they leave, while still preparing, perhaps Megatron makes an odd request: the right to make Orion into his first (and currently, only) praetorian. He's an adult queen now and can make the necessary jelly, sooo 👀
Regardless of whether or not the request is granted, he brings Orion with him. Cybermorph queens have aphrodisiac venom, right? It's what they use to mske normal born mecha compliant, and to basically grant a sex drive to their chosen morph partners so their eggs can be fertilized. The second the throne room for the new hive is dug out, Megatron sinks his fangs into Orion's neck and demands that which he's waited so long for. All at once the venom floods his body and suddenly it all makes sense: oh. That's why the princess--now a queen--was always trailing him. While the drones are busy prepping a nearby incubation chamber and one is sent to the surface to retrieve their first incubator, Orion is fucking Megatron like a wild animal on his throne. Usually the queen of a new hive would produce at least a few dozen drones before turning to sexually concieved bitties, but Megatron's ready to push himself to make it work 🤭

Imagine this (Cybermorph AU TFP)
Cybermorphs communicate through dance. Like bees do. Also? Seekers do it too. But their dances involve a lot of Wingcode too, so it's a lot harder to learn (impossible without back kibble). So, we get Vosimorphs. And they know all the dances. So despite being the equivalent of walking horror shows... they are dancing. They get the nickname of "Deaths Dancers" during the war at some point.
Also? Little halfa KO has his wheels on his back. Imagine he spins/twitches them in a way that is vaguely translatable as rough Wingcode. Imagine Starscreams reaction. Imagine the two of them gossiping in the middle of meetings. Just twitching their wings, bc there is no way Megs knows wingcode (having inner wings so no back kibble; no reason to learn then; why learn to read it when he can just read his subjects minds instead?) Also, Soundwave totally knows Wingcode but doesn't even try to understand what these two dorks gossip about. It keeps them in line; why should he care what they're saying?
Ooooh I really like this! Body language is a big part of life in a morph hive, and for them it's as natural as speaking ot using the hivemind to communicate. Certain wing flicks or arm movements have very complex meanings, and the most dramatic ones are definitely the vosimorphs. I think that pairs well with the cryptid seekers Song of Death and echolocation 🤭

The Cybermorphs AU TFA where the "babies" are Team Prime, Team Rodimus, and Blackarachnia. The Cybermorphs are just looking at the much shrunk and malnourished autobots and techno-organic cybertronian and went "bebe must adopt " the hive ie in a bit of a fugue state and it takes Doctor Nickel half-cybermorph baby(is complicated) found by Praetorian DJD bring sense to them.
Bonus points:
Nickel can back the whole hive down the hall as a minibot.
Strika is Lugnut's converted bondmate
Part of reason for confusion is Bulkhead is Lugnut and Strika's baby so Team Prime smells like Hive
The TFA Autobot society sucks. None of the team even Ratchet should be in adult frames. They all babies except for Prowl(young todler) and Ratchet(older todler)
Yes absolutely
I don't have the brain power to expand on these rn, but to anyone reading this this is all 100000% canon.
Also shakes my fist at tumblr for eating my first answer to this smh the audacity 😤

