Hobie doesn’t know what he was expecting when Miguel called him over to show a new recruit around. He was expecting another stuck up, annoying so called “hero.”
He definitely was not expecting you.
It was like he was looking in a mirror the second he saw you, just a mirror that turned him into a girl.
“Hobie, I need you to show ms… uh…”
“L/n.”
“Right. Show Ms. L/n around.” He waved his hand.
If you were anyone else he would’ve probably told Miguel to piss off. But you were beautiful, and you seemed cool.
“Alright.” Hobie played it cool, as always, shoving his hands in his jacket pockets.
You smiled at him and he smiled back as you both began walking.
“So, what brings you here?” You asked him.
“Eh.. I mostly just came for free stuff. I steal tons of parts, and I get to travel through universes.” He shrugged.
“Got it.” You said, as he continued to show around the place. And him showing you the place around ended up with you two having lunch together.
“So, what’s your favorite band?” You asked him as you both ate.
“Uh.. I like the Sex Pistols. Either them or the ramones.” He said, thinking about it.
You smiled. “That’s nice. I love them both, but I like Misfits more. Or the X-ray-spex.”
“That’s cool. Cool.” He said, nodding.
“Yeah. It’s pretty cool. I noticed your laces. You actually…”
“Oh those? It was a while ago.. yeah.”
“That’s sick. So glad I don’t have to deal with those.” You snickered.
“You mean you actually got anarchy there?” He asked, eyes going wide.
“Yeah… you don’t?”
“Nah. Not yet.” He said, even more interested in you now.

Hello!! i LOVE your writing and I was just thinking about a quick little story of Hobie and pregnant!reader, bc I think he would just be the sweetest, AND have you seen him with mayday it’s so cute. And again your writings are so good love them keep up the good work.

Warnings- pregnancy, fluffy, Peter is such a dad.
Ever since you found out you were pregnant, Hobie hasn’t let you do anything for yourself.
“Hobes, I can do it-“
“Nope. Let me cook tonight, for you and the lil’ guy.” He said, grabbing the spoon from you.
You sighed and rolled your eyes. “Lil guy? Who said it was a guy?”
“Just my guess.“
“I hope it’s a girl because I don’t know if I can handle another man in this house.” You mumbled and sat on the couch.
Hobie just laughed.
The next day, he’s at HQ, making sure you were fine before leaving. He saw Mayday and Peter and decided to say hi.
“Hey guys.” He said when he saw mayday and Peter.
“Hey Hobie! How’ve you been?” Peter asked, and let mayday go free. Hobie grabbed her and held her.
“Been alright. What bout you?”
“That’s good. She’s a little tiring, but pretty good.” He said as he went into detail about him and MJ.
“So, how’s Y/n?”
Hobie snickered “Stubborn. Those pregnancy hormones.”
“Yeah I know what you mean. But in the end.. it’s honestly all worth it, Y’Know? I think you’re going to be a great dad.” Peter said with a small smile as he grabbed mayday again.
“Thanks.. alright, I’ll see you around.”
“See you.” Peter waved, and mayday waved as well as they walked past him.
Hobie replayed those words in his head, he really hoped it would all be worth it in the end. And he hoped he would be a good dad.

Even if he’d never say it, he had a soft spot for you and the child, who you found out was a girl.
“Told you it wouldn’t be a boy.” You snickered once you left the hospital, baby girl in Hobies arms.
“I’m happy with both my girls.” He shrugged, looking at her with admiration, not believing that you both had brought a literal human into the world.
“You really are gonna be the best dad.” You said before you entered the car.
He looked up at you and saw you smiling. Peter was right.

