Wow!!! Please tell me you saw JA new IG post. I have been following your board for a while now and I think you would probably have the most incite on what is going on. J looked kinda out of it and the fact that he didn’t do a post with the family, I feel, says a lot without actually saying it. I hope to God he is doing ok. I think I can speak for a lot of us is that we just want that man to finally be happy.
Hello Anon, thank you for the ask. I saw this IG post and didn't feel too much was out of place in this post actually. Believe it or not, I do know a particular demon has been coming and going from Jensen for years now, but it has done so more in the the last couple years. He sounds and looks more "strained" and has a darker energy around him when it is present in him. I can also see it in people's eyes when there is a demon present; it's as if there's a bottomless pit in the pupils and the overall eyes look harsher or just generally not as vibrant looking. It's not so much like the movies such as The Exorcist, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Christine, etc.... at least for now, that is. I can say this with 💯 certainty the demon that has been coming and going was NOT in Jensen in this photo or the video. He seemed more content and calm in the short video clip. I imagine if he was having a bad time he would've held off making any holiday related posts until later, given he cares about his image A LOT.
I am aware some people question whether he was with Danneel in CT for this post and instead with someone else like Jared. I can say with 💯 confidence it IS the CT house he is outside of. As you can see below, the off white brick accent is present around the window with the lower brick on the righthand side of the window being blocked by Jensen's glass (can see it if you look closely enough), the black door with the large glass pane, black window rails, sashes and grilles (basically the inside parts of the window), and bricks coloring are consistent with the CT house. Regarding the video clip, after putting in my earbuds I think the woman's voice was coming from inside the house. Who he may have been looking at while outside and laughing at I can't say. If sources are correct, during the M&G at Nashcon he stated both sides of the family are invited to the CT house for Christmas. Therefore, it's more logical to conclude it may have been a family member's voice that was coming from inside the house and could've been a family member he was outside with. He very likely stepped out to have a private talk with someone outside of the house away from others.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm also aware one of the now former brewers announced on his IG page he was informed he will no longer have a job at FBBC. Initially it sounded like he was fired on that day but it seems he will be coming in to clean up after the holidays are done. If you ask me, it is more or less the same to me as being let go on Christmas. Some are speculating that FBBC's next steps are to sell the equipment then the location. Others are giving FBBC until the end of 2024 before they permanently shut doors. I speculated earlier this year per this post from August 6 it's entirely possible that Jensen purchased the CT house due to having plans for opening a new brewery in CT. I'll explain later in this post but I am aware that Gino was the named manager/owner of another company that seems to have been rebranded to FBBC. It seems with this being said, it's entirely possible history is set to repeat itself in a sense that they just may be packing their bags from Austin to Fairfield business wise too.
Of course, the zoning laws wouldn't allow it to be on the actual property of their house as some people assumed they might open a B&B on this lot. Because why would Jensen purchase such a giant house "so suddenly" otherwise? Zoning laws in Fairfield, CT would not allow it on his lot let alone given the type of zone this house is in; over 10 years ago in 2013, the residents of Fairfield objected to a B&B opening up about 4 miles from this house as a woman named Coke Anne Wilcox made a Text Amendment 652 proposal to amend local laws regarding commercial usages for properties in residential zones. The law amendment never passed and that woman ended up selling the same house she wanted to open the B&B at in September 2016. The zoning laws also won't allow any manufacturing to occur on the type of lot the CT house sits in. Sorry guys but this speculation of them opening a B&B or a brewery on this house's lot is just not factually correct.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I just learned yesterday FBBC operated under another name out in the Malibu, California area years before FBBC opened doors in 2018 thanks to this amazing Tumblr post. It contains a link to an FBBC post dating back to 2013. I believe that even though Jensen was not a technical owner of this brewery, it seems to me that County Coast Brewing Company was rebranded to become Family Beer Business Company and opened doors in Austin in 2018. Per the screenshots in that Tumblr post I linked to earlier in this paragraph, a Facebook post made on January 24, 2015 (now deleted) was made saying "County Coast is moving location and names!!!!!! WTF?! Haha, relocating to the South. #AustinTexas get ready!!!!!" Per opencorporates.com, this County Coast Brewing Company was created on October 4, 2013 and dissolved October 9, 2017. Family Business Beer Company, LLC was created on November 5, 2014 a little over a year after Gino filed to open County Coast Brewing Company. I did some digging after reading that Tumblr post and it seems that County Coast Brewing that named Gino as the now former owner/manager is listed as Suspended FTB as of between July 10, 2021 and October 30, 2022. Not sure why it updated years after it was dissolved but from having done multiple searches on this website, it seems many LLCs may have had updated in 2021 and 2022 perhaps from technical updates going on with the way this website searches and updates its database? From a quick Google search, per the Franchise Tax Board the top result this status means "A business entity is typically suspended, or forfeited, by Franchise Tax Board (FTB) for failure to meet its tax requirements, such as; File a state tax return. Pay. Taxes. Penalties."
Tumblr media
Now going back to the bottom line message of what you were saying to me and what you asked Anon. Jensen as I said in past posts is a "dumped" incarnation currently. He has some work to do in order to gain back his higher selves. A "soul" needs to have a higher self in order to be able to ascend off of Earth after this lifetime. I mentioned before this is a redemption lifetime for Jensen. The bad luck he's been experiencing goes back to being out of touch with his spiritual side and has chosen to focus too much on money and the physical realm of things. Hades Odin and Hermes have expressed their frustrations with him to me on multiple occasions. They've tried to warn him about multiple things in his divine hearing that are bad ideas to follow through on, including but not limited to signing on for Rust, not selling his share of and letting go of FBBC and especially allowing the awful Supe Juice idea to go through, The Winchesters, buying the CT house, etc. I also mentioned before Loki stated Jensen needs to "lose lots of money and his fucking attitude" as part of his redemption. It seems with the lawsuit having its first hearing on Jan 23, 2024 amongst the other things going on that Jensen is certainly in for a rough ride.
Thank you for the ask Anon and I am glad to hear you appreciate my posts :)

Firestone Walker Brewing releases the "crushable" Firestone XPA. The first in a seasonal series for 2024.
