i don’t care about steven universe anymore (which is a hell of a statement if you know me — when i was 13 i was hyperfixated on it for over a year. that’s how i got on this website in the first place. it was all i ever talked about. had a sapphire pfp and everything) but… thinking about spinel recently because she’s got such a. forgive me. doctor who flavoured storyline… childhood best friend to an immortal being that can change their shape and personality upon death… left alone in an idyllic garden to wait hopelessly for her return. for SIX THOUSAND YEARS. and then when you’re finally free you discover that she’s got all these new better friends that she hasn’t even mentioned your existence to. and she doesn’t even seem to recognise you anymore. i’d turn evil too. GOD
