Welcome to the new year 🎉!

First off, thank you to those that still have an interest in the blog, much appreciated 😊. Here’s a rundown what to expect in 2024:

The lads: the focus is on 2019 which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea (but completes the five year rewatch started on Twitter revamping episode sets and that I’ve been running in parallel here from around their 2016 story onward). What I can confirm is that I won’t be doing the entire year but how far past the night out is up in the air… but it is a hard stop at anything past the forest scene as I’m still unable to watch most of the episodes after especially Ryan’s last episode all these years later.

Unlike last year where there was the On this day… and It’s about two lads series, I don’t really have anything in mind for this year so will be playing it by ear. The monthly summary of Twitter fic recommendations will also continue.

The Friday weekly Robert/Ryan posts will also be continuing as long as Robert is not on the show. If we get Ryan!Robert back at some point (the Dire Duo formerly the Horrid Trio really need to be kicked to the curb in 2024), will be back to giffing their current scenes.

Classic ED: This will be in the final year of Karl!Robert. After his exit, I won’t be watching Classic that often unless there’s an interesting story (such as Gennie & Nikhil which was my first time ever hearing of ED) but will continue posting the schedule as I have but stripped down. There are still a couple of Danny Webb!Aaron 2006 episodes to air so will be looking out for them. Once they are all done, a central post will be up with all those episodes as I have been doing for young Robert. There will also be the yearly episode posts for 2004 and 2005 (potentially earlier years not done yet) as well as a look through the years for Karl!Robert as I had done with Christopher!Robert.
