Can we get more info on Holly and Ember's relationship? What about Lamprey and Elm's? I'm also curious about otterpaw and that kitten that had a prophetic dream earlier in the comic, I don't remenber their name.... Only that he had the biggest hair bang... Love them honestly
oh oh sure :D!!
Emberstorm + Hollycloud: These two!! Actually have a lot in common! Their fathers died when they were young (Burnetpelt for Holly, Skipperscale for Ember+Copper), they had close family members who were manipulated by Snowstar (Gorsefang and Copperclaw), and also their personalities kinda round each other out! Emberstorm is a rambunctious and pretty fiery lass, whereas Hollycloud is much more calm and level-headed (he’s very slow to anger -- i think the only time he actually got vicious in the comic itself was when he smacked snowstar in the face and the final battle scenes). They’re already pretty close friends, having bonded through their loss of a parental figure, and eventually Emberstorm helps Hollycloud move on from Otterflower (the two still remain best friends of course :>) and she+hollycloud end up as a couple instead ^v^! very very quick rundown but i dont wanna ramble too much, but theyre a very fun dynamic i hope i can explore some more in writing and art ! an underappreciated friendship :]  Lamprey + Elm: They were pretty close when they were younger. Elmfoot was surprisingly nice to Lampreyface (for reasons unknown to either of them, Lamprey’s pretty sure it was just because she was pretty and could kick his ass); he was a bully to other cats when he was younger, but when Lamprey was around she usually tempered his shitty attitude and she was quick to comfort cats who he picked on (like gorsefang.... gorsefang resented her for a little while but came back around to her when she stuck up for them, and then grew closer to her when their sons became best friends). Elmfoot had signs that he was a shitty dude but with how sweet and doting he was to Lampreyface, she hoped it was just a kinda “jerk with a heart of gold situation” -- when they had kits and Elmfoot started acting weird, she got suspicious. When it was found out how he was treating Otterpaw, Lampreyface flew off the handle and had to be restrained from almost killing him during his exile -- she’s pretty disgusted with him and how he hid his true colors, and if she ever saw him again (which she does eventually) it’d be on sight :’) it still hurts her though because he had been so kind to her at first, the shift came slow but terrifying nonetheless so shes got complicated good memories as well as horrible horrible memories with him. shes opted to just not talk about him at all though which is why lamprey never told cricket about her father
Otter + Cricket (the kitten with the prophetic omen in the beginning): Cricketkit is Otterflower’s baby sister! She was born like, a little bit after Elmfoot was gone (he was exiled at the very beginning of Lamprey’s second pregnancy). Otterflower absolutely adores his baby sister and since he was training to be a caretaker during her time in the nursery, the two of them were exceptionally close and he absolutely adored her (and she’s probably the closest to him out of any of her brothers). Eventually, Cricketpaw would be apprenticed to Cuckoochirp which Otterflower would naturally greatly support -- her full name was gonna be Cricketshine due to her knack for prophecy and omen deciphering / openness :]c

Thank you for all the names!! Here are some full medicine cat names/warrior names for the second generation (the cousins), when they eventually earn them: Cricketshine, Addertooth, Babbletail, Maplebranch.
No problem, I’m happy to help!
Cricketshine - From what you’ve told me he’s a sweet boy and this is a great name for him! 15/10
Addertooth - This is a simple but super effective name, one Addertooth should be boris of, 15/10
Babbletail - This is such a nice name, it invokes some nice imagery, 15/10
Maplebranch - This is a really nice use of the -branch suffix, it’s a really nice name! 15/10

Cricketshine’s new ShadowClan medicine cat apprentice, Batpaw! She is a small, thin-furred black she-cat with some dots of white.
Batpaw- An introverted and intelligent she-cat. Batpaw is a very hard worker, she wants to make Cricketshine and her clan proud so she studies hard and can often be heard quietly reciting remedies under her breath before she sleeps. Batpaw doesn’t talk a lot but she is a great listener, she just doesn’t feel comfortable injecting herself into a conversation unless it is important or someone asks her something- she isn’t at all unfriendly- anything but- she’s just shy, 14/10

You must have seen pretty much every warrior cat name under the sun, cannon and fannon. any particular favourites that just stuck with you?
That’s a really tough question, off the top of my head, I’m thinking Blacksun, Cricketshine, Talonflame (because of the Pokemon lol), Boarstrike (about to publish his in a second), Elmvoice, Frostspirit, Deadsun, Ravensight and Dustguard (AU names for Dustpelt and Ravenpaw- Ravensight is also a separate OC of mine). I’m sure there’s more and I will reblog if they come back to me, I just genuinely love all the names that are sent here and I wish I could put everyone’s on here- but that would be literally hundreds of cats lol
Also a shout out to some purposefully edgy OCs I was once given: Darkheart and Bloodstorm, they were very fun to write about

Cricketshine and Icefire have a new sibling, because I can't resist giving Loststar more children (she and Bluestream are the best moms.) Introducing Sunflowerkit of ShadowClan! She is a silver tabby. Cricketshine sneaks her honey from the medicine den entirely too often. Icefire wants to be her mentor. (Both her moms have already shot this suggestion down. She will not stop asking.)
Sunflowerkit - An extroverted and cheerful she-kit. Sunflowerkit certainly talks a lot, she always seems to be chattering and asking questions about one thing or another, she mainly directs these questions towards her mothers and siblings, although if none of them is available she will ask the first warrior that passes her by. Sunflowerkit adores her family, and she feels so lucky to have such an amazing big brother and sister, they’re so cool and kind, Sunflowerkit feels like the luckiest kit in the world, who needs littermates? Sunflowerkit always seems to be purring and when she plays she often trills and chirps, she is largely regarded to be adorable, even by kit standards, and many warriors hope to mentor her, she’s a very popular kit, 14/10