Press Release Paso Robles, CA: Firestone Walker today unveiled its first of three seasonal offerings slated for 2024—the all-new Firestone XPA, a next-generation extra pale ale brewed with Southern Hemisphere hops and California style, available now in all Firestone Walker markets. Find it with the FW Beer Finder.  “XPA is the number one craft beer style in Australia and it’s something we’re excited to champion it here in the U.S.," said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. "The appeal of XPAs is obvious--they offer everything you love in a good pale ale at a crushable ABV. We fell in love with the style during our travels to hop farms across Australia and New Zealand and we were inspired to make our own." Firestone XPA (5% ABV) is rolling out to all Firestone Walker markets in can (12-oz six packs) and limited  draft formats for the duration of winter and through the spring season into June. An early batch of Firestone XPA earned a Bronze Medal at the 2023 Great American Beer Festival in the International Pale Ale category. Crisp, Hoppy & Crushable Firestone XPA is built around New Zealand’s Nelson hop with its grapefruit and tropical Sauvignon Blanc qualities, all backed up with a dollop of classic Mosaic hops. The resulting beer offers a trifecta of drinkability: crisp, hoppy and crushable.  Firestone XPA also taps into Firestone Walker’s roots as a heritage brewer of California pale ales.  “Creating this beer brought a lot of joy to our production team, there was definitely some pent-up enthusiasm for pale ale brewing,” Brynildson said. “We went all in to fine-tune several test batches and nail what we were after with this beer.” He added, “We wanted to lead with the punchy tropical qualities of the Nelson hop, and we found that adding just the right amount of Mosaic makes the fruit flavors all the more lush and expansive.”  “XPA is the predominant beer style in Australia for a reason,” said Firestone Walker Brand Director Hannah Barnett. “I think it has the potential to take the U.S. by storm at some point, or at the very least become a fixture in the American pale ale landscape. We’d like to be part of making that happen.” # # # Founded in 1996 by brothers-in-law Adam Firestone and David Walker, Firestone Walker is a second-generation, family-led brewery based on California’s Central Coast. Helmed by highly decorated Brewmaster Matt Brynildson, Firestone Walker's main brewery in Paso Robles produces a diverse portfolio including 805, California's #1 craft beer brand; Mind Haze, a top 5 national hazy IPA; and Cali Squeeze, one of the nation's fastest-growing beer brands. The Firestone brand family also includes iconic beers such as DBA, Union Jack, and Pivo Pils, as well as the storied Vintage Series of barrel-aged strong ales led by Parabola. As a California beer company, Firestone Walker also has two additional locations: the Barrelworks wild ale cellar in Santa Barbara County and the Propagator R&D brewhouse in Venice. Firestone Walker was recently named “Best American Brewery of the Decade” by Paste Magazine. Go By Train: Four Multi-Brewery Day Trips from New York City
Tumblr media
Sand City South in Lindenhurst
It’s getting to be that time of year where all the heat and humidity and garbage smells get to you and you just have to… get away. If you’ve got a day to kill and a hankering to visit a brewery or two, here are a quick few escapes from the city for the day, all doable by commuter rail.
Lindenhurst, Long Island
From nothing just a few years ago, Lindenhurst has become a legitimate beer destination on Long Island, and it’s just an hour by LIRR from Penn Station. The town is anchored by the spacious South Shore location of the new Sand City Brewing, the second outpost of the brewery that got its start on the North Shore in Northport. Walk north on Wellwood Avenue and you’ll find two storefront nanobreweries along the town’s main drag: 27A Brewing, a reliable spot that’s the longest-running of the town’s breweries, and Breslau Brewing, whose taproom feels like a friendly little neighborhood bar. If you’re into mead, W A Meadworks is just up the street, too. If you’re not ready to go home after all that, the outstanding Root + Branch Brewing is just one stop away in Copaigue.
Asbury Park, New Jersey
Tumblr media
The taproom at Wild Air Beerworks in Asbury Park
Head down the shore and you’ll find a stretch of breweries along NJ Transit’s North Jersey Coast Line. Wild Air Beerworks in Asbury Park is just a short walk from the Asbury Park stop, offering an Instagram-friendly taproom with fantastic beers to boot. If you need some food, the Asbury Park Festhalle has some good grub and a house beer made by Two Ton Brewing. Head down the line one stop to Bradley Beach and you’re just a stone’s throw from the bustling Bradley Brew Project on Main Street and Little Dog Brewing Co. across the tracks in Neptune City. Best of all? You’re never more than a 15-minute walk from the beach.
Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County
Tumblr media
Mill House Brewing Company’s brewpub
It’s admittedly a bit of a trek up to Poughkeepsie on Metro-North. But on a nice day, you can stretch your legs after the two-hour train ride on the Walkway Over the Hudson before you head uphill to decide among the city’s six (!) breweries. Mill House is its oldest, serving beers from their twenty-barrel brewery down the road in its Mill Street brewpub. King’s Court was put on the map by their two Great American Beer Festival medals, which in my experience are well-deserved. Zeus Brewing is worth checking out for the view from their rooftop bar. Blue Collar has grown to become a Poughkeepsie mainstay and has a wonderful brick-lined taproom. Obscure Oscillation specializes in Belgian-style beers and has a taproom in a residential neighborhood that’s open only on Thursdays. And while not exactly easily-walkable, Plan Bee Farm Brewery is on the outskirts of town and opens to serve their outstanding 100% New York State farm beers on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Riverhead, Long Island
Tumblr media
North Fork Brewing Company’s taproom
Riverhead is equally far from the city by train as Poughkeepsie (just a little over two hours away), but equally-brewery’ed. The six breweries in this town range from the Irish-themed (Long Ireland), to the little Main Street storefront (Tradewinds), to the shiny brewpub (Peconic County Brewing), to the converted firehouse-turned-taproom (North Fork), to the beer nerd’s paradise (ubergeek), to the music-themed brewery (Twin Fork). Just don’t stay out too late — the last train back to the city is just after 9:30pm every day.