The team found the Allspark called it in, and they get carried off by Cybermorphs. They don't even get to call it in.
And the fact they're brought to the throne room given energon? They aren't touching it because clearly this is a trap.
And the way Team Prime is huddle togeather, ploting an escape, the Deceptacons are going "on noes the babies have something wrong with them!" Bonus if spark age most of them should still be sparkling or youngling fraims.
And Starscream just scoopes up one of them possibly swaddles because they're kicking and starts to feed them becaues babies need to eat.
These poor little sparklings must have been through hell if they won't even touch their energon 🥺 its possible they dont even really know how to eat by themselves. Starscream grabs the smallest one and, to stop his thrashing, swiftly wraps him up in the sticky, hyper-tough silk that morphs can mske (something I learned from the second movie I watched last night 😌), preventing too much wiggling and thrashing around. Don't want the baby to hurt himself, after all!
The other sparklings flock around him, clearly distressed at the way he's taken their friend away, tiny hands trying to scale his legs. He ignores them in favor of trying to get the one in his arms to sip from his cube of energon, but the sparkling is stubborn. Won't open his intake for anything
The morphs are at a loss, honestly. These sparklings have been surviving on their own for god knows how long: it makes sense they'd be wary or even afraid of strangers. But they must be hungry! They can't just let them starve! What are they going to do? 🥺
On the other side, Team Prime is actively living through a horror movie, kidnapped by these giant beastly things that keep grabbing them and shuffling them around, trying to get them to drink surely-poisoned energon. None have ever had contact with a cybermorph before--even Ratchet, who was present for the war. He was a field medic, primarily: he's seen the damage they can do but never actually had the misfortune of facing one. Pretty much no one has: if you run into a morph, it's all but a guaranteed death, so they have nothing to go on. They have no concept of what a sparkling is, so they've no idea why the morphs are babying them and not eating them. It's so bizarre

Oh my gosh I love the idea of the younger TFA Xenocons looking at modern aka tiny Autobots going babies! Mama we found Orphened Sparklings! Meanwhile Bee is going who are you calling a sparkling/what the hell is a sparkling
Oh my god SAME
Hear me out ok just hear me out! Civilian frames have always been smaller than warframes, but in TFA it's so exaggerated. Like. In some shots Optimus barely comes uo to Megatron's knee. They're itty bitty
I like to imagine that their diminutive size is the result of so many generations of the autobots not being born normally, not being allowed to grow up: They're created with energy siphoned from the Allspark vault, newborn infant sparks chucked into protoform shells meant to mimic adults. They should be much bigger, maybe 50-60% of tye average warframe's height/bulk, but they're malnourished and their sparks are weak. They can't get any bigger
In true TFA fashion, the cybermorphs lost the war and were chased out into deep space. Like we discussed previously, they're on the brink of extinction with less than 100 of them left. Critically endangered, if you will. It's completely fucked up their psyches, surprise surprise: Megatron has lost all of his millions and millions of children to the autobots' genocide, and there's no way to make more. He's unstable, queen instincts for nesting and laying dormant because they don't have access to a safe place to hive, nor do they have any incubators.
Then, out of nowhere: a blip. Intense warmth and life, stumbled upon after millions of lonely years drifting aimlessly through space. They know of the Allspark, obviously; if they could get their hands on it, just think of how many incubators they could make. How much energon they could have. They'd be able to find a nice planet somewhere and carve out a fresh chance at life for themselves! They could have a hive again, at long last!
The ship is breached and things devolve very quickly: imagine their surprise when they find a bunch of tiny babies with the Allspsrk. And that's what they are, babies, little more than larva! Where are their caretakers, why are they all alone out here? Have they not been able to incubate properly? Are they starving?
The autobots are helpless against the cybermorphs are captured easily. Considering there's no bomb here (Starscream, as much as he and his queen but heads, knows he can't kill Megatron. He's the only one capable of continuing their species, the only queen left in existence, and his hatred for him doesn't overshadow his desire to avoid extinction), the little repair crew is ceased. They're of course convinced that this is it, this is how they die, dragged off to be devoured by these horrific monsters.
Imagine their surprise when, instead, they're all rounded up into the throne room and given a helping of energon. The monsters sre clicking and chirping and hissing--it doesn't seem like they speak neo cybex. Lugnut and Blitzwing are standing by, guarding the doors and keeping an optic on them while the queen watches silently from his throne. He's watching them quizzically, concerned when the sparklings refuse to eat. Surely they must be hungry! Do they... not know how to fuel on their own? He'll feed them if he has to!
I already love this idea sooo much and I hope we get to develop it more 🥺 these little baby bots are too small to be incubators, and the queen instincts are so desperate for a hive and to fulfil their life's purpose that the whole little group has been latched onto 🤭 how is Team Prime gonna get themselves outta this one?