Request: I have a request for Teenagers <33! So basically, Miguel comes home to reader / his adopted daughter, avoiding him. He thought because of their “fight” and him lying to her but in reality it’s because hobie gave her a nose and belly piercing. Thanks, I hope you do this 💕 requested by @mwrmaidluvz

“Are you sure?” Hobie asked you again, for the 100th time. It was his suggestion, but he wanted to make sure you were cool with it.
“I’m sure.” You took a deep breath, he already did the nose piercing, all that was left was the belly piercing.
“All right…” he said, grabbing the needle and sticking it through, you sucked in a breath, and tears started to fall.
“All done.” He mumbled, smiling. “You look… fucking amazing.” He said, looking at you in your crop top and then at your face.
You looked in the mirror. “I think I look badass.”
“You do.” He said, putting up his stuff.
“Oh shit. My dads gonna kill me.” You realized. You hadn’t thought of that.
“I’m sure it’ll be fine. Seems like he’s let go of you a bit more.”
You had realized it too.
“Yeah, I know.”
“You’ll be fine. Promise.” He said.
“You’re right. Alright, go to work, spider-man. I’ll see you later, alright?”
“Yeah, I love you.” He grabbed your cheek, and kissed you, before opening up a portal.
You were now home alone. You looked in the mirror and fiddled with both piercings. He told you how to clean and change them beforehand.
After a few days, Miguel noticed you hadn’t seen him. He noticed it before too, but it hurt him at this point.
Was it because of the argument?
No way. You both were over it. But maybe it still hurt, I mean he did lie to you your whole life. He didn’t know anymore.
He had to talk to you. He thought, heading to your room. He knocked on the door.
“Yeah?” You yelled from inside, anxiety running.
“Can we talk?”
“Uh- yeah, yeah, sure.” You said, he opened the door and you stumbled to get a jacket.
You covered your nose with your hands, he clearly noticed.
“What’s up?”
“Have you been.. avoiding me..?”
Oh shit he knew.
“Wha- avoiding you..? Nah. Don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“If this about what happened-“
“It’s not.”
“Then what’s wrong..?”
“Nothing.”
“If anything happened.. you can tell me, you know?”
You sighed and uncovered your nose. His eyebrows raised. Then you pulled up your jacket.
“Oh. Well… it looks good on you. I thought you were mad at me.” He laughed nervously.
“No.. sorry I lied to you.”
“No- it’s fine. I like it. It looks… cool.”
“Thanks. Hobie did it for me.” You smiled, putting down your jacket.
“Of course he did.” Miguel mumbled.
“I hope you know I was in the doorway this whole time.” Hobie said, Miguel looked back at him as you jumped, not expecting him.
Miguel rolled his eyes, and left the room.
“Keep the door open!” He said.
“Yeah, I know.” You rolled your eyes.
You laughed as Hobie went on the bed next to you.
“I hate to say I told ya so.. but I told you so.”
“Oh shut up.” you threw your pillow at him.
“Oh, we’re doing pillow fights now?” He stood up, grabbing a pillow and hitting you with it as you laughed and screamed.

“Oh, c’mon.” You whined, currently tied up in webs.
“I’ve been chasin’ you for fuckin’ ages, can’t believe this is how I caught you.”
“I was going to hang out with my friend! This is unfair, I deserve a rematch.” You pouted.
“Yeah, no. After that lil stunt you pulled last week, no way. You’re ruthless.”
“They deserved it! Bunch of rich assholes.” You mumbled the last part.
“Well, I can agree with you on that last part, but murdering them ain’t exactly the way to go.” He said, picking you up as if you weighed nothing, and dragging you.
“It was funnn.. plus you know I’m gonna break out again, right?”
“Like you have the other 10 times?”
“Exactly.”
“Great. Can’t wait.” He said sarcastically and rolled his eyes.
And you’d gotten bored of being carried, so you quickly threw yourself onto the ground when you saw a knife in the alley.
He quickly looked back, and saw you cutting you webs, he shook his head and sighed, crouching down to your level as you continued to cut through the webs.
“You never learn, do ya?” He reached over you, grabbing the knife from you.
“No, not really, no.” You shook your head, now just laying on the ground looking at him.
“You’re insufferable.” He sighed and shook his head, sitting down in front of you now.
“Why’d you do it?”
“Cause… rich people suck, plus they’re like some sorta cult, they tried to kill my friend.”
“Still don’t make it right, you know? You’re wanted right now, not sure it’s very safe to be walking around like it’s nothing.”
“Please, if I can handle like a shit ton of rich guys, I can handle some cops."
“Yeah, well, I don’t like ‘em either but..”
“But..? Aren’t you like punk? Aren’t cops and shit like.. exactly what you don’t stand for?”
“Well, I’m better than the system for one. You’re better than the system, but you’re doin’ it wrong.” He shook his head.
“Didn’t know there was a way to go against the system wrong.”
“You- you murder people, you’re a killin’ machine, which I gotta admit is pretty cool. I help people-“
“I help people.. just not in the same way you do-“
“You help people by murdering people. Which in the same sense is… hurting people at the same time.”
“Huh. Guess I never thought about it like that.” You shrugged.
He sighed, and messed with the knife in his hand. He reluctantly cut the webs.
“Jus’… chill out on the murder, yeah? I do like what you did what that one guy though.”
“Which one?” You beamed and sat across from him.
“The predator guy.. what’s his name?”
“His name was like Josh or something.”
“Yeah, him. He deserved it.” He said, and smiled under his mask slightly.
“Just what do you look like under that mask?” You asked him.
“Like a normal person.”
You quirked an eyebrow and smiled slightly. You reached your hands out and pulled up his mask, before you could fully take it off, he stopped you. You saw only his nose, that’s as far as it went. His lips seemed so… kissable?
He let go of your hand and you looked at him for a while. And before you knew it, you both were leaning in, kissing each other.
“You’re very.. pretty.” He said.
You laughed quietly “Well, I would say you too but I still don’t know what you look like under there.” Your cheeks heated up at the compliment.
“Nice try.” He stood up again, and so did you. He pulled down his mask, giving you a small salute and used his webs to go up on a building, jumping through them.
You stared for a while, still in shock.
“Shit.”

