34. pick a character that they know. what is something that they do that your character finds charming/endearing?

S-POR: Iggy, the fighter/rogue in the party who is their bff fucks around with these divination cards that are from Madame Eva and are actually magic, so the results sometimes can be, terrifying. It doesn't stop S-POR from finding the act endearing, even though it has knocked out at least One (1) person and more (idk remember) because he pulled The Dark One card.

Yuyu: god it's been so long since I thought about this character and the characters related to xem,

I'm gonna use xeir neutral NPC, so xeir ex-fiancee goes deep diving with xem. One thing mey fiddles around with the items the two find, which does make the activity longer and risk yuyu being seen if the two take so long that it turns to dawn, but yuyu finds it charming.

35. pick a character that they know. what is something that they do that your character finds annoying/frustrating?

S-POR: Frey, our barbarian in the party is, the only one who cares about morals in our party and that sounds wild to say but it's because she's the most normal one in our party of two fucked up amnesiacs, a soldier, and a were-raven. So when she Does question the morality of the party's actions, S-POR does find it frustrating bc it's not like we can take the action back, accept the consequences instead of wallowing in regret!

Yuyu: god. once again,

I refuse to look up NPCs again so instead ill just say words and that's canon babey!

yuyu has a rival intern (rival shopkeeper) who hates that xe is taking business for nonsensical stuff, and so I think the rival shopkeeper just occasionally comes over to see how well xeir business is doing and when yuyu tries to be friendly, they never respond. Which is frustrating to xem bc xe just wants to be friends D:

Devotion #she is Fully about balance and equalizing things which means ai causes a little chaos now to bring order to things later #but i have NO idea how that translates to current wotc oaths #hence the lil ? there #almost added a oneshot character then i remembered that i Didnt add a previous oneshot character so i think the legal precedent here allows #me to Not think abt the nightmare of tagging jokey oneshot characters on here with oaths #char: troy

asdkadl im so sorry for not replying to this for so long, I've completely forgot and hopefully I'm doing this with the right ask meme 😭

I think I’m gonna do a different character per question, so it’ll be Yuyu, Iris, and Vesuvia

7. Your character is at a party. It would be super lame to go home early, but in order to get a long rest before a tournament they’re in starts tomorrow, they have to leave at 9. When does your character leave?

Yuyu isn’t a hardcore partier and loves sleep, so xe would leave right on the dot on 9 with probably a few experimental drinks in xem.

8. When attempting to return home to the Fey Wild, your character accidentally got sent to Shadowfell. Would they drink from a chalice by a pool in the bottom of a system of caves that they were told held the only source of magic in Shadowfell?

Fuck no, Iris ain’t here for power, nor is he a fool. Drinking suspicious liquids from a chalice you don’t know rings ALL sorts of red flags. He’ll decline

19. Your character’s level 20 polycule is being forced to fight to the death by a god. There’s an incredibly incredibly annoying wizard who’s also here. He trapped two of your party members in a prismatic wall. You can kill him easily, but he keeps insisting his spells are useful, and you’ll probably have to fight this god eventually. What do you do?

Ves would feel bad about the wizard dying, so phae would probably just do a couple of cure wounds whenever he goes down However if it comes down to a which one, captain with either the wizard and his dwagon bff Adventurine, Ves would mercilessly sacrifice the wizard for Advi to live

ik yuyu is straight up the Only spirit iirc in the ghame party which does make xem stand out, but I just think its neat that im fulfilling my dream to be just a Guy and a shopkeeper PC in dnd

Fully funny to me that I've once again done the "person is far from home and is a stranger to all the customs in this land they're in" for now Four (4) games that I will be playing in at the same time span at some point

Followed closely by, "this person essentially has no close bonds with Anyone until now"

Runner up with this one is "the closest bonds they have are Their Parent(s)/Creator" which I now realize after typing it is Also happening in these (4) four games

#sheltered but wise in thie own way #sigh.#why do i accidentally typecast myself 😔#as much as i like doing these characters #and apparently characters that have chosen to exile themselves bc it's easier to do that than reach out and form emotional connections #it. gets tiring after doing it (*accidentally*) for So Many games #sometimes i just wanna play a spy! or detective!#they would be SO fun to play #me @ my mind: blease have some variety in our character backstories #alrighty time to call out myself even further by adding all the characters that fall under this #char: S POR #char: praden #char: Pandora #char: LUC A #char: Mayuyu #char: Rhondonite #char: Brialla #i feel like there's more but honestly not surprised it's all characters that have been made for campaigns rather than oneshots #char: grove #char: robusta #just checked my list of ocs and Yup. sure were more to add #hate that robusta does technically count in this even though she doesn't really regret the connections she lost #bc she knows theyre out there and this was fully a choice she chose to make and continue to make #even if she doesn't want to analyze that part on a emotional level #also wild that there's even more i can add but i refuse to bc i haven't play those characters yet 😌

46. would you most like to trade places with?

honestly? yuyu. xe has a nice thing going on, xeir own shop, living out near the sea and therefore not too far from home, spirits in the forest, living in the same town as your friends,

47. would you least like to trade places with?

S-POR. They are doing better now but the way I would instantly die in Barovia and then get my soul risk getting nibbled on when I reincarnate is not at all appealing,

Pandora also lives in a sucky situation considering the world they are from is post-apocalyptic Earth, roughly 5 years after the Apocalyptic Event happened

48. do you consider the most sterotypical/classic example of their class?