EDITOR:  We just returned from the SC coast.  I don’t like crowds, so I am glad to be home.  While there, I scouted out our next stay, looking for the quaint, noncommercial places.  My favorite was a sweet area with signs in yards that ring my same sentiments.   I will protect the name of the town and insert our own area:   “Don’t change Upstate SC. Let Upstate SC change you.”  Special places need to stay that way where you go to put your feet on the earth, your hands in the water and your face toward the sun.  You go to hike through shaded forests and experience magnificent views of mountains, sunrises and sunsets.  You go to find well-deserved respite and peace.  We need to protect our corner of heaven.  We need to put out the “no vacancy” sign when we are full.  We do not need development to overcrowd and ruin our Upstate SC.  We have what everyone else is running away from, and if each one of us does not help protect our way of life we will lose it.  We need a sign that says “Welcome to a piece of heaven and it is not for development and destruction.” Then, thank the Lord and a farmer.  LRM
Town of SALEM:  Next Town Council meeting June 20, 5pm at the Town Hall.  Plan on our July 4th Celebration.  Starts at 8pm.  Fireworks & Music.  Located on the Ball Field.
SALEM LIBRARY: Open Mondays 10am-6pm. Tues-Friday 9am-5pm
Jottings from Jeannie  That Oconee County Spirit- Pass it On!  Except for that one frilly, pink display table, it was the most ordinary of Garage Sales.   Pink roses and pretty ribbons drew my gaze to the table in question.  It contained tiny baby clothes freshly washed, without a single stain or wrinkle. This presented a mystery.  Why go to all the trouble of unwrapping and washing new items, just to sell them? Then, one shopper solved the mystery and told others what had happened-- which is just not supposed to happen in 2023-- that a beautiful, full-term baby died during the birth process.  That's unheard of in modern times. And now, this bounty of baby shower presents needed to be sold so that the little mama would NOT have to pack them up again.  Well, here comes the Oconee County Spirit: Every woman who came to that sale bought a couple of items, and as each  woman left, she told an arriving shopper about the tragedy of the pretty, pink table.  By the time I left, the entire pretty, pink table held no more reminders of the dear little angel gone too soon.  The empty pretty, pink table now was filled with  memories of neighbors and strangers silently leaving their love. You sons & daughters of Salem!    Open your eyes to what is going on around you! Reach out in love to our neighbors!  Miz Jeannie Loves YOU!!!
JOCASSEE VALLEY BREWING COMPANY,(JVBC) & COFFEE SHOP 13412 N Hwy 11 Open  Wed–Sat-Sat 8am-9pm.  Sun: 2pm-7pm  Events this week: Thurs:  Palmetto Trail Talk at 6pm. Food:  Mac Attack  5pm.   Fri– Food: PACHUY TACOS Music:  SPARE PARTS at 6:30pm.  Sat–Food: LOBSTER DOGS Music: ANDY FERRELL at 6:30pm.  Sun 2pm-7pm      Coffee shop features Pisgah Coffee Roasters and Dough-Dough pastries.
                                    CONSERVATION CORNER
A recent article from Ashton Recalls  explained from even in the early 1900s residents were concerned with conservation of resources, something rarely discussed today in light of developers realizing the value of our resources. No one wants to discuss the possibility of limited water use and the direct proportion to population.  Water is not an infinite resource.    This quote of the week is from that article regarding use of a community well when one individual wanted to use an electric pump:  “unequal consumption would result in unfair advantages and would eventually  leave the well dry.”
HEALTH CORNER    - When you have your grandchildren this summer have fun teaching how to make homemade ice cream or  delicious homemade fruit and yogurt smoothies. Yum. You will be teaching skills for a lifetime.  If you cannot make homemade.  Take them down to Pat’s Cash and Carry for a delicious ice-cream cone! T-Sat 11am-4pm
DAR STUDENT FROM 1942-46 RECALLS EXPERIENCES - - (Twelfth Installment of Pauline Kelley Cannon's memoir). . .Mr. Dupree and the Boy Scouts bought an old Model-T Ford and made a truck out of it. They were going on a camping trip somewhere over in Georgia, but before they started out they killed a goat, dressed and cooked it, and ate it. They said it tasted real good. . .They had some problems on the way but were able to fix them with hay bailing wire. When they got there--or almost there--they had to camp out in a cemetery. I don't think they slept very much that night. . .While they were gone Miss Murock decided to take the Girl Scouts on a hike to Chatham's store, and then we would climb Tamasse Knob. That was a real steep mountain and we would have to pull ourselves up by holding onto some small trees and bushes. We were exhausted when we got back to school, but we still had to do our jobs. . .ONE DAY AS WE WERE SITTING on the porch Mr. Lawrence Grant walked by and said to us, "Girls, did I ever tell you the story about Simon?" We said no, and he said, "Simon sold his wife for a duck egg, but the duck egg was rotten so he sold it for cotton. The cotton was yellow so he sold it for tallow. The tallow stunk so he sold it for spunk. The spunk wouldn't burn so he sold it for a churn. The churn had a crack so he sold it for a sack. The sack was tore so he sold it for a boar. The boar was wild so he sold it for a child. The child was cross so he sold it for a 'hoss. The 'hoss wouldn't run so he sold it for a gun. The gun wouldn't shoot so he sold it for a boot. The boot wore out and left him to pout!". . .Sometimes Mr. Grant would also dance a little jig for us.--TO BE CONTINUED NEXT WEEK

Kona Coffee from Hawaii, Roasting, Brewing and Cupping
Tumblr media
Hawaiian Kona Coffee is a famous Hawaiian coffee native to Kona County on the west coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, known for its high-quality coffee since the early 19th century. Hawaii Kona coffee beans are the common name for coffee Arabica plants grown under the setting sun on the western slopes of the beautiful Hualalai and Mauna Loa volcanoes on the Big Island of Hawaii.
The taste and aroma of freshly brewed Hawaiian Kona coffee are unmatched. The rich yet smooth taste satisfies the taste buds in the morning and gives you energy for the day. Every morning is Kona morning when you drink this. Nobody wants to go back to cheap, poor quality, and mediocre taste.
Kona Coffee
Kona coffee is a superior quality gourmet Arabica coffee grown in the west Kona district of the Big Island of Hawaii, USA. The growing area is also popularly known as the Kona Coffee Belt and Kona Coffee County. Kona coffee from Hawaii is known for its simple yet rich flavor.
Typically the coffee is light, delicate, and mild with complex aromas. Traditional Kona coffee has a subtle, sweet, and fruit flavor with syrupy, spicy, and nutty notes. It tastes like coffee with brown sugar, milk chocolate, honey, and fruit. The climate and soil where the coffee is grown provide ideal conditions for coffee beans. The volcanic soils and western slopes of the Kona Mountains offer shelter and fertile land.