Warnings- alcohol, this is everyone’s reminder that Hobies most likely 19, nothing too much
“Ay, now lads, why haven’t we ever bar hopped?” Hobie asked, speech slurred as you rolled your eyes. You knew you would have to take care of him back home.
“Good question, probably because ya can’t hold your alcohol!” Karl laughed at him. Some others around laughed as well.
“That’s not true- is that true?” He looked at you.
“Hobie, sweetie, love of my life, we all know you can’t hold your alcohol.” You said.
“You guys are daft, I can too hold my alcohol. Right Johnnie?” He looked at the bartender.
“My names not Johnnie, Hobie, we’ve known each other for 2 years.”
“Well then who’s Johnnie?”
“Why are you asking me?”
“Cause you look like a Johnnie.”
“Well the answer is no, Hobie.”
“This is bonkers, I mean, seriously.” He huffed like a baby. He tried to get another shot of tequila, it would have been his 7th.
“Okayyyy.. that’s enough.” You took it away from him, handing it back to Karl.
“No fun.” He complained.
“Hobes, you’re plastered.” Karl put his arm around him.
“I am not plastered-“
“Yeah… you kinda are.” You joined in.
Hobie rolled his eyes again.
“Wanna go home?” You asked him.
“I’d love to, beautiful. You gotta boyfriend?” He smirked, putting his arms around you.
“Yeah I do.”
“Oh… well he’s very lucky…” He said, almost sad as he stumbled.
“Hobes, are you really that drunk?”
“I’m not drunk.”
You laughed at him as you walked him to the passenger seat.
You sat down and started driving. When you got to your guys apartment, you looked at him in the passenger seat, he had fallen asleep.
You sighed, getting up and opening his door. You helped him walk upstairs as he yawned and stumbled around.
You unlocked the door, and helped him in. You helped him get onto the bed. He grabbed the covers and looked at you.
He watched you as you got undressed, giggling like a school girl. You rolled your eyes and got into the bed and next to him.
He fell asleep fast, and so did you.

Next morning, you had to handle a hungover Hobie.
“Do I have to get up?” He whined when you told him he had to get up.
“You know you do. Your boss will murder you.”
“Fuck Miguel. No one’s gonna boss me around.”He rolled over in the bed and put his face in the pillow.
“I have a really bad headache.. can you get me some ibuprofen please?” He looked at you.
You sighed, getting up and going into the bathroom. You gave him one and he thanked you.
You sighed “Just take the day off.” And sat on the bed.
“Was planning on it.” He put his face in the pillows once again as you rubbed his back.
“Shocked you haven’t thrown up yet.” You laughed quietly.
“It’ll probably happen soon.” His voice was muffled against the pillow.
“You know, you’re cute when you’re drunk.”

