the possible leland traumas and injuries at the fun time slaughter house for my knowledge alone:

he definitely gets knocked out with smth heavy when the family finds the campsite and grabs them bc he's probably highest immediate threat level and they're smart enough to deal w him first. or probably would have struggled a lot and got his face slammed into the van hood or smth. bloody nose. i think he got a little roughed up bc he would have tried to fight. im sure they all did but he’s a little extra stupid sometimes.

obv wakes up hanging upside down, still probably concussed and ew dried blood up his nose. he gets himself down but lands on his back pretty hard. bro is going through it in the tunnels

at some point when they make it onto to the grounds, picks up aggro on like several of the family to try to distract them from the others trying to figure out their escape. bc he knows otherwise they all get caught again.

i think it's funny if he goes to shoulder check bubba and bubba doesn't fucking move and its like. ow

takes a few knife slashes in the back and across the arms. but it’s like, hitchhiker’s shitty straight razor so it’s not that dire.

while he’s hitting them with the infinite loops he probably corners himself by accident and sissy just sleep powders him and owns him instantly. definitely some kind of vaguely toxic plant so he’s experiencing smth at that point.

gets dragged back into the house half conscious by bubba bc at some point he's gonna tie him down and be like Oh New Face For Me (: and that’s how leland gets like… this bad cut up the side of his face where bubba was , cutting. but obviously that gets interrupted by one of the other's distracting or smth. i think he cries when he finds maria's body but he also cries here bc Yeah.

whenever they’re making a final break for it, i think he probably is gonna throw down w johnny to protect him friends. and bc johnny was the one that first hunted maria down and he won't shut the fuck up. which will provoke lelend in 2 seconds flat. gonna simply wail on him until someone pulls him off bc like Run For Exit Idiot.

i think in verses where he Fucking Dies it is for reasons of [insert fool hero play that gets him dead]

overall just looks like hell if/when they get out of there onto the main road or w/e. running on fumes and a lil unhinged.