Coffee Roasting and Brewing
Coffee roasting involves heating the seeds of coffee cherries to enhance their aroma and flavor and ultimately their solubility. The compound's solubility rate in a particular roast is the key to achieving the correct extraction through temperature, time, and grind size. This is the "unification theory" for coffee grown facilities. Coffee brewing is the process of extracting soluble substances from roasted and ground coffee.
Reputed coffee roasting companies check the quality of coffee beans before purchasing. They analyze the standard of coffee beans deeply making sure the roasted coffee beans should meet the expectations of their esteemed clientele. Coffee beans are roasted at a specific temperature and time. All coffees are roasted for special order. It is roasted in small batches for specialty coffees and larger batches for more traditional coffees. Their bespoke roast batches ensure the coffee remains fresh for a long time.
Coffee Cupping
Coffee cupping or coffee tasting is a method of observing the taste and aroma of freshly brewed coffee. This is a professional practice but can be done informally by anyone or professionals. Coffee is cupped and graded according to its quality. The first step after preparing the sample is to crack opens the crust (the top layer of the piece) and smells the coffee to make sure the right aroma is present. The next step is to sip a sample of coffee and evaluate its flavor characteristics.
Gold Star Coffee Company provides the best-tasted coffee in the world and is known as an award-winning specialty coffee roaster and green coffee trader.  Here,
Hawaiian Kona Coffee
quality is guaranteed and it uses a 100-year-old roasting technique producing the best-tasting Specialty Gourmet Arabica Coffee.

Sonoma/Napa trip
Just spent a long weekend with Valorie, Hillery and Ron in Sonoma County, CA. I don't believe I have laughed so much, or felt so relaxed in quite some time. The four of us had a blast experiencing wine country and the beautiful weather in Sonoma County.  I also learned that Valorie and I passed the test and we are approved for further vacation experiences with Ron.
Day 1
Arrived in Sacramento and took a long drive to arrive at our hotel in Rohnert Park (Santa Rosa area).
Went out that evening in Santa Rosa and meandered around downtown.  Checked out the Russian River Brewing company (pizza bites are damn good). We strolled down to the Belly Left Coast Kitchen so that Ron could buy a couple of $30 shots of tequila (not on purpose).  This was enough to send us back to the hotel for the evening, but not withouht a stop by Spaaaarc (you have to hear Ron say it)
 Day 2
Headed out for the Russian River valley for our first wine tasting at Francis Ford Coppola’s vineyards.  What a beautiful place.  We got there early enough to take our own tour of the vineyards and the gardens. Linda was our guide through our first tasting and she was awesome.  A fire alarm went off in the middle of our tasting and everyone had to evacuate to the parking lot.  Luckily, the Lovely Linda was savvy enough to bring the bottle and we all had an extra taste. Ate lunch on the grounds and headed to our second destination.
Next stop, Quivira, where we continued with our guide Leo (the Aquarius).  I think this was the leg of the trip where the “there was a man in the ditch” punch line was born (except the ditch was a valley).  Quivira was a much different feel than Coppola, but still a charming place surrounded by vineyards and the farm. Time was tight, so we didn’t really explore very much here, maybe next time.
On to the final tasting of the day, Mill Creek.  It was here we met Bruce, who Valorie and Hillery first pegged as a Mr. Grumpy Gills. However, it turned out Bruce was a chatty fellow with a lot of information and curiosity about our home back in MS.  He also gave us some great tips about dining and exploring on the coast.  Everyone voted Mill Creek as the best wine tasting of the day.
From Mill Creek, we headed over to Bodega Bay and had a fully carbed out supper at Lucas Wharf. After eating, we drove out to the coast at Bodega Head so Valorie and Hillery could get a look at the Pacific from this northern location. Valorie’s favorite location of the day, and made her sad she didn’t have her SLR for pictures.
 Day 3
Headed to the north end of Napa valley on this morning, destination Calistoga. Our first tasting of the day was at Tank Garage winery.  Quite an interesting place, it is a remodeled old gas station/garage. It’s in the middle of Calistoga, so no vineyards.  But, great freaking wine!  Both couples ended up ordering 3 bottles to ship home.
From Tank, we headed into Calistoga on foot.  It had become a little warm, so this ended up being a march of death just to make it to the famous Indian Springs resort.  We were underwhelmed, possibly because we were so hot. The next stop was lunch, and then off to Frog’s Leap.
Frog’s Leap was probably a dead tie with the Coppola vineyards for beauty.  It looks like an old ranch. There is a big beautiful red barn, where the grapes are processed, which stands next to a huge American Craftsman style two story home.  It was a huge bonus that the wines were outstanding as well.
After this, we decided to pack it in for the night, sit by the pool, and enjoy one of the Mill Creek wines Ron had purchased.  And Valorie all but demanded we have In-N-Out Burger for supper.
 Day 4
We were supposed to be heading home.  After sitting on the runway for almost 2 hours in Sacramento, we ended up missing our connecting flight in Houston. United put us up in a nice Holiday Inn.  I guess it was a combination of road exhaustion and frustration at not getting home, but we somehow managed, between the 4 of us, to virtually drain the hotel bar in a matter of about 30 minutes.  The night ended with us gorging on 2 pizzas and falling into bed.
All in all, it was a fantastic trip where we all got to see parts of the country we had never seen.  And, as I said before, the laughs were nonstop.  We had great food, great wine, and great company.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and that you're all ready for this year to end already. I'm pretty sure given what's happened in Jensen's life, he sure is ready for 2023 to go out the door. Big Sky and The Winchesters getting cancelled, FBBC having 2 brewers quit in 1 week, firing several other employees according to some posts that were here on Tumblr and on Instagram, and let's not forget The Winchesters lawsuit that was filed earlier this year. I'm aware some people here have been speculating on what is to come of Jensen's brewery FBBC, so I thought I'd share a little bit of some interesting history with regards to the Ackles and Graul families in business.
