It also relaxes the harsh feeling HT and ST angles, which effectively increases fork rake, thus lowering trail, improving handling in all riding conditions, unequivocally. My customer Denis recently brought me a pair of vintage Araya cruiser rims, a New Bullseye front hub and a vintage Bendix coaster brake rear hub. I assembled them with stainless Wheelsmith butted spokes and 14mm long brass nipples.
