I feel like Ace would take a lot of pride in the fact that he got most of his looks from his mom… that he’s like her twin in a way that keeps her memory alive and also means that he doesn’t inherit Roger’s traits. Maybe at some points he starts feeling bugged by the fact that he’s got his dad’s hair color so he impulsively tries to bleach it…. but it just doesn’t feel right (maybe because blonde curly hair is a sabo thing and he feels weird about it) so he just gives up and tries to let it go

But luffy has dark hair too and arguably Ace’s love for him outweighs his mother bc i cant remember if Ace even knew anything about his mother at all until marineford

Omg another thing I hate about the bowers gang fandom, is when y/n is depicted as “white”! “He runs his hands tru ur long hair” like what bitch I got braids???and even if I didn’t it’s still curly..he’s not running his hands tru MY hair. Orrr when they mentioned anything about being pale, having freckles, eye colors…it’s just like who r u talking about bc it’s not me??

Earlier I was thinking about commenting on this, but I wasn't really sure, but now I know.

Y/n's are always depicted (in some way) as white or having Eurocentric features.

There is no way you could run your hands through Y/n's hair when it's braided or extremely curly.

Or sometimes they say lines like:

"He picked Y/n up" "He looked into her colored eyes" "He stared at her compact frame."

Or say lines about skin color and it's always depicting white skin or white features or things that are common in white features. The average Y/n is usually hinted at being a thin white girl. Like I'm a bigger girl and I know there ain't no way in hell Patrick, Vic, or Henry's little skinny asses are going to be able to lift me. If those mfers wanted to lift me, they'd all have to contribute like it's a team exercise.

Or even when they mention food. I one time read a Wattpad where the person said something about Y/n's mom making the family meatloaf-