In a previous post, I talked about some of the history of FBBC itself being tied to a brewery called County Coast Brewing Company that was in the Malibu, California area back in 2013. The former address was 29201 Heathercliff Road #116 in Malibu, CA. Gino was the listed owner of this brewery that was incorporated 10/4/2013 and became inactive 10/9/2017, 4 years and 5 days after this company was formed. Its current inactive status is listed as Suspended Ftb/Sos. One noteworthy mention here, I couldn't find this County Coast Brewing Company anywhere as being say "permanently closed" as you would other businesses. No Google reviews or searches are available either for this company. Hmm, it's just like it never existed unless you know to look up Gino's name and affiliated LLCs or remember the name of this company...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
According to this website, it says under the Why is My Business Suspended section: "Generally, businesses are suspended when they fail to:
File a return
Pay
Taxes
Penalties
Fees
Interest
You may be able to find out the reason for suspension using MyFTB. Business entities registered with Secretary of State (SOS) must file and pay at least $800 franchise or annual tax from their registration date to current, regardless of business activity. Visit due dates for businesses for more information on when to file and pay."
After doing some further research thanks to this Tumblr post, it does seem that after Jensen filed for the incorporation of Family Business Beer Company back on 11/5/2014 in Dallas Texas, 1 year, 1 month and 1 day after County Coast Brewing Company was filed in California under Gino's name. Interestingly enough, a couples post that were seemingly tied to the County Coast Brewing Company dated prior to FBBC opening doors in January 2018 are still on the Facebook page. This post dated 4/8/2014 BEFORE FBBC was incorporated but is on the FBBC Facebook page states "On our way to Denver for the 2014 Craft brewer's Conference!!!" This photo dated 12/8/2013 has a caption stating "looking forward to trying out our newest batch of Pale Ale!" Again, no comments on it date past 3/17/2017 just like the other post that predates the official opening of FBBC in Austin on 1/10/2018 by several years.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The other Tumblr post I mentioned here even has a screenshot (along with several others) of posts that have been deleted including one that was posted on 1/24/2015 at 6:56pm saying "County Coast is moving location and names!!!!!! WTF?! Haha, relocating to the South. #AustinTexas get ready!!!!" Given the Graul and Ackles family histories of deleting comments they deemed unsavory on the FBBC Instagram page, it doesn't surprise me that they cleaned up shop on the internet and Facebook pages to try eliminating the existence of the failed County Coast Brewing Company and rebranding their Facebook page to become Family Business Beer Company's. According to this article, it states "While living in California, Jensen and Gino often brewed their own beers at home. The family moved to Austin and decided to finally open their own place. They found the Dripping Springs property in 2014, hooked up with now-head brewer Nate Seale, and got started from there." Guess they forgot to mention the former location the had in California that got suspended due to noncompliance with state tax regulations. Hmm....
Now, this is where things start to get interesting regarding the history of both the Ackles and Graul families and business. I mentioned the suspended ftb status that was put on the County Coast Brewing Company before. I also took the liberty of researching LLCs affiliated with Jensen and Danneel and found some similar statuses on previous companies they had incorporated in the past. I elected to put some notes to summarize things like when these companies were voluntarily dissolved (or straight up suspended) in the screenshots below. The Ackles Talent Services, Inc. California branch that was incorporated 6/22/2010 was suspended on 4/2/2013 and also has a forfeited ftb status which translates to the same status that is on the other brewing company that was in Gino Graul's name.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Looking over Danneel's companies, there is a Talking Poodle Productions, Inc. that holds the status "Inactive action by Secretary of State" that used to read as "Active not in good standing for failure to file annual report". According to this website for 2006 Louisiana laws titled 2006 Louisiana Laws - RS 12:163 — Failure to file annual reports; revocation and reinstatement of articles and limitation on authority to do business with the state, it states the following interesting tidbits of information: "§163.  Failure to file annual reports; revocation and reinstatement of articles and limitation on authority to do business with the state
A.  Where a corporation has failed to designate and maintain a registered office, or to designate and maintain a registered agent pursuant to the provisions of R.S. 12:104, for a period of ninety consecutive days, or where a corporation has failed to file an annual report for three consecutive years, according to the records of the secretary of state, the secretary of state shall revoke the articles of incorporation and franchise of such corporation."
Also, "F.(1)  As used in this Subsection the phrase "not in good standing" means any corporation which is delinquent in filing an annual report.
(2)  Each corporation, domestic and foreign, which is not in good standing is prohibited from engaging in commercial business operation with the state or its boards, agencies, departments, or commissions.  Any contract between a corporation which is not in good standing and the state or its boards, agencies, departments, or commissions is subject to be declared null and void, by said board, agency, department, or commission or by the Division of Administration."
There are of course other parts I didn't put in here for the sake of keeping this post a reasonable length but it seems that the bottom line message is the same here: The Grauls and Ackles have a history of not complying with tax laws and is unlikely they simply forgot to file taxes or annual reports as necessary. Was this to hide questionable financial practices? Are both families hiding unethical behaviors? Are they unable to afford accountants who can properly file all reports with state and federal tax governmental branches appropriately, so they can stay in business? Are these simple, honest mistakes on behalf of the Graul and Ackles' families? Not sure what you all think of this but it is entirely possible with this information here that there are some questionable business practices going on here and that the speculations here about FBBC not doing so good just might have some factual basis.

Michael Gary Kolodin
Michael Gary Kolodin decided to migrate from a 30-year career in credit and collections to beer brewing. Originally when Michael Gary Kolodin was sent to India to train collection call centers on the federal rules and regulations, Sandeep Bhatnagar was asked to take care of the American. Michael Gary Kolodin was that American. Sandeep was by his side for all training sessions, and they became close friends. Sandeep left after about 7 or so years and Sandeep went into beer brewing, sales, service, and maintenance and captured a majority of that segment in India.
In 2017, Sandeep called Michael Gary Kolodin, who was in Long Island, New York at the time and advised him that he, Sandeep would be speaking at a brewery conference in Washington DC, and it was decided Michael Gary Kolodin, and Sandeep Bhatnagar would meet in Washington DC and spend a few days together. During that three-day period together Sandeep and Michael Gary Kolodin decided that Michael would change his career path and go into beer brewing with Sandeep Bhatnagar. Together, they launched The Total Beverage Companies in 2017. Sandeep Bhatnagar had opened some 75 + third party brewpub build outs some for JW Marriott and The Radisson Hotel Group over the previous decade. Together they opened Orange County Brewers powered by Total Beverage in Fall of 2019 in Lake Mary, Florida, which was a brewery, bar restaurant.