“Okay, so basically, you have super speed and you can control time?!” Miles exclaimed, as he drunk his shake.
“Well.. I used to be able to. I can’t do either anymore. I don’t know why but..” you shrugged, taking a sip of yours and Hobies drink.
“I definitely did not see that coming.” Gwen mumbled.
“Yeah, my girl is even cooler now, ain’t she.” He put his arm around you.
“Your girl? Thought you didn’t like labels.”
“I don’t. And you ain’t no one’s property, and you are a free woman to do whatever you want, but you are my girl.”
You looked at him in confusion but laughed. “All right then..”
“Nothing of what you just said made sense, bro.” Pavitr said.
You all laughed.

“That’s like… 3 miles away.” Miles looked at you.

“If it’s too much I’ll get an Uber or something.” You shrugged.
“Alright, suit yourself.”
“1, 2, and… 3!” They all started to swing, feet off the ground. As soon as you ran, something felt off. You didn’t run often, and it was odd.
First you started off normally, then the speed increased. It increased to the point where your shoes went on fire, and you were at the park in a matter of seconds. The whole team stopped for a moment and stared in shock.
“What the-“ you mumbled, yelling as you realized your shoes were on fire. The kids and parents staring at you.
You put out the fire, and sighed.
“What?” You looked at everyone staring.
You looked and saw everyone still swinging. Hobie with a giant smile on his face as you stood there in complete shock.
“This is crazy. This is absolutely fucking crazy.” You mumbled to yourself, pacing back and fourth.
Hobie raced down to you when he got on the ground, around him turning a bright pink as his eye lenses were wide.
“Holy shit, that was so cool! We were all like ‘oh fuck mate, what the fuck is that?’ And I haven’t gotten a scooby doo on how it happened but-“
“Hobie what the fuck am I supposed to do?!” You grabbed his shoulders and shook him.
“What do you mean?”
“I don’t wanna live my life running like the fuckin’ flash!”
“Don’t know who that is, but I’m sure he’s cool.”
“He is but I don’t want this.. these stupid.. oh my god. Does this mean my time powers are back to?”
“Holy shit. My future wife is so fuckin’ sick.” He said.
“Hobie! This isn’t a good thing-“
“It should be! This is fuckin’ amazing, darling.”
You sighed. “How am I gonna explain this to Miguel? He’s already pissed that we keep jumping dimensions to meet up.”
“I’ll tell him.”
“What?”
“If you don’t wanna tell him, I will.
You sighed. “All right. I’ll tell him.”
Hobie smiled and kissed you.
“Also, I kinda ruined your converse..” you said.
He looked at the shoes you had on, you lifted your leg and showed the bottom of it.
“Ehh. It’s whatever. I’ll get new ones.” He shrugged.
“By her do you by any chance mean steal?”

“I sure do.”

Could you do a Miguel or Hobie x reader where the reader is with a flu and with like a massive headache (I’m actually with a flu right now it’s killing me 😂 ) what would he do to make her feel better.

He’d be kinda like “damn that’s a skill issue” at first, until he realizes it’s the flu
I imagine him as a germaphobe for some reason… like his room and house are so clean your probably won’t find a bit of dust in both
Anyways, he probably will try to see you as less as he possibly can
He will however also try to help you at the same time, asking you if you needed anything and telling you to NOT go to work, which was rare
As soon as he hears you have a headache, he gives you the best painkillers (obviously he has a shit ton)
And he will definitely make soup for you. I know damn well that man knows how to cook 🤌🏽

He’s automatically asking you if you need anything
He stays by you the WHOLE time