Skunkkit (Sunflowerkit's den-mate at the moment) REALLY wants to be Cricketshine's apprentice, but there are already two medicine cats in ShadowClan! Her brother, Frogkit, wants nothing more than to be a ShadowClan warrior. They are the two kits of Dappleclaw, Loststar's deputy.
Skunkkit- A thoughtful and curious she-kit. Skunkkit wants to know as much as she can about everything, and is always investigating all that she can, but unusually for a kit, she sticks to the rules, and is always very polite when asking questions, a lot of the clan thinks she is adorable. To Skunkkit, being a medicine cat is so fascinating, there is so much to learn! Also the thought of helping cats rather than hurting them appeals much more to Skunkkit than the thought of hurting them, and ever since learning that having a third medicine cat is unheard of, Skunkkit tries to keep her distance from the medicine den as she doesn’t want to be more disappointed than she already is, but she can’t help but come back to ask Cricketshine just a few more questions every two to three days, 14/10
Frogkit - An energetic and bold tom. Being a warrior is so cool to Frogkit, he can’t wait to get out into the forest and show the other clans who is boss! Frogkit is always practising his moves wherever he can, often on a volunteering Skunkkit while she tries to take her mind off the medicine den. Every evening Frogkit will bound over to Dappleclaw and demonstrate his newest move and beg her to show it to Loststar, a request Dappleclaw always promises to fulfil. More than once Frogkit has tried to join a warrior patrol, often by saying that he was made an apprentice that morning but everyone was still sleeping, that excuse has never worked, but is has always gained him some amused respect from the warriors for trying such a tactic, 14/10

Duckfeather of RiverClan (m, medicine cat), Gingerpaw of RiverClan (m, medicine cat apprentice, Cricketshine's friend), Curlypaw of ShadowClan (f, Bluestream's apprentice), Haypaw of ThunderClan (f, Hazelheart's apprentice),
Duckfeather - A friendly and gentle tom. Duckfeather is a very approachable cat, and he will often be found chatting with a cat while he sorts out herbs, often these cats are not patients, they just like talking with Duckfeather. Duckfeather is very kind and sympathetic towards his patients, and he specialises in comforting and cheering up kits, always talking to them kindly and letting them know what he is doing so they won’t be scared, often telling them jokes and letting them know that they are braver than most of the warriors he treats. Duckfeather will always cheerfully greet any patrols of other clans he comes across, and they will do the same in return, Duckfeather is a popular cat in all the clans, not just RiverClan, 15/10
Gingerpaw - An intelligent and hardworking tom. Gingerpaw always tries his best to be a good medicine cat, he will never stop practicing something until he gets perfect, and once a day he will try and make time to quiz himself on his herb knowledge to make sure he knows remedies inside out, Cricketshine will often help him revise and give him encouragement when they meet at half moon, something that Gingerpaw really appreciates. Gingerpaw can be a little shy sometimes, he’s always been a little socially awkward, so during gatherings he often sticks close to the other medicine cats, especially Cricketshine, he knows that medicine cats share a bond different to that of other clan cats, so he sees no problem in considering Cricketshine his friend and treating him as such, 14/10
Curlypaw - An energetic and cheerful she-cat. Curlypaw always tries her best to impress Bluestream, sometimes getting a little too enthusiastic and falling flat on her face (often literally), but she always brushes her mistakes off with an quick chirp and an embarrassed lick before getting right back to it. Curlypaw doesn’t let anything get her down, even if she makes mistakes in her training she just takes them as a lesson on what not to do next time and tries her best to do better. Curlypaw is always ready to go, and is always the first apprentice to wake up and the last to sleep at night, and she is always zooming around and asking questions about everything, Bluestream certainly has her law’s full, but she admires her apprentice’s enthusiasm, 14/10
Haypaw - A serious and thoughtful she-cat. Haypaw doesn’t like to take risks, she will always analyse something new and only proceed when she deems it to be safe. Haypaw always tries to stay focused on what she is doing so she can learn as best as she can, and will often try to ignore any other apprentices she is with acting silly or slacking off, in her mind, that is kit behaviour, and she wants to prove herself as a warrior, 14/10

Loststar’s current apprentice, Wanderpaw. As a kit, Wanderpaw was abandoned by her twolegs. Now at six moons old, she was brought into ShadowClan after full medicine cat Cricketshine and his sister Icepaw found her wandering alone and starving. Touched by her story after having been abandoned herself by her family, Loststar is training Wanderpaw herself.
Wanderpaw - An introverted and determined she-cat. Wanderpaw’s abandonment has left her with some trust issues, so she doesn’t tend to be very social, but this is something she wants to get better at, she really likes Loststar, Cricketshine and Icepaw, and some of her other new clanmates, but she is scared of opening up to them and getting hurt all over again. Wanderpaw is determined to prove herself to Loststar and the rest of the clan, and most importantly, herself, she has been made to feel like she wasn’t worth anything for so long, so she wants to feel like she’s worth something, and she hopes that ShadowClan is the place she can discover that. Wanderpaw works very hard in order to prover her worth, and her confidence grows day by day, as does her feeling of relaxation in this new environment she really hopes she can call her forever home, 15/10