The Total Beverage Companies are now focused on the Eustis Brewery Project, which is a production brewery that will brew beer and hard seltzer products for other brewpubs (guest taps), bars, restaurants, lounges, clubs, bistros, taverns and our canned products to convenience and package goods stores and gas stations initially from Daytona Beach on the east coast through central Florida (Orlando, Florida) along the I-4 corridor to Tampa Bay on the west coast and potentially statewide.
Michael Gary Kolodin will be the operations partner and run the day-to-day operations of the brewery, while Sandeep Bhatnagar as the BrewRu (Brewery Guru) will run the brewery operations. Once the Eustis Brewery Project is operational, Michael Gary Kolodin together with his partners, Sandeep Bhatnagar and David Hadley will look to open production breweries in Dallas Texas, Loveland Colorado, Nashville Tennessee, and Phoenix Arizona and employ the same successful policies and procedures previously used in Lake Mary and overseas.
Who doesn’t want to make beer and money has become the motto for Michael Gary Kolodin and The Total Beverage Companies. Michael Gary Kolodin now shares the passion and enthusiasm for brewing beer and managing beer production facilities. The future looks bright for beer as it always has. Michael Gary Kolodin, Sandeep Bhatnagar and David Hadley look into the future as though it holds something special for them and the Total Bever Companies.

Now distributing through River Barrel Distributing Bellingham Cider Company and Trap Door.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Press Release
Western Washington will soon have even more local beverage options to choose from as River Barrel Distributing partners with Trap Door Brewing and Bellingham Cider Company.
Founded in 2014 by Bryan Shull in Vancouver, WA, Trap Door Brewing is a multi-generational company producing an array of high-quality, award-winning beers. It currently operates two locations – a brewery and “beer porch” in Vancouver and a brewery and kitchen at its production location in Washougal.
Trap Door offers a selection of beer styles including lagers, pilsners, fruited sours, stouts, and pale ales, but what it’s most known for are its hazy IPAs.
“Trap Door is a hop-focused brewery,” says Jake Watt, Head Brewer. “This means you can expect any modern, hop-forward style from us and for us to be on the leading edge of hoppy beers including clear and hazy seasonals and one-offs.”
Made with Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops, Glowed Up IPA is one of their most popular beers and a 2019 gold medal winner at the Washington Beer Awards. Other favorites include the Trap Door IPA and award winners Day Beer West Coast Pilsner and Porch Beer Pale Ale. In addition to hazys, the brewery has a strong lager program and led by its annual Interiority Imperial Stout, is starting to focus on a barrel program for stouts and barleywines.
“We are excited to bring Trap Door Brewing on board and to feature a brewery that's part of the fast-growing beer culture of Vancouver,” says Jeremiah Smith, Sales Director at River Barrel Distributing. “And like many of our other brands, Trap Door has deep ties to its community and a passion for brewing quality beers.”
RBD has also added another cidery to its list of craft beverage makers. Bellingham Cider Company is a solar-powered cidery that produces small-batch hard cider from 100% Washington apples. The company prides itself on being “Fiercely Local,” using fresh, local ingredients and adding no sulfites, sugars, or preservatives.
Bellingham Cider was begun by Josh Serface and Bryce Hamilton. Both not only came from backgrounds of growing and pressing fruit, but also made their own homemade beer and cider. When they decided Bellingham needed a great cider presence, they opened their bayside location in 2018.
“Only using Washington-sourced ingredients, we are excited to share the bounty of our state by growing our Washington distribution,” says Bryce Hamilton, Owner of Bellingham Cider.
The company offers a variety of fruit-forward ciders like their Rainier Cherry Dry, Blackberry Ginger, Imperial Pineapple, and even a Cascade- and Citra-hopped variety dubbed as “cider for the beer drinker.”
“Washington has so much great fruit – especially apples," says Joe Cohen, Sales Manager at River Barrel Distributing. “We’re excited to bring in a supplier to showcase the amazing bounty of our state – as well as another unique presence from the ‘craft beverage mecca’ of Bellingham.”
River Barrel Distributing serves King, Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Snohomish, Kitsap, and Chelan counties in Western Washington and is actively growing its list of craft beverage makers.

Hop into History: Archives and Alcohol in America
Today I gave a talk for the Society of American Archivists conference. Sort of. It was classified as a “social event” and we called it “Hop into History: Archives and Alcohol in America.” It included a presentations by Kira Dietz (cocktail history), Doug Boyd (all things bourbon and oral history), Richard Cox (part of Team Well Crafted North Carolina), Rich Schmidt (Oregon Wine History Archives), and me.
The talk was recorded!
I have a lot of good stories to tell after 7 years of running this archive... But I was selfish and talked about myself. Ot at least selfish and talked about my family.
And hops.
Here’s what I said.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Though early European settlers found native wild hops in nearby woods, by the early 19th century the New England states and New York had dedicated commercial hops growing areas. New York had better soil and proximity to large population centers, and it quickly dominated the other states.
However, soon the hop growing center shifted again to the west coast. Though settlers brought root stock to plant in kitchen gardens and staff grew hops at the Fort Vancouver Farm as early as 1836, west coast commercial hop growing began in earnest in the 1850s. By 1900, both Oregon and California produced more hops than New York. In addition to good soil and weather, early western farmers were helped by the construction of the transcontinental railroad, which allowed them to transport their hops to breweries in the mid-west and east.
And to prompt the question – yes hops were still grown during Prohibition but were primarily grown for export. Oregon, Washington, and California led in hop production, and soon Idaho joined the other three western states. Following WWII, the US was the largest hop producing country in the world, though much of what was produced here was exported.
Tumblr media
Hop farmers in Oregon faced the problem that plagued other hop-growing states: insects and fungal infections. Research scientists at Oregon Agricultural College had helped farmers with testing and talked about pests or drying since the 1890s; here’s an example of the public sharing of research in an extension station bulletin focused on the hop louse. In 1930 the USDA and OAC formalized a hop research program that would look directly at breeding new varieties and increasing production.
