underappreciated part of watermelon: the seeds

they are crunchy and when you peel the shell off with your teeth the insides is soft and enjoyable to consume. you can form a method to it or crunch them as they are, providing interesting texture and variety to the melon experience.

some melons have average seeds but some melons have highly enjoyable crunchy seeds that go perfectly with the texture of the flesh. i recently had a waterlemon in which finding and chewing on the seeds was akin to finding and chewing on little chocolate chips in ice cream. i have lately found that i get more disappointed when there isnt seeds in the melon than when there is. far too many people waste an extra little snack!!!