Whenever he sees the color pink, he automatically thinks of you.
He couldn’t help it. Even when he saw it around himself, he’d think of you. He was pink when he was with you, your bright smile luring him in.
He loved you, there was no other way to put it. He loved you, and you loved him.
“Hobie!” You said when you saw him, giving him a kiss on the cheek quickly. He smiled at you.
He gave you an actual kiss, and smiled when he pulled away.
“So, what are we doin’ today love?” He asked you.
“I dunno.” You shrugged, as you both held hands.
“You jus’ wanna walk around?”
“Yeah.” You said, looking at him.
“All right.” You both walked down the streets, you looked at some of the nice flowers as you passed.
You both walked through a park, as you looked and pointed at things with a smile. He listened and smiled.
“Well, you know how I always talk about my friends?” He said when you guys sat down for a little.
“Yeah, Gwen, and Pavitr and Karl and-“
“Well, yeah, except karl because you’ve met him like 1000 times. I wanted you to meet Pavitr and Gwen.” Two figures appeared from behind him, they looked lost and confused a little bit.
They both looked at you, shocked a bit that you were real.
Pavitr held his hand out. “I’m Pavitr. I can’t believe you’re real, I mean Hobie always goes off about you but we didn’t think you were actually real.” He said.
You laughed and shook his hand. “I’m real, yeah.”
Then Gwen held out her hand, a face of shock.
“I’m Gwen.”
“Y/n.” You smiled at her.
“Well, now that you see she’s very clearly real you can say nothin’ anymore.” He said with a proud smile.
Gwen rolled her eyes. “Am I the only single one here now?”
“Yeah!” Pavitr said and laughed.
“Damnit.” She mumbled.

“Yeah?!” He yelled back, mouth full.
“Get your ass in here!”
He slowly made his way to the room, you were sitting on the bed.
“Yeah? What’s wrong, love?” He sat down next to you.
“Nothing. I just wanted your attention.”
He furrowed his eyebrows. “So you called me angry to… get my attention?”
“Yeah.. kinda.” You shrugged, and went to sit on his lap. You kissed his neck and he laughed, holding your waist as you straddled him and kissed him.
“You coulda’ jus’ asked, babe.” He mumbled, kissing your neck and face.
You both stared at each other now, and you both laughed.

Haunting pt 2
Pt 1
You and Hobie were awkward. It was just like that.
Maybe you and this new Hobie won’t work out. Even if you didn’t, you were glad to know there was someone going through the same exact thing.
He wasn’t your hobie, and you weren’t his y/n. You could accept that.
So there you both sat, telling stories of how you met in your universes, and how you started to date.
His y/n seemed almost the exact same way as you.
And your Hobie was the same exact way as him. An anarchist, guitar playing, label hating, cute boy.
But he looked a little different, because your Hobie had his septum pierced, and once again, he wasn’t spiderman.
But still, you felt the same attraction towards him as you did your old Hobie already. And he found himself attracted to you as he was to his y/n.
It has been two years, and still you felt guilt every single time this Hobie tried to talk. As if you didn’t want yourself to move on.
“So..” hobie said when you both steeped outside the place.
“I had fun. Thanks for this. We should do this again.” You said with a smile.
He smiled back. Damn that smile was exactly like yours from his universe.
You handed him something. The spiked bracelet you had around your hand.
“It was my Hobies.” You explained as he put it on.
“Thank you.” He said, genuinely. He smiled again and stared at you. In your eyes, and at your lips.
He did something he hoped he wouldn’t regret. He leaned in, and your eyes shut as you leaned in as well.
You both kissed, it was loving, and not rushed.
When you both pulled away, he laughed quietly.
“Alright, I’ll uh… I’ll see you.” He smiled.
“See you.”

He swung around the place, mask and suit off, just swinging. He turned and stopped, making sure no one was around. He smoothed his jacket, and started to walk towards the door.
“Brown, Y’Know the boss is gonna kill her if you keep coming in.” The receptionist said.
“Ehh, can’t kill her when I’m here.” He smirked.
“She should be in the back. It’s her break right now.”
“Thank you.” He said, and walked straight to the back. He saw you writing some things down, and he pulled up a chair next to you, sitting on it.
You looked up, and saw him. You smiled at him.
“I wasn’t expecting to see you.” You gave him a kiss.
“Yeah, sorry I haven’t been here in a lil. Been busy and stuff.” He said.
“It’s alright, you make up for it.” You smiled and went back to writing.
“It’s called a break for a reason.” He said, and slowly grabbed the papers away, and slid a bag to you instead. The bag of your favorite takeout.
You rolled your eyes. “I know Hobie but I’m really busy and-“ you tried to grab the papers and he held them higher.
You smiled and shook your head, laughing quietly. “Alright, you win.”
“Always do love.” He smirked as you opened up the bag and started to eat.
After a while of eating and talking between you both, you had to leave and go back to work.
“Alright, I’ll see you later at home.” You stood up, throwing your stuff away, washing your hands and kissing Hobies cheek.
“Ye- oh, I forgot to tell you. I’m watching Mayday today, Y’Know, my friend Peters kid-“
“Oh! That’s alright. I love her, she’s great.” You smiled.
“Yeah she is. She almost said my name the other day.” He said with a smile.
“That’s great, Hobe’s.” You smiled and a thought popped up. “You’d make a great dad.”
His eyes widened slightly. He’s thought about it for sure, but he didn’t expect it from you.
“Really?”
“Really. Alright, I gotta get back to work. We can talk more later.” You leaned in and kissed him, he gave you the papers you needed as well.
He smiled as he said his goodbyes and walked out the clinic.