Lets begin with this.
Your earthspark-morph AU is amazing. It flows so well with Dotties character and the whole idea that we never really get told why she's missing her leg; just that it was lost in battle. Also? Megs 100% would offer her a spot in the hive after that. Like, she saved 2 of his kids. The least he can do is offer her protection against the autobots, who are now undoubtedly going to kill her if she returns from the hive.
Also? I feel like the first thing that would happen after Dot and Megs negotiations would be Dot asking for Megs side of the war story. Cause she's definitely heard the Autobots side (Cons wanna take over the planet; they're all evil scum; experiment on bots for fun; yadda yadda.) She's seen all the propaganda. But she's military; she knows that's what it is. So she wants to know the other sides version. Something she would never be able to ask if not for the unique circumstances.
She learns the horrors of how morphs are treated; how the Autobots intended genocide is what kickstarted the war in the first place.
Shes shook.
Hey I'm glad you liked it!
The bots aren't gonna kill Dot tho. Why would they? It's not like they know she tried to stop the eggs from being smashed, and getting kidnapped by cybermorphs isn't exactly a crime
She is eventually gonna want to return to the surface. She has her whole life up there, family that she loves and friends she adores and a dream job as a park ranger to someday get to
She is with the hive for awhile, tho. The medical team stabilizes her, and manages to perform a proper amputation surgery to minimize the damage. It takes them awhile to make her an acceptable prosthetic: the perfect blend of cybertronian tech and cloned material harvested from her, allowing her to experience a sense of touch in her replacement limb. It moves with such precision the individual toes can wiggle. It's an engineering marvel, but ofc takes a bit of time to be fine tuned and ready for continuous use
While she's down there, she gets to know the morphs. They're... frighteningly familiar. They're so much like the autobots, so much like people, it's a wonder she had ever thought of them as monsters. They're... just people that look different. That's literally it. They laugh and have inside jokes and are actually rather affectionate with each other. They all have their place in their massive family, and the hivemind is a marvel. They don't even need to talk to each other to communicate! They treat her very well, grateful that she protected their unhatched siblings.
Speaking of said siblings! Megatron's jealously guarding them in the throne room, tucked safely in two honeycomb-like shells under constant watch from the praetorians and the queen himself. Dot is given permission to see them when she speaks with Megatron, who's also a lot more... docile, almost? Than she would have expected. Previously she'd only seen him in battle, where he was downright savage and acted entirely without mercy. But when he's comfortably at home in his hive, watching over his two eggs... he's much more quiet than she ever could have imagined. It's strange to think of him as peaceful, but that's all that really comes to mind seeing him relaxed in his throne and gently stroking the precious eggshells.
He agrees to let her return home once her leg has been fixed up. He's not keen on just letting a strange alien join his hive, though for now she is a welcome guest. He has no interest in keeping her as a pet or a companion or an unwilling prisoner. But in the days before she's ready to leave, they visit often. They talk. He tells her about his children, both living and dead. She confides in him about how she'd like to have children of her own someday but worries she never will. She asks about the war, eventually, why it started, and is shocked and horrified to hear about how awful Cybertron was for the less fortunate. Slavery isn't exactly that far away in humanity's past, and there's still inequalities based around something as trivial as "frame type" and "skin color". She can barely wrao her head around the idea of the good and honest autobots being slave drivers. She can't imagine the morphs living their entire lives in quarantine because they were considered dangerous and dirty. And then hearing that the fighting started because of an unprovoked bombing in sn attempt to genocide them--it's all too much. She's sick to her stomach, hearing all of that--those are the kinds of people she's been working with? That the government and humans as a whole were so happy to back and support?
Needless to say, when she leaves, she has every intention to resign from working with the bots, but only after giving them a piece of her mind (and maybe also blowing the whistle on them, idk I'm just rambling at this point)

