Certain things are out of our control. And, let’s face it, many of them always are.. it’s just in hyperfocus atm. That creates anxiety, fear, uncertainty. But we can choose what our mind focuses on. We can (and should!) control where our thoughts dwell.. as thoughts create reality. 💕 I heard a beautiful story on #NPR last night about a family who is using some of this at-home time to write letters to folks in a local nursing home, who’re unable to see their family / loved ones right now. I’m seeing so many posts from people offering to bring groceries / necessities to anyone high-risk or unable to leave their homes at all. It is during these times of great challenge that we truly see the greatness of humanity emerge. 🙌🏻💝 • Of course there is fear. My husband and I both have our own small businesses (he owns a tattoo shop, which is effectively shut down).. and I mirror the sentiment urging folks who are in a position to be able to do so, to support small business right now as much as possible. It is a very scary time for us.