This is for the anon who told me that it was their birthday today 😚
Hobie looked around the apartment, Miguel wasn’t too thrilled about the party, but he’d do it for you.
“Alright, she should be home any minute now. Gwen texted me and said she’s almost here.”
You were a bit confused when Gwen told you she wanted to go shopping with you, but you didn’t care and went anyways. You were now carrying multiple bags as Gwen tried to slow down as much as possible.
“Everyone in their positions.”
Miguel mumbled something under his breath about the hat Hobie made him wear.
Gwen opened the door as you put down the stuff. It was dark in the house, and you couldn’t see shit.
“Surprise!” Everyone came out at different times, clearly not planned very well as someone struggled to switch on the light.
“Turn on the light for f-“ the light turned on and there was a banner hung, Miguel’s arms folded as he rolled his eyes at Hobie. Hobie with a giant smile on his face.
“Wow- hello.. everyone.” You said, laughing.
“Happy birthday!” Jessica yelled, you smiled and laughed at her. And you went up to Hobie.
“You did all this for me?” You looked at the gifts and the balloons.
“Sure did. Your dad wasn’t too happy bout it but..”
You kissed him, and Miguel rolled his eyes again.
“Okay, stop doing that in front of everyone.” Miguel broke you both up. You hugged Miguel. His eyes widened, he looked at everyone and patted your back.
“Happy birthday, kid.” He handed you a personal present.
It was a necklace and to anyone else it might not mean much, but to you it was perfect.
A necklace you knew was once Gabriella’s. This was his way of calling you his daughter, of saying that he loved you.
You looked back at him.
“Miguel..”
“I thought it made sense, I can’t hold onto it forever. Sorry it’s not much-“
You hugged him again.
“It’s perfect. Thank you.” You held the necklace in your hands, and put it on.
He smiled ever so slightly as you did so.
“Alright. Very sweet, now let’s get onto the other million presents.” Peter said, mayday strapped to him as always. You laughed and nodded.
Hobie smiled at Miguel. Miguel just looked at him.
“Didnt know he had it in him.” He told you.
“Neither did I.” You shrugged, and smiled at Hobie.
“I love you. I hope you know that.” He said with a smile.
“I know. I love you.” You kissed him on the cheek.

“You ready yet?” He yelled from outside, you were getting ready in his bathroom to go on a date.
“Give me a sec!” You shouted back, putting on your earrings, and stepping outside.
He turned at the sound of the door, smiling widely.
“You look great.” He said.
“So do you..” you said, smiling back.
“Alright, let’s go.” He said, when a portal suddenly appeared in front of you both.
“Hey guys!! You both look great, but could you watch mayday for a little? It’ll only be like for 2… or 4 hours.. I’m super busy with spiderman stuff and-“
“Well, we would but we’re just about to go on a date-“ you started.
“Great! I’ll pay you when I get back.” He said, handing you mayday, a bag, and quickly leaving.
You looked at Hobie who sighed and shook his head.
“Alright.. well… up to the roof we go!” He said, grabbing mayday and you looked at him in confusion.
“While we can’t have a date at the restaurant, it’s a nice night, we can reschedule. We’ll just have a date.. with mayday I guess.” He said.
You smiled at him “Alright. Cool with me.” The three of you going upstairs and onto the roof.
He put mayday down, as she crawled around the roof. You both sat down, looking at the stars.
Mayday came over to you both and sat down next to you both.
“There’s Sirius. And that’s Cassiopeia.” You pointed to them, showing mayday the stars and constellations.
Hobie smiled at you, and a thought appeared in his head.
It wouldn’t be so bad to have children of your own in the future.
A little after, Mayday fell asleep. You both got up and put her on the couch.
You and Hobie both sat at the dinner table now.
“Sorry I made you get ready for nothin’. You still look stunning though.”
“Ehh.. I don’t know..” you mumbled, messing with the end of your dress.
He looked at you. He knew you were insecure, he knew by the longing stares in the mirror, and when you looked at other people who you thought were pretty.
“Look at me.” He said.
You looked at him.
“Beauty standards are bullshit. We don’t listen to them, yeah? It’s stupid, and you’re so beautiful. Even if you can’t see it, you’re gorgeous. And I will murder anyone else who even thinks otherwise.”
You started to tear up at his speech, and laughing at the end. He wiped away your tears with a smile.
“I love you, alright?”
“I love you.” You kissed him.
“Aww. So cute.” Peters voice made you both jump, he was staring at you both with a smile.
“Peter!”
“How long have you been there?”
“Very long. Alright, I will grab mayday and see you two lovebirds later.” He said, grabbing the bag, then mayday and leaving:
You both laughed and smiled at the end of the day. He was right, there was no reason to think about something so small and silly when you have a great life ahead of you.