I'm curious, what is Earthspark like in the Cybermorph-verse?
Also this goes against the original canon, but I'm just imagining Twitch as a runt who remains small but ends up as one of Megatron's favourites. Just nestled between his dorsal spines, safe and happy.
So, I don't have anything concrete decided on for the cybermorphs in earthspark, but I do have some fun backstory for Dot and Megatron! I'll just transcribe it here, under the cut if you're interested ^-^
We were talking about, somehow, cybermorph Megatron and Dorothy being friends, like in earthspark. I decided to take this hypothetical and run with it. We don't know exactly how they came together in canon, but general speculation is that she did something that earned his respect. And she clearly doesn't like Optimus all that much--they're civil, but there's no warm feelings there, yk?
So my thoughts immediately went to Dot standing up to the bots and calling them out when they're doing something whack.
Something on earth triggers Megatron to produce a small clutch of eggs. He's not planning them, they just happen. Maybe the recovery of the Allspark, the exposure to such potent life energy kickstarts his reproductive system again. Maybe uses some stored old genetic code from previous sires, maybe they're just drones, but regardless he can feel their sparks connecting to his. There's a very, very prolonged battle, the type where everyone is on the field for days at a time. Think trenches, underground compounds, anything and everything. Maybe he doesn't even realize he's carrying them: his egg-laying protocols have been disabled for millions of years, and they fit in so seamlessly in the hivemind he doesn't realize they're coming until they're coming.
He suddenly pulls back from the battlefield with no warning, shouting for Soundwave to take over, and he runs off to find somewhere dark and safe. Maybe the contractions make it so he can't change form and easily return to the hive. Ends up in one of those old cave systems or something, idk it's not important. Delivers a small clutch, probably only 4 or 5 cuz it's been so long since he's gotten any action and doesn't have a lot of extra code to fertilize them. Realizes oh slag, these aren't drone eggs. These are actual fully fertilized sparklings that are going to need hosts and will probably have to be shipped off planet immediately.
The first children he's beared in millions of years, they're indescribably precious. He has no idea who sired them, but that can come later
My idea comes from Dot along with maybe a couple autobot escorts, tracking him there. After all, he's probably doing some big bad evil decepticon shit, right?
Wrong.
Dot watches as, without even a moments' hesitation, one of the bots shoots squarely at one of the eggs. It explodes in spectacular fashion, delicate embryo slaughtered and tiny spark extinguished in less than a second.
Megatron screams, a truly primal cybermorph queen screech, and promptly transforms. Knocks the responsible party back, throwing them into the wall with such force their chassis cracks, but he's so focused on that one that the other party manages to bring their pede down on another with tremendous force and stomps the egg flat, splattering it and killing the unborn morphling.
The queen bellows, furious and devestated all at once, and when he pounces on the other Dot is nearly crushed underfoot. She stumbles back and her back hits something slimy and springy, like a thick, malleable rubber. She peels herself off and turns around, and comes face to face with one of his fresh eggs. They're so early, only minutes from emergence, thst their shells are still a bit see-through. It takes her a moment to make out what she's looking at, but when she does, her suspicious squint slackens and her eyes widen. She knows this thing very well. Tiny, too-big head and little dark spots where eyes should be, nubby body shaped like a bean with no arms or legs.
She's seen this kind of image many times. On ultrasounds of her little brother and in her cousin's parenting books and on posters at the doctor's office.
An embryo.
A fetus.
These are his babies!
"NOOO! " she throws herself in front of a nearby egg, arms out wide as if she could somehow block the shot one bot is priming.
"What are you doin', squishy?!" He barks at her. "Move!"
"No! These are chi-"
"Monsters, Dorothy! They're monsters!"
They swing their gun the other way as if to shoot another, and she dives in front of it again. Megatron is busy pounding the other into the ground, trying to get himself back the nest that they've successfully cut him off from. There's only 3 left, he has to save them!
"Scrap this!" The bot bats her aside--not enough to injure her, just enough to get her out of the way with the barrel of their blaster, still struggling to pill himself up after hitting the wall hard enough to rattle his internals. One of his legs is limp and useless, that's the only thing stopping him. Dot manages to land on her feet, skidding back, ribs aching from the impact.
The blaster powers up one more time, and the distinctive thrum is enough to distract Megatron from where his secondary jaw has punctured his opponent's spark chamber, ripping it out and shredding it with his serrated fangs. He throws the body down and is immediately snarling as he leaps at the other mecha, but it's too late.
Blood flies everywhere and Dorothy s c r e a m s, collapsing to the ground with half of her leg gone. She lands in a puddle of sticky, hot fluid: the egg behind her that she had tried to shield has unfortunately been punctured and is leaking all over the cave floor. Her ears start ringing, she's losing blood so fast and her vision blurs when she tries to look at her leg--she can see bone and muscles and tendons exposed to open air, and she doesn't even notice Megatron'a cybermorph queen warcry as he rips off the other mech's head.
In the aftermatch, once they're dead, he turns his attention to his babies. Only two remain, two eggs miraculously unbroken. The human that had tried to defend then, while valliant, was unsuccessful. The third one has drained out all over the floor and there's no breathing life back into them.
But still. He replays all the audio in his helm, and could hear her arguing with the other. He'd seen her scrambling back and forth, trying to block a shot to his eggs. She... she protected them, fearlessly, like a praetorian would. She put herself at the mercy of alien weapons so strong it could vaporize her entire body. She'd sacrificed a part of herself for them, and for that he's grateful.
Megatron always repays his debts. Especially after finding out that humans can't simply regenerate or replace limbs 🤭 when Megatron leaves, he takes her with. Gently cradling his eggs in one hand, picking her up in the other. She's still bleeding profusely so he licks over the wound with his glossa, thick oily solvent congregating on the wound and stopping the blood flow. He leaves with his cargo, and when the bots find the site later, 2 of their comrades are dead and there's a crazy amount of human blood on the floor. Naturally, she's assumed dead, but is actually at the bottom of the sea in the depths of the Nemesis, engineers and medical hard at work giving her her mobility back as thanks for protecting their unhatched siblings.