S-POR again. They are so druid that I cannot see them multiclass or be another class unless they completely retrain the levels, and they would not do that in a thousand years

LUC-A also feels like a classic cleric despite the not-so-stereotypical god/cleric relationship. I think it's the righteous fury and devotion to the faith of it all.

Praden and Iris feel like classic examples of paladins. Praden a little more so than Iris tbh bc of his unwavering faith and commitment to his oaths. His awareness of his mortality would not stop him from fulfilling his oaths. Iris is more along the lines of the 'old scarred knight' trope that I can see fitting paladins the best.

Ignatius fits rogues stereotypes pretty well despite being a multiclass one with paladin. He is pretty much all those edgy rogues ppl warn you about except wrapped in a pretty pink outfit with a cellophane ribbon jacket and an outgoing personality.

49. is or was your favorite to roleplay?

Already answered! It's a variety of characters, but atm the ones I can think of on the top of my head are my current voice characters (S-POR, LUC-A, Ignatius, etc.)

50. is or was your favorite to play in combat?

Also already answered! It depends on what role I play in combat (usually healer/supporter/tank), but the list is S-POR, LUC-A, and Praden

9. is the oldest? the youngest?

out of my current characters Iris is the oldest easily (WAIT A MINUTE IT'S [REDACTED]), with the youngest i guess it's yuyu.

However, lemme tell you that the youngest character ive ever played differs depending on if we're talking chronological age or maturity. Youngest overall is either Adam who I started playing as a DM PC at 12 years old OR Rha (they/them) who is an adult aarakocra at 10 years old. I played both characters with the same friend group. They exclaimed why i continue to either play birds or children

Now my oldest character overall is probably my god of Death and Judgement in my Godsend twoshot named Etros (they/them) but that feels too easy of an answer so im gonna focus on my dnd charact-

oh wait there it is it's the same answer as above so true Iris and [Redacted]

17. has killed the most?

ngl it's prob Mycena if im doing dnd only but i think it would be fun to think who else would be the first/second, sooo

hmmm, it's likely Etros as an alternate highest or my demigod in the Godsend twoshot named Beris bc Beris is an Incarnation of War

my Karanduun character Duma who is a Sitan martial disciple of the Sibat, the bamboo spear that slays anghels/angels, could work as a distant second [Karanduun is a ttrpg system that focuses on killing god(s). You get to attack and dethrone god in this combat-leaning system and it's fun to fight; pbta inspired iirc].

OR my character Valur (they/them) [no origin ttrpg system for them bc the creator of that system who i used to go to college with is homophobic/transphobic] who is a spirit/ghost/elemental? creature summoned in the middle of war by forces unknown to serve as a neutral party that fucked up soldiers going after innocents/non-combatants and therefore killed Many before the war ended.

OR Duroth from Big Gay Orcs who killed so many people in his last stand before dying

OR Val/Bedlam who is part of the assassins crew and likely has racketed up a kill count since starting a life of crime in Duskvol

hmmm gonna focus back on dnd characters now bc there's Still More to this list that can count as if not a distant second a close third

Gurra (he/she) and Iris would kinda tie for similar reasons of killing bc of orders from higher authority, as would LUC-A honestly but instead of for orders (derogatory) it would be bc of loose orders/missions from higher authority (dad who is her god) that eventually turned into "i will kill you bc im filled with righteous fury at the injustice here" and That happened a lot more often than either her or their dad expected adlnaldn

fuck me Kiran (they/them) ALSO falls in line with the above bc of their past as a soldier while serving under their god bc that's what they were raised to do as a protector aasimar who grew up under their god's church,

Ignatius and Opuntia Robusta (she/her) make it up to here in the kill list for criminal reasons. i think if the two ever met they would not get along (also fire with a plant person is 😬)

Ritalin and Ishara (she/her), the spirit tied to the kalashtar Ishtar, have an honorary mention bc those two killed in self-defense and also have a lot of deaths tied to them by association tbh but they Do exhibit murder vibes

(s/o to that one time where Ritalin asked their party member with an abusive/evil brother if she wants him dead bc he'll Do It, and the abrupt silence on that character versus the shocked laughter of the rest of the group made it into the highlights doc)

39. is the best with animals?

Mechanically it's Pandora bc shepherd druid, but emotionally, it's, hmm, actually idk if any One character i have is good overall with animals

there's like Ritalin who is good with birds, yuyu and Praden who makes regular friends with the sea life, S-POR theoretically is good with animals like wolves and ravens :] but is more of a plant person y'know

Kaius is my underwater warlock who can also make friends with sea life but idk if Kaius would since that's not a character ive yet to play after leaving the group this PC was for

50. is or was your favorite to play in combat?

For #healer/support rights it's S-POR bc of the combination of being to help people and access to AOE's. I can't wait to play S-POR in CoS as level 14 with the condition immunities and unable to get crit damaged on lovelove

For battlefield control, it's LUC-A bc the combo of spirit guardians and spiritual weapon is lovelove and I Also get to heal though emotionally it doesn't feel as necessary in the middle of combat

For damage output and tank rights, it's Praden during that level 15 oneshot where I had 24 AC with him and then nearly killed someone in one hit with a crit smite :)

Ishtar gets a special shout out for having a vorpal sword in that high-level oneshot i played them in and critting (decapitation) in the final boss