hi! is this how u make requests? sorry, this is my first time requesting something on tumblr, i wanted to ask if i could request a kinda situationship/ friends with benefits with hobie bc he doesn’t believe in labels, but like something happening like the reader getting insecure or jealous so they become an actual couple with labels or something like that if that’s okay with you, i’m sorry if i said something wrong or you’re not comfortable with that!

Hobie didn’t like labels. He made that known when this friends with benefits situation first started.
He would be lying if he said he didn’t like you at least a little bit though.
The late nights talking, kissing, and sleeping together, the quickies in HQ bathrooms. He loved them all, and he loved you. But he didn’t know what to do honestly.
He wanted to be more, but that would be a lot. Commitment, and consistency.
So, he just tried to hide his growing feelings, pretend they don’t exist, pretend you both were just friends.
But Hobie noticed something was off today, you didn’t sit with him, pavitr, and Gwen at lunch, in fact, he doesn’t even think he saw you at lunch.
You didn’t go up to him with a smile, asking to hang out later.
And you didn’t come back to his boat.
So, instead he opened a portal to your world. Hr swung around as Spider-Man until he stopped at your apartment. Opening the winodow, he looked around in your room.
You were sleeping, peacefully, unaware of him watching you. Which sounded creepy.
He took off his mask, and slowly approached your sleeping figure. He softly touched your shoulder, hoping to wake you up.
It took a little more shaking for you to wake, and you did.
You slowly opened your eyes, and furrowed your eyebrows.
Your eyes were red, almost as if you’ve cried yourself to sleep.
“Hobie?” You mumbled quietly.
“Yeah. It’s me.” He sat on the bed, next to your legs.
“What do you want?” You turned yourself the other way.
“Jus’ wanna talk. What’s wrong?” He asked, his hand on you arm.
“Nothing. I’m fine, why?”
“You didn’t talk today. Or come over.”
You sighed quietly and turned back to look into his eyes, he was frowning.
“Can I be honest, Hobie?”
“Of course.”
“I can’t keep doing this.”
“What?”
“This.” You motioned to the both of you. “Look, I want more, and I can’t have more when your so set on not wanting more. So I’m gonna go find someone else, that does want more.”
He stayed silent for a while.
“God, Hobie, I’m… I’m in love with you, I can’t be.” You said quietly.
“You seriously think I don’t wanna date you?”
“You said so.”
“But do I actually think that?”
“I don’t know.. do you?”
“Of course I fucking don’t. Thought I was makin’ it obvious. And I thought that you wouldn’t want the same that’s why I didn’t say nothin’.”
You stayed silent now, not too sure what to say.
“I love you, Y/n.” He said quietly, and leaned in to kiss you.
You kissed him back and smiled softly.
“But I thought you didn’t believe in consistency either.”
“Bending the rules is okay innit? Isn’t breaking the rules the most punk thing?”
You laughed quietly and kissed him again, he took off his suit and got under the covers with you.
“I’m glad you came.” You mumbled quietly, you both now looking at each other.
“Me too.”