Cybermorph Queen Megsy & the Repair Crew Sparklings idea:
After a while of giving them constant energon, Megatron, Starscream, Lugnut, and Blitzwing realize that the babies aren't getting any bigger. Why aren't they getting bigger, who hurt them? Maybe at some point Blitzwing (since he's definitely the weirdest Cybermorph of the quartet) suggests that their frames won't let them grow, like some sort of limit put in by those Autobots (if they know they're called that) to keep them small and compliant. The morphs are angry if that's true and start trying to find a way to snap that limit.
Meanwhile, the crew is still freaked out, though a bit calmer because they haven't tried attack them at all. Perhaps they even start planning an escape before the fear kicks back up when Starscream snatches one of them. They don't know the Cybermorphs are trying to find out why they won't grow. The Cybermorphs don't realize realize the noises the crew are making are fear, they just think they're sparklings chirping at them and not wanting to be small anymore.
Yesss, they're doing their best to help them but the sparklings are being so stubborn! It's like they're on a hunger strike, and the morphs are getting worried. The kiddos are getting weaker, acting more sluggish and dizzy the longer they refuse their fuel, their colors are so faded and sickly looking. They may have to take drastic measures if they won't eat soon!
Drastic measures involves landing on some backwater colony and stalking the local population, hunting them and bringing them back. Devouring their prey, semi-digesting it, then forcibly regurgitating it and forcing the baby to eat. It's disgusting, it's slimy, it's cannibalism (tho Team Prime doesn't know that at first), and after the first time one of the adults forces their secondary jaw into their mouth and pumps fuel directly down their intake, they finally break and drink from the offered energon cubes. The morphs are so relieved! Seems they were just stuck and unsure how to eat, but crisis averted!