A big issue for farmers at the time was that the hops they were growing (Early and Late Clusters) were meant to grow in England or Europe. They tried growing more mildew tolerant hops like Fuggle, Bullion, or Brewer’s Gold, but still struggled. In 1972, Dr. Alfred Haunold released the Cascade hop, which had been crossed in 1956 and essentially ignored. Other popular modern American hop varieties followed, including Willamette, Nugget, and Sterling.
Tumblr media
Like hops, my family has also been in Oregon a really long time. My great+ grandma Euphemia Shrum, shown here on the right, came to Oregon in 1846, and her husband John H. Edmunson came in 1850. And in my direct line, my daughter Ella, on the left, is the first to have been born outside of Oregon since Euphemia. I am currently waiting for my niece/nephew to be born in Portland as I speak, so my sister will beat me to the “unbroken line” line!
Tumblr media
Euphemia’s grandsons, my great-great grandpa Henry Edmunson and his brother John, were farmers, and by 1897 they were trying their hand at hops with a yard planted in Goshen, Oregon. Over the next decade they were quite successful; John was elected chairman of the Lane County Growers Association and their farm activities were reported in local newspapers.

Newspapers and legal documents alike spelled our name wrong…

The Edmunsons farmed their land through the late 1950s, but sour cherries had replaced hops after mildew wiped them out in the 1940s.
They were in good company. In 1900, there were roughly 250 growers in Oregon, a number that ballooned to 2,000 in 1914 and earned Oregon the distinction of being the nation's largest producer. By 1930, there were 14,000 acres harvested in Oregon and the crop was valued at 2.3 million dollars! Over the years, these growers relied on the scientists at Oregon Agricultural College to help with a variety of concerns from drying studies to disease management to chemistry to quality control.
When I was growing up my dad told stories about the family farms in Goshen and Junction City. They were sort of interesting to me and I suppose I enjoyed hearing about filbert orchards and sour cherries, but they had little connection to my life, which was filled with friendship bracelets, red popsicles, and Wham! My dad was in high school when his dad passed away, and rather than following the path to farming, circumstances led him to Oregon State University and a degree in Liberal Studies, and later into politics and law. I moved even farther from farming, earning graduate degrees in English Literature and Library Sciences.
Tumblr media
Fast forward to me working at a land grant university, running a brewing archive, looking at ag records. After over a decade in the archives profession I was accustomed to surprises. But I was still shocked to find this personal connection between Edmunson hops, Oregon Agricultural College, and Bert Pilkington, an Experiment Station hops chemist in the office correspondence from 1915 in the Agricultural Experiment Station Records.
The document referred to a 1914 court case involving John Edmunson, name spelled incorrectly with a second “d,” who was suing a buyer, Marcus J. Netter, for refusing a sale in 1912 because Netter claimed the hop quality was poor. Pilkington tested the hops and testified in court, saving Edmunson approximately $3000.
Tumblr media
I did more research to fill in details about the case, because who could leave a mystery unexplored? I read Pilkington’s testimony in its entirety in The Pacific Reporter, a series of state Supreme Court decisions, including details about hop resin quantity, brewing potential, and the cleanliness of the Edmunson picking.
Tumblr media
In addition to loving my job because it is really quite fun, I really value this personal connection to the land, my university, and this history.
The Agricultural Experiment Station Records at OSU are complemented by other collections produced by research units at the university, as well as other collections I’ve added since starting the archives in 2013. I’ve also been working with a beer history class for the past 3 terms and have a beer research guide that’s in perpetual beta.

A Tale of Two Jeffreys: How the Virgin Islands Welcomed a Rich Sex Offender—and Punished a Poor One

A Tale of Two Jeffreys: How the Virgin Islands Welcomed a Rich Sex Offender—and Punished a Poor One
By Michael Daly, Special Correspondent | Published 07.28.19, 6:01AM ET | Daily Beast | Posted July 28, 2019 |
From the Virgin Islands comes a tale of two Jeffreys, and the difference great wealth can make when it comes to sex crimes—until it doesn't.
Both Jeffreys were convicted of shameful crimes that required them to register as sex offenders in whatever state or jurisdiction they resided.
Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida to engaging a minor in prostitution in a 2007 plea deal only a super-rich guy could have swung. He did 18 months locked up, mostly in a private wing of the Palm Beach County jail, where he only stayed at night, returning each morning to “work release.”
He then proceeded to prove that a registered sex offender with enough money in the Virgin Islands can just continue to come and go from a private island off the coast of St. Thomas, with an ever-changing entourage of girls who appeared to be barely in their teens. He would announce his periodic return by raising the American flag over the opulent hideaway identified on the maps as Little Saint James Island, but known to locals as “pedophile island.”
Jeffrey No. 2—Jeffery Cole—was convicted in Ohio of a misdemeanor charge of voyeurism in 2009. He was a schlub of modest means, but his offense was relatively minor (if creepy) and he needed neither wealth nor influence to receive just a suspended sentence of 90 days and two years probation.
“The underlying conviction, which requires Mr. Cole to register as a sex offender, did not involve a minor, physical violence, or physical touching of any kind,” his present attorney, Melanie Turnbull, noted in court.
We Found Red Flags All Over Jeffrey Epstein’s Jail Records
Once he successfully completed probation, Cole moved to Georgia, where he registered as a sex offender. He moved to the Virgin Islands in 2018 and has not been charged with engaging in further voyeurism or any other crimes.
The problem for this Jeffrey was that he failed to register promptly in his new home as a sex offender. The U.S. Attorney for the Virgin Islands, Gretchen Shappert, did not miss an opportunity to convey through the media how seriously her office takes such matters.
“USVI resident indicted for not registering as sex offender,” the headline in a local news outlet read.
That February 28th article was accompanied by a photo illustration that showed a parked auto with a driver-side front door emblazoned with the words “SEX OFFENDER In This Car.” It also pictured a house with a sign out front reading, ”SEX OFFENDER LIVES HERE.”
On April 12, Cole entered into a  plea deal where he faces a sentence of no more than a year.
“St. Thomas Resident Pleaded Guilty to Failing to Register as a Sex Offender,” the U.S. Attorney’s press release announced.
In the meantime, on March 15, the other Jeffrey flew into St. Thomas aboard his private jet. He made his annual check-in at the local sex registry office, a gesture that can now be seen as a kind of mockery, as it’s been revealed that he had been seen still bringing young girls to his private island.
