Omg 😲 😫😍🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💕🙏🏾😘gorgeous results boo #Repost @mai_curls ・・・ Check out my #TextureTuesday!!! 👀 I did another Rice Water Rinse on Sunday night which is an excellent, inexpensive Protein Treatment. This time I mixed it with a deep conditioner and left it on my hair for about 45 minutes as a different experiment after reading about this option on @curlycailin.ie 's blog. It resulted in possibly the best curls I've had since I started this journey. My curls are so defined and moisturized! I used one cup of rice and put in a pot with about 3 inches of water above the rice on high heat (per @curlicue_lu ' s super helpful instructions) . Waited until the rice started to boil a little then turned the heat down to medium. Right when the water started turning cloudy, I removed it from the stove and used a fine strainer to get all the rice water out. It will have a creamy thick texture. Mixed 3 teaspoons of @naturallyunitedcurls_ protein free Avocado Deep conditioner (smells so good btw) into the rice rinse. First washed my hair with @sheamoisture JBCO shampoo and then put the rice water rinse + deep conditioner mix on my hair for about 45 minutes. It is a runny and light combo so it kept dripping from beneath my cap. I used double plastic caps lined with small towel just to avoid the mess. I rinsed all out with cold water then used my leave in that I've used all summer on its own: @sheamoisture 100% coconut oil leave in then finished it off with @bouncecurl light creme gel.