I think Orion Pax should be a grade A monsterfucker in the cybermorph AU, actually

So TFA Cybermorph AU.
We all know that dead sparks return to the allspark. Some AUs theorize that sparks are therefore reused. What if OPs spark was the reused spark from his previous life as Orion Pax? And Orion Pax was one of Megs's previous harem members, before the senate had him killed? Would that not add an extra level of angst to this or what.
Oooooh I love me some great reincarnation drama! Assuming that the two of them had warm feelings between them, his death likely would've caused the queen to rampage. He wasn't the first nor was he the last, but his memory haunts Megatron. The morphs have lost everything: they're a critically endangered species and have no way to reproduce. They have no home, fuel is a rare and precious commodity. Most every child the queen has ever beared is dead and gone. The only sires that remain are Starscream and Shockwave.
Optimus probably looks a lot like his previous self, and for awhile Megatron thinks he's just deluded from so many cycles of grief and isolation. But no, it's nor just that. Optimus doesn't just look like Orion, he is like Orion. Though they hardly have anything that could be classified as personal contact, only meeting in battle, Megatron can't help but notice the minute details and habits and mannerisms that are a 1 for 1 perfect mimic of his Orion. The suspicions eventually reach a boiling point and he can’t deny it any more: that little autobot Prime is definitely dear departed Orion.
What happens next? No idea lmfao 😂 depends on how much angst we want

Ooh, yes. Megatron being able to reproduce asexually once he's old enough is nice. How about that results in the equivalent of vehicons? Maybe a few variations due to mutations, but otherwise, pretty much all clones.
... also I like them only being able to be fertilised in the gestation tank. Just for selfish reasons 😇
I mean, there are xenomorph drones and warriors produced en masse, sooo 👀 canon
That's very fitting for Megatron, constantly spawning new additions to the hive to crush the autobots. They grow very quickly and are fight capable within a couple days after birth. That's part of what makes him such a dangerous threat: the older and more experienced he gets, the more quickly he's able to make these deadly footsoldiers. Maybe someday might even be able to do it on command, though at the expense of significant energon intake and vicious hunger
The ones produced with a partner are a lot more similar to canon characters, with distinct personalities and opinions, though all with a natural ingrained loyalty to the hive and, more importantly, the queen ruling over it 🤭 the ones made without a partner are widely drones and nameless warriors, all looking pretty much exactly the same and never really saying much

All I know is that I really think that Megatron needs to acquire a mad scientist who'll be able to turn normal mechs into a new type of cybermorphs. I'd call them drones, but that's already taken.
Either way, their only purpose is to look pretty and impregnate Megatron.
Utterly useless.
Funny enough we actually talked about this in the discord at length! I'll just transcribe it here cuz tbh it hits:
So, canonically in the xenomorphs' universe, there was an entire cult squadron thing that were once humans, but had been mutated severely due to consistently feeding on a queen's royal jelly. It didn't turn them into xenomorphs, not by a long shot, but it did cause significant changes in physique, temperament, and physical abilities. Do you think, given enough time to experiment, Shockwave could convert a baseline cybertronian genome into an actual cybermorph? Using the royal jelly or otherwise. Cuz I think he could. If anyone can do it, it's the cons' ultimate mad scientist.
Imagine if he could. Imagine when he does. Not only would it make their own warriors stronger, but it'd be a horrifying end for autobot prisoners. Having their entire genetic code stripped down and reconstructed, subconscious mind painstakingly assimilated into the hivemind. Unable to disobey the call of the queen's orders. And then, even if they're particularly strong willed and do resist for awhile... Megatron can still hear them, follow them everywhere they go. If they're withholding sensitive information, he's privvy to it. If they plot to escape, he'll know. They slowly go crazy, unraveling as they sink further and further into the hive's pull, thoughts slowly rewriting themselves as their new cybermorph instincts vy for control
I'd say a decent chunk of the decepticons probably undergo the process willingly, as it essentially guarantees more power and a much higher survival rate. Plus it makes work so much more efficient and saves time if they can hear everyone's thoughts and intimately understand the needs of the hive. Som mecha probably go crazy and lose their minds during the process, but if they do then they're weak, and get used as incubators or are just. Eaten
Having said all that, anyone random transformed like this doesn't get the right to breed with the queen. Why would they? That's a very special, specific privilege only for a select few. Idk if Starscream would do it, but he's already the designated sire of all vosimorphs. Soundwave is already a normal born morph, and Orion is no longer in the picture when Shockwave perfects the process. Does he turn himself into one? I dunno, maybe? Probably. If it's considered logical, then yes