“Everybody was like, ‘Oh, yeah, that’s pedophile island,’” remembers a Wall Street numbers cruncher turned pizzeria owner who arrived in the Virgin Islands from New York in 2009.
Where were the authorities when it came to this Jeffrey?
Epstein’s Coney Island Days: From Math Nerd to ‘Arrogant’ Prick
At least four members of the local legislature accepted significant campaign contributions from Southern Trust Company, Inc., one of a host of business entities Epstein founded in the Virgin Islands. Those companies began with L.S.J, LLC, through which he bought his private island for $7.95 million in 1998.
Epstein had hired Cecile de Jongh, wife of former Virgin Islands Gov. John de Jongh, as the office manager for Southern Trust, which was granted income tax breaks of up to 90 percent by the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority. The former first lady also managed the Epstein VI Foundation, which supported everything from brain research at Harvard to the girls’ volleyball team at St. Croix Central High School in the Virgin Islands.
After Epstein was arrested in Florida for a sex crime involving a minor, a Virgin Islands newspaper called The Avis ran an article suggesting that Cecile de Jongh’s connections with Epstein might muddy her husband’s political prospects. The Avis also noted that the arrest called into question whether the girls’ volleyball team should have jerseys bearing the name Epstein.
A purported grassroots movement collected 5,000 signatures on a petition accusing The Avis of yellow journalism. Epstein attorney Gerald Lefcourt issued a statement saying, “The grand jury and the prosecutor's office... determined that no serious offense had occurred.”
Really.
Epstein kept partying on Pedophile Island. He is said to have met some resistance when he sought to buy the nearby, larger island of Great St James. The blue-blood Danish family that owned it is said to have been reluctant to sell to someone with Epstein’s unsavory reputation. But he appears to have managed to acquire it anyway in 2016 by cloaking the buyer’s identity with a company called Great St. Jim LLC. He is said to have paid $18 million.
Epstein immediately applied for a permit to erect two 80-foot flag poles, arguing that the 45-foot limit on the books should not apply to his property. No doubt at least one of the poles would be used to fly an American flag and announce for everyone to see when the owner of Pedophile Island was back.
But construction of a compound on the bigger island was delayed by environmental concerns that even somebody as well-connected as Epstein could not just circumvent.
And there was far greater trouble brewing for Epstein as the result of a determined reporter, Julie Brown of the Miami Herald.
Brown revealed and documented the unconscionable plea deal Epstein had been granted. The Manhattan U.S. Attorney launched a new investigation.
In reviewing the 2007 Florida case, the FBI noted a court document reporting an incident that when agents served Epstein’s personal assistant Lesley Groff with a grand jury subpoena, she excused herself, purportedly to check on her child. She is said by the court document to have used the moment to telephone Epstein, who was headed in his private plane from Palm Beach to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey across the Hudson River from New York. He was in the company of another assistant, Nadia Marcinkova, who has been accused of complicity in his sex trafficking.
“Mr. Epstein became concerned that the FBI would try to serve his traveling companion, Nadia Marcinkova, with a similar grand jury subpoena,” the document reports. “In fact, the agents were preparing to serve Ms. Marcinkova with a target letter when the flight landed in Teterboro. Mr. Epstein then redirected his airplane, making the pilot file a new flight plan to travel to the US Virgin Islands instead.”
The American flag no doubt again went up over Pedophile Island as the FBI stood thwarted at Teterboro.
A dozen years later, the FBI took great care that Epstein received no warning. He flew unsuspecting on July 6 from Paris to Teterboro and a waiting pair of handcuffs.
On July 8, Epstein was arraigned in Manhattan federal court on charges of trafficking in underage girls. He was remanded as a flight risk and a danger to the community. He was consigned to the Metropolitan Correctional Center, briefly in general population but within hours assigned to the Special Housing Unit due to threats from inmates who apparently take a dim view of “short eyes,” as child molesters are known behind bars.
Epstein must have considered the arrest a possibility, for some time ago he commissioned an artist to paint a mural in his Manhattan mansion of him in a prison yard. Neither he nor the artist seem to have foreseen that he would find himself locked up 23 hours a day in an eight-by-eight foot cell infested with cockroaches and rodents. A thickly screened single narrow window faces a brick wall and lets in only enough light to tell night from day. Mold is said to grow on the walls. Water seeps in under the door from a shower to which he has access only once every three days.
For two weeks, Epstein’s cellmate was an ex-cop named Nicholas Tartaglione, who is accused of a quadruple murder. Tartaglione says the two became “friends,” whereby he joined a list that once included two presidents, Donald Trump and Bill Clinton. A realtor who asked not to be identified recently told The Daily Beast that Trump exclaimed at a business gathering at Tavern on the Green some years ago that Epstein was “my best friend.”
Tartaglione has reportedly told authorities that he saved Epstein from a suicide attempt. But Trump may not be the only liar on Epstein's list of pals. Tartaglione ended up in the Special Housing Unit after he was caught with a cellphone that he insisted had just been given to him by another inmate. Tartaglione then moved to keep the government from inspecting the phone’s contents on the grounds it may have privileged communications with his lawyer and with his wife. Never mind it was supposedly not his.
Epstein is now said to be on suicide watch. He is 66 and, if convicted, he stands a good chance of dying in prison even if he takes the best possible care of himself. He may have finally landed in a situation where all his money cannot save him from suffering the consequences of his actions.
Also behind bars is the other Jeffrey, having been remanded when he entered his guilty plea in April.
Cole had been free on his own recognizance since his arraignment, the court having deemed him to be neither a flight risk nor a danger to the community. His attorney petitioned for him to remain at liberty pending sentencing, which is set for August 15.
The attorney noted that Cole is a 57-year-old graduate of Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in landscape architecture, had been steadily employed for more than 30 years and was presently a fleet manager at a car rental company. He would be able to continue working there until his day of reckoning.
The judge remanded Cole nonetheless. Cole was shipped off to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. His attorney has since filed a motion to expedite matters.
“The current sentencing date inevitably results in a period of incarceration of four months,” the petition noted, adding that Cole was eligible to receive probation and no time at all.
As of Saturday, the sentencing was still set for August 15. Cole remains behind bars in Guaynabo. But he will almost certainly be free within the next few months.
And you can bet that this Jeffrey would not trade places with the other one for all the money in the world
